So this tablet went nuts, Stock non rooted 10.1 LTE. It rebooted and it is stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" screen.
I tried to get it back by Powering it of and pressing the VOL up button, The cereal box with android bot icon and the androidbot showed up, i selected the Androidbot (Odin) flashed the .tar from rootzwiki for th LTE version. Everything got done with a final PASS on odin.
The Tablet attempted to reboot but is stuck a the black screen with no letters until i power it off and power it back on, but it will only get to the Samsung logo again. If i Power and VOL up again and select the cereal box, the screen goes black and nothing happens.
Could someone shine some light i have tried everything i knew to do to get this thing to boot up Thanks !

Hi Guys
Appologies if this has been asked before (I cant find) but my 2 week old S4 started playing up yesterday by constantly rebooting. It did this about 5 times whilst in touchwiz and then it would get as far as the Samsung logo with the blue glow, wait for about 10 mins and then reboot.
It now is stuck on the Galaxy S4 screen and wont do nothing.
Ive tried to get into recovery (Vol+ Home Power) and get the blue reboot top left and then nothing.
Hope somebody can help
ok first of all turn off your phone. then hold volume up and power. when the Samsung Galaxy S4 Screen comes out stop holding the buttons. then it will ask you if you wanna go into the recovery and you say continue (vol +) then your in the recovery and go to wipe data and wipe cache. (up and down with vol+ and vol- and click with the power button. after the wipe reboot system
Tried all ways of getting to get into the recovery menu but it just sits at Recovery Booting....
I rooted with CF-auto method, phone worked fine. I downloaded CWM Rom Manager and downloaded CWM Recovery through the app. I decided to try and flash TRiforce 5.4 as my first ROM. Selected to back up everything and wipe clean with a full install. Towards the end There was a fatal error. It said it needed to be rebooted. I clicked reboot now. It said something about AROMA installer. Then rebooted. It showed the Galaxy s4 logo, then went black. I waited and waited and waited. And nothing happened. I tried pressing power and nothing would happen. I eventually pulled the battery out and reinserted. Upon pressing power, the same thing. It would show Galaxy s4 logo then go to black. I thought perhaps my battery died during install. Tried plugging in to A/C adapter and the battery logo pops up but the circle that usually continues to flow in a circle just freezes and does not flow. No light turns on to indicate charging. If I unplug the charger it is still frozen on the same charge screen. I popped my battery into a friends s4 and it charges fine, and is still at about 50% power. I've tried vol up+home+power, vol down+home+power and they both get the same results, just the galaxy s4 logo, then black screen. No booting whatsoever. Does this mean my phone is now bricked?:crying:
edit, vol down+ power has just gotten me into download mode! I guess I'll download a stock rom tomorrow and flash it via odin. Sucks because i don't have internet at my house. I'm at the library right now... 15 hours to dl stock rom lol...

Try going into recovery mode again by pressing get down the volume down and home button than finally the power button. The phone should vibrate and then as soon as the Samsung logo comes out let go of the buttons or else the phone will reboot again. Time it right so it goes into recovery

