Playstation3 remout control - Desire Themes and Apps

need a program to manage ps3
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App

people who can share information! because I want to control my PS3 with the desire
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App

I know of two, pocket BLU and BlueputDroid.
Search for them in the market.
I've only tried BlueputDroid. Works over bluetooth as a keyboard and mouse. You need to be rooted and have a compatible rom, they suggest Cyanogenmod.
pocket BLU works over WiFi network and can control playback with pop up keyboard i think.

Thank you! I will try

I wonder why Sony's hasn't come up with an app yet, they already have an app for their new TV's and BD-players...

Why release a free app that competes with your $30 remote?
Tvs and Bd players come with remotes anyway.

Wiimote

What is your experience with this? With my roms working and hdmi working I want to give it a try. Your thoughts?
Sent from my MIUI powered Evo
I haven't been able to put it down, they run smooth, like if it were on the original systems! The n64 one is being tweaked at the moment but the rest kick ass, do it, you wont regret it

Is there any way to use the wiimote to control the android environment, not just game emulators?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I haven't really researched it, but as far as I've seen on here, no. It would definitely be cool to use it as a remote for when it's connected via HDMI for watching movies or photo slideshows or music.
Sent from my Ginger ***** Supersonic
Yeah thats what I have found too. Would definitely be cool if it did work.

Wiimote is great! I also use it with the classic controller for games that require a few more buttons.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Going to try it.
Thanks
My wiimote doesn't seem to want to work with my emulators. I assign the correct buttons in the emulator settings but they never work. But the wiimote apps notice that I am pressing the buttons so do the emulators settings menu but when in game no such luck.any suggestions?

From what I have been told is that the Wiimote doesn't work on sense roms, what rom are you using?

Yea the Wiimote doesnt work with Sense because of the Bluetooth Stack, anyway I am running CM7 Nightly 22 and am using a Wiimote with MotionPlus built in, I believe this may be the problem but who knows.

[Q] Stream all computer audio to android device

Is there any devolper who wants to devolpe that kind of app that can stream all computer audio to the android device?
//Modstar
I'd love an app like that!!
Perhaps a bluetooth profile for A2DP, and then get the desktop OS to connect to it and use it as the audio device.
Have you used audio galaxy?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
I use AudioGalaxy to stream from my computer to my phone whenever I'm not at home, and I use 2player as a DLNA streamer when I am home. Both are pretty much the greatest applications in the world, in my opinion.
What i mean is that if i play a game like HoN or GTA IV or playing music on my computer i want all audio to come out to my android device like an wireless transmitter and reciver.. So i just can plug my galaxytab or desire hd to my stereo and hear my computer audio/sound.

Controllers for tablets

Hi there,
Is it possible to make a phone a controller for your tablet? I have a galaxy s2 and galaxy tab 10.1 - it would be great to be able to use my phone as the wireless controller...
Has this already been achieved? If so, please point me in the right direction...!
Sent from my GT-P7510 using XDA Premium App
You'll have to provide more more information than that. What do you want to control?
Otherwise it's just like saying "I want a transport vehicle" and it could be anything, car, bike etc. You get my point

What I figure Freddie means is what I've been looking for as well - to use your Android phone as a gamepad or otherwise for your Android tablet, similar to the SNES HD app for the iPad:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlcigMvkkoU
There is great support for exterior controllers like the Wiimote being used for emulators and games on phones and tablets, but porting this method of using your phone as the controller itself is a great way for people who don't already own/don't want to buy another accessory.
I would assume it'd be similar to broadcasting your phone as a BT keyboard, and then using various button mappings fullscreened to create the gamepad. If an Android phone can receive input from a device, why couldn't it broadcast it?
Indeed!
Why use a gamepad when i could use my phone!

IR Blaster + Xbox 360!

Hey there guys,
Just a quick one in case anyone doesn't know, but when setting up a remote on the TV app, on cable box, if you scroll down to Microsoft and use that option, it allows you to use your TV remote to control your Xbox!

Very cool!! Thanks for the heads up
Nice one, very good info. . . .
That's cool. Is it better than Smartglass?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Smart glass connects through WiFi and has deep integration in the Xbox. This simply allows you to power on/off your Xbox, navigate around and select stuff in Netflix etc. Perfect for me as I have an Xbox and tv in the bedroom which is mainly used for dvds and Netflix.
smartglass is different and has many more features, but having one remote to turn your tv and Xbox on is amazing.
Works a treat thanks don't even need to leave the šofa to turn on the Xbox now lolz

Strange mine doesn't have that maker available?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
HTC must publish a website for IR so we can find updates and contributions for many devices like xbox360,DSLR,TVs...
I guess it works for Media Center receiver too?

I'll make a quick video showing you what I did if you like? Might just be in the wrong place?
For me its really useful because my xbox in the bedroom doesn't have a wireless controller and the tv remote is a bit knackered.
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pJcYKzO0Pk
Thanks dude. Was wondering if this was possible. Sadly I did buy a remote for my xbox last month! But now I've got my HTC One, don't need to leave the sofa now! (if the remote is out of reach!)
I do not see Microsoft on my list

Wish it'd work with ps3.

It's not in the TV list. Once you finish setting up the TV it'll take u into the Cable box list which is where Microsoft is listed

Fantastic, great tip! Hate wasting my controller's battery just for watching TV, and after a long programme having to connect the controller again before I can do anything. Thanks!
