Galaxy i9500 Custom Recovery Error (Help Asap) - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
When i got my i9500 i tried rooting it with a guide i found. It didn't work and i ended up flashing the phone with a stock rom, and re rooting with an updated and working guide.
Rom manager says i have two custom recoveries installed but when i try to boot into a custom recovery (CWM) it will not boot, instead it is booting straight to stock recovery. I think they may not have been removed when i flashed the stock rom.
Could someone please help by giving me instructions on how to get it working again.
Thanks for you help

Just Switch off your phone & Then press Power On+Volume up+menu button. You will go to recovery.

In the post i said that it will not boot into any of the custom recoverys that i have. Is there a way to remove them?

[Q] Where can I get the stock recovery file for the i9505?

Hi again,
I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on the stock recovery file for the Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505? I need it soon, unless flashing the stock firmware would reset the recovery to stock recovery.
I'm currently using CWM recovery.

Hi,
Look HERE
Look for the one that matches your current firmware.
OK well thanks for the link but my phone is ZHUAME1. Does that matter or can I use any stock recovery file?

Sorry no that's just firmware. I need the stock recovery file so I replace CWM with the original stock recovery.

Hi,
I know.
I was just suggesting that you ask in that thread if the firmware will replace your custom recovery.

[q] urgent!! Sg s4 how to install cwm on i337ucuamf3

Hello XDA, I've been looking for 1 week on how to install a custom rom on my rooted galaxy s4 on mf3 at&t but first i need to install cwm so can any of you all direct me to a video or give me steps on how to install cwm for i can install custom roms? thanks.
If you have been looking for a week, than you should already know that you cannot flash a custom recovery on mf3. It will brick your device.
Currently not possible at the moment

Btw it does not brick your device. It just puts it in a loop which is easily fixed by holding power button and volume down and instead of pressing up press reboot. Wala no longer bricked
That may work. There have been cases of hard bricks. Please be 100% sure of your information before posting.

Hard Brick
I tried to install CWM and the method mentioned did not fix it. Best Buy couldn't fix it either but they sent me to Samsung repair center and they flashed with Odin so mine is back to stock MF3 now.

[Q] Soft Bricked i337

Hi everybody!
I think I soft bricked my Galaxy S4. I had MF3 firmware, flashed Safestrap and Installed custom ROM. Everything was Okay before I decided to flash another one. I flashed Alpha v10 ROM and it didn't boot.
Right now I'm stuck with Galaxy s4 writing and accessible Download Mode and stock recovery mode.
What should I do now? I know that we don't have MF3 firmware available but is there any possibility to boot this phone?
Thanks in advance
There is a script on here that you can flash with odin to make your phone boot normally its in the android development section for our phone. Try looking for it there. Good luck.

[Q] My phone is stuck at samsung logo

Hey guys
Im so confused now
I used the magic tool to install 4.4.2 Rom, I downloaded the rom and flashed it then went to download mode to add the files to odin and flash them, I done all the steps and rebooted but it's stuck at the samsung logo.
Then I tried to flash the rom again but my device is still stuck at the samsung logo also it now skips the safestrap. I can only enter download mode
What should I do please help me
Did you flash the kernel if needed? You have to provide more info in order to get help model, build released, kernel, version you are coming from?
Just guessing if you are on a boot loop it's because you are missing something or flash something wrong but provide precise info to help better.