Have you fixed this issue, volume up +home+power is recovery mode, volume down+home+power is to download mode then u press up to complete
Rezzing old thread, I know. But I'm leaving this here in case anyone is poking around for clues to their s4 not powering on.
I have one that does not power on, as in bo combination of "press this and that..." is going to work (as if that isnt the first step in troubleshooting...I know not everyone does it right, but its really annoying when any post mentioning no power on/not responding to any key presses or charger plugin is full of "just try harder to boot it" posts..... Anyways...) The power pins register about half a volt, surging around from 100mV to ~3V . The battery does not charge and there us a constant slowly draining voltage on the power pins while unplugged and no battery.
The only clue Ive found so far us a youtube video of a no power on S4 having its power IC replaced which fixed it. Unfortunately I dont have the tools currently to try it, so at least mine, is still dead in the water.....
[G935F] I think I bricked my phone!! Black screen "Galaxy s7 edge", can't reset/dl!!
I used this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/bypass-frp-samsung-s7-edge-global-usa-t3405954
I went to Odin, PDA, chose the correct file, flashed, said success, it rebooted my phone, and now I'm perma stuck on black screen "Samsung Galaxy s7 edge". Holding power + vol down did nothing! Holding power + vol down + home did nothing! Same with power + vol up + home!
Gahh what do I do? I'm freaking out a bit :/ did I brick my phone? Why can I not even get to download mode ?? The screen just flashes a second as if it's going to go to DL mode but just shows the black screen again.
You sure you flashed the Exynos files?
I think You should contact that guy who made that boot.tar file, and tell him about the issue. Are You sure that You had a Qualcomm model or did You flash the proper G93x file?
Try this:
Hold Vol down+Home+Power for at least 10-20 seconds. Make sure that You follow this order. And then just wait. If it won't boot into download mode then we will think.
Whats about a jig?
I have the same problem. I am using a sm-g935a and it stays black but when i try to go into recovery mode the blue light comes on for a second or two saying entering recovery mode then it goes black again. Mine is aQualcomm model and rooted.
I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy Tab A T280 to the latest firmware and I lost my root. So this afternoon I re-rooted it. Or I attempted to, anyway. Everything seemingly went fine, and I booted into TWRP just fine. I went to flash the ROM and I also selected wipe cache/davlik cache to be done as well, and tapped reboot. My device then turned off and when it started the reboot, it got stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A logo screen and would not move or power off by holding the power button (I tried for a LONG time by using a rubber band to hold it down so I didn't have to, with no luck), and every other combination of buttons wouldn't do a thing, except for holding power + vol down, which made it turn off and back on, but it wouldn't finish rebooting and it just got stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A logo again. So then I thought that maybe plugging it into a charger might not be a bad idea, and after holding down power + vol down again, it turned off and turned on and showed a battery with a charging symbol. I've had it plugged in for an hour and it does not show a charge or do anything except for go back to that boot logo if I unplug it from the charger and again hold down power and volume down separately.
I know it's not hard bricked because it is somewhat responsive so I think there's a chance to fix it, hopefully. I just want it to turn on and fully reboot into anything or in any way that will allow me to be able to fix the issue. My computer will not recognize the device so ADB is not an option right now unless I'm wrong.
Thanks a lot guys, I am so confused and could really use some advice.
What firmware did you install
Try to install original firmware via software "Samsung Smart Switch" on your PC with connected tablet.
I too recommend that you try installing the last firmware that you were on via Odin. Also, when you hit that screen lock issue after a firmware flash, where only the Samsung logo appears do this:
1. press and hold Home + volume up and volume down along with power button (that's all 4 buttons). Hold it there for at least 20 seconds and it should power off.
2. Once the device powers off keep holding the buttons but let go of the volume down button.
3. Once the tablet starts to power back up again release the power button and then in about 1 to 2 second release the rest of the buttons.
This should get you back into recovery. You should at least be able to restore any backup, that you should have already, on your external micro SD.
Good luck.. : )
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
the above post is 100% right. Reboot back into recovery and you'll be good to go. Also twrp has a option to reboot back to recovery so this doesn't happen, just a fyi for future knowledge. Best of luck..
You tried to flash a rom with twrp?
You need to flash stock firmware with odin.
My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + is stuck on a blue screen with a caution logo, a dead android logo, and the words "Error!"
This happened when i clicked an unknown button in recovery mode, i think its along the lines of "Install via ADB"
This is a stock recovery mode by Samsung
I am unable to power off the phone by holding the power button
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Turn it off with power volume down and home all at once for a few seconds. Let go once it goes black and see if you can turn it on. If not do that combo with volume up instead. Can you get into recovery? It will turn off with that 3 button combo.
