After upgrading to mango(and performing a reset to use my fancy new SD card) i am no longer able to enable auto dim. Every time I try, it just disables itself. I can manually set the brightness options but just can't get auto dim to work.
Have you guys run into this?
Weird, that shouldn't happen.
You can try another hard reset (from settings).
That's what support was saying, but I don't want to re-install everything again.
I am having the same issue post mango day firmware update. I am also having an issue with the proximity sensor not working. Hard reset did not correct either.
Sent from my SGH-i917 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
I´m having the same issue, please right in microsoft answers page (the are some posts about that but I cant add the link) so we can find a solution or call microsoft attention

Do you guys think this could be fix by the registry editor????
After I upgraded my Focus to Mango, I still have auto dimm.
Just tried a hard reset still not working. Do you guys have SD Cards?

Hi everyone,
I had been running LiquidSmooth 3.1 for several weeks with great results. I thought I would try something else for fun, and flashed a Google Edition ROM by Danvdh. It was not to my liking and I quickly went back to LiquidSmooth - however now I am finding I have very poor signal strength. I no longer receive signal in my garage, or at work, or even in my living room where this was previously never an issue. Right now I am sitting at my computer beside a large window, and I have LTE connection. By the time I have finished typing this post, I have no connection
I have now upgraded to LiquidSmooth 3.2 but the issue remains. I will lose my connection to Rogers and when I go to Mobile Network Settings > Network Operators it only sometimes finds a connection.
Is there any way I can test my antenna or flash a Rogers/Canada modem that might help with this?
Well this is interesting...let me provide some background info.
A few weeks back I broke the screen on my S4. I purchased a screen replacement on ebay for $120, but it was for an i9500 which has a few very small differences, and required taking an xacto knife to some plastic moulding to accommodate some different IC clearance. That worked great, but I noticed that my screen was constantly black when on a phone call - as if my proximity sensor was always detecting 'near'. Sure enough, I used an app to confirm this - and this is common after screen replacements with non-OEM screens. A fix for this is to put a small strip of electrical tape between the two proximity sensors so they can better detect a 'difference'. Put the phone together, and this worked great, my phone now properly detected proximity, I felt like a champion, so I wanted to flash a new ROM.........now read post 1.
I've attached a screen recording I took of it just dropping connection...and reconnecting, almost flickering in and out. It seems to average about -120dbm (10%), but I'm not sure whats normal. It seems to drop connection around -130dbm.
I've been able to flash a new modem I337MVFLUFNI2 but my issue still exists. Is it possible that I physically damaged parts of the antenna when replacing the screen? I am very confident working with electronics and there doesn't seem to be any physical damage that I can see
When using Danvdh GPE rom you have to manually select LTE from access point menu. Did you do this?
---------- Post added at 09:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:11 PM ----------
I would suggest you flash back to stock fw to your current boot loader. Of its mdj current then flash back to mdj stock via Odin. You have a miss match of hardware and perhaps a mismatch of uuids is your issue?
---------- Post added at 09:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:15 PM ----------
Then re-upgrade just modem. Be Sir to do this all with aim card out and no WiFi or else when on stock you may auto upgrade to Knox boot loader !

That sounds like a great idea. I found this thread that says my default would be I337MVLUEMK6 (is this my bootloader version?) . I went to samsung updates and found my phone the SGH-I337M with the MK6 and am downloading it currently. Will this flash my bootloader/ROM/everything back to stock? Or will I have to find a stock ROM as well?
I have selected LTE from my APN menu.
Attached are a couple screenshots of the Network Signal Info app I downloaded which has been a great resource. You can see that at some points I jump from great signal to no signal, almost instantly. I believe that this might be due to something that happened when I swapped my screen - perhaps a grounding issue of some sort....researching how to troubleshoot this as well.
Thanks for stopping by my thread :highfive:
On stockfirmware the flashlight and also the flash didn't work most of the time (battery >90%).
Only sometimes when connected to the powersupply it works.
When it works and I switch on the flashlight with connected powersupply and then I disconnect the powersupply, the flashlight is still on and can't be switched off.
First I have to connect the powersupply again and then I can switch off the flashlight.
I allready did a complete wipe, but it won't be better.
Same here, flashlight works most of the time tho, but flashlight on camera never works, it´s grayed out.
Did you report the bug?
---------- Post added at 07:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:03 PM ----------
I reported that bug now here: http://community.cyngn.com/t/some-m...lash-flashlight-poor-wifi-back-button-led/208
feel free to jump in there and post something yourself, the more people the better
I have noticed that the flash would only work if you use "Automatic" mode. In all other modes, the flash is greyed out.

