Several game are not listed as compatible with Note but I'm quite sure they can work, so if I change build.prop to Galaxy S2's model number, would that work?

Hi, my girl friend bought a galaxy note from Korea last week.
We live in Turkey and in Turkey we have to register the imei number of the phone to the govenrment. But, there is no imei number in the phone. We tried *#06#, we went to the samsung service, but the phone does not have an imei number. Is it possible to write email to note?
I want to flash an international rom, but I do not know is it possible for E160L version of galaxy note? I could not find any information about this.
Does anybody have korean version of galaxy note? Could you change the rom?
Thanks
Dont want to sound offensive but did she really bought a real phone?? Bcoz never heard of a phone without Imei..apart from chinese fakes.
She is with me now. I am already using n7000 galaxy note. First she called me and told this situation. I did not believe her first. But, yesterday she brought her phone to me. Yes it is a real galaxy note SHV-E160L. I called samsung, they said that yes it is true but you have to contact Samsung Korea.
It is really interesting but yes the phone has no imei.
I solved the registration issue of imei number. I called the government office, and they said that because it has no imei there is no problem because we can not detect your phone.
Now I have to install an internation Rom. How can I install Europe or US Rom to Korean Galaxy note?

Does anybody tried the new galaxy gear on the Note 10.1?
How cool will that be, I am now using a Samsung Bluetooth Stick its good but the usage is too limited, i cannot see who is calling or i need to take out the note when making a call. But with the Gear not only that you can dial using it, you can even receive messages. Planning to buy gear but its only supported on Note 3. Anyone tried to install the gear manager on the Note 10.1
The Gear currently only works on the Note 3 or the Note 10.1 (2014) not with the 2012 version.
Hi! I'm temped to buy a Galaxy Gear 2 since my Galaxy Note 3 was updated to KITKAT and the Galaxy guy told us that the new Gear will be compatible with KITKAT, I was checking out the Galaxy S5 and the new S-Health seems to has a full compatibility with the New Galaxy Gear, but ours still says that only the Galaxy Gear 1 is compatible with the app, therefore we can't use the Hearth Monitor, I tried to install the ported version of S-Health of the Galaxy S5 but every time I reboot the phone the app erased everything making it like a new app.
Anyway to get the new Galaxy Gear 2 work with the Galaxy Note 3 with all the functions that has the Galaxy S5?
I have noticed from watching videos on YouTube that alot of the different variants of the s7 have a few setting differences, I'm not sure how many are different and im curious of what my fellow Galaxy s7 owners have to say on this matter. I have the T-Mobile version and in my settings I've noticed that I have the download booster like my s5 had and I do not have the setting to change the duration of the touch keys as well as not have Galaxy labs. I heard Galaxy labs was absent in all US variants though.
Now that my phone is out of warranty, it's time to root it. I want to make sure I get the right stock-based ROM for it. There are 3 variants, according to another thread in this forum: Galaxy S4 LTE-A SK (SHV-E330S, ks01lteskt), Galaxy S4 LTE-A KT (SHV-E330K, ks01ltektt) and Galaxy S4 LTE + International (GT-I9506, ks01lte). How can I find which is the one I have? I bought the phone in Greece. I can't find anything I distinctive on the box or in the battery compartment. The Samsung label on the box and inside the phone just say GT-i9506. Since I've never seen all the variants, I can't tell if that is all the information I need to know and, thus, ks01lte is what is appropriate.

ROMs are generally unified. So, unless the other models have some slight hardware differences, it should work regardless.
But booting into download mode should show you the exact model.