I reported the excel-calendar-bug.
I'm a bit frustrated, because it seems nothing happens
Over a week without any update, but more and more bugs are reported, and the company/support doesn't give any feedback or even react on emails or reply on the cyanogen-community-board
It's really sad, because I think it could be really a great device, but it seems ZUK doesn't have any type of support.
If soon nothing happens, I will send it back and this was my first and last try with this company.
Anyone with the solution of camera flashlight.
Hi, i updated my B190 to B550 and after that, batterylife went almost insanely bad. On B190 i could use phone almost two days and now i have to charge on days. I ran Battery Calibration when i updated. After few days still bad battery life.
Could problem be that i didn't do factory reset ?
Doing factory reset is the best practice to do to ensure the new firmware works at its best. However, I tend to avoid doing that(lazy...)
Battery is worse for me too, going from b524 to b550. Google play services seems to be misbehaving, using about 3 times more battery than the next software(Android OS). Uninstalling updates seems to help, but other apps may complain. Also, Themes appears as big background consumer from time to time.
Because i'm so lazy. Is the easiest way to factory resetting using TWRP

I always do hard reset after flash or upgrade and no issues at all. So yes, hard reset is a must.

twrp is for rooted devices. I personally prefer the 3 key combo instead of reset from within the menu.

the google apps are "bastards"
I kep only Play and Services all other gaps disabled including the webview. It helps a bit (+3 hours) so if not pushing hrad running almost 2 days. Also, when using Auto On Off (23:00-6:00) keep phone running easily 2 days.
Yeah, but because i have TWRP so i tought would it be simplest way to factory reset . Will try when i get to nearby chargee
Hi I have had my P8 light for about 10 months, its a good phone but sometimes I take photos and they do not store, this I can fix by switching the phone off and on, but the most annoying thing is it sometimes deletes pictures, this can be individuals or groups and doesn't seem to have a pattern but they are always recent and not older ones, the last lot of videos I too cant be opened. I have set to factory settings and re installed but happened again. Any ideas?

Reflash Firmware! (Do you have enough space free? ) You can google how to Do that without root or twrp!
Make an Backup! !!
Thanks for the reply, I have at one point put the phone back to factory settings and re- installed but the same problem has come back, I do have enough free space (about 13 gig on the SD card), I am not very up on the language, what do you mean by Reflash Firmware, what will this do, would I be better off just rooting?
I took some pics last night, I have just tried to download through the USB cable, it managed to download two on the pics but another two have been deleted through the process.

Nope, i think that root wouldn't fix anything. But i csn send you SN camera APP from the Play Store. Install it and tell me if it works then.

Hello guys, after i updated to .316 version, i can no longer use fingerprint to unlock my phone, it always say "not recognise". I tried testing the fingerprint sensor by going to calculator and do the .12345 but the test said the sensor works fine. I tried to remove all fingerprints then add it again but no help. Does anybody got the same issue, or anyone knows how to fix it? Thanks
Sorry for bad english!
Hello, my fingerprint scanner didn't respond either, and it only happened within the past hour, same build version
Pressing harder and wiping the surface didn't do anything. When trying to register a new fingerprint profile, didn't detect anything too.
The only way for me to use it again was to restart the phone. And even then, it happened again. So far it has happened 3 times since first encountering the bug.
Anyone with an idea of what might cause it?
Thank you.

it happens to me sometimes too
maybe its 316 new bug
just restart the phone it should work normally(at least for me it works)
Post this issue on Zentalk forum. & Also share the link to this thread there. Atleast we'll get a computerised message from the ASUS moderator.
