help me please!!
ciao

try to wipe and factory reset before you flash the rom

i forget to tell that i do every wipe before every flash..

i have heared of a bootloop bug when you flash the wrong gapps
try to flash the latest gapps if you havent already
http://goo-inside.me/gapps/

i don't know what appen, but i leave the phone without battery for a while, and it boot up correctly... now try to restart with finger crossed

Let it reboot if it happens, and, skip all the Google Setup. (i.e. - do it later, once the ROM boots up fully) It happens on some of the builds.

it reboot correctly and i skip the setup..i hope that i don't need to flash again..thanks

No, you don't need to reflash. Now, simply open Android Market, and you will be able to enter your Google ID again, and this time, it will not reboot,.

Nexus one stuck on boot screen

I unlocked the bootloader, then I flashed the recovery image and everything was alright. When I tried to flash CyanogenMod 5.0 it aborted halfway, and when I went to reboot all that I am getting is the start up image and that's it.
I tried factory reset, wiping the memory through the recovery image and nothing is happening.
If anybody has any ideas, please share.
bricked.=p
If your getting into the Recovery, it sounds pretty impossible you bricked it. Even dieing half way through Cyan's Rom shouldnt be a major issue. I think i read that dieing during a radio update can cause problems(or SPL), but a rom shouldnt
Try this again...
1) Boot into Recovery. Bootloader - > Recovery
2) Wipe the phone
3) Flash Cyan's Rom
4) Restart
5) If it works, re-boot into the recovery and make a NandBackup....
can you boot into bootloader? if so theres no way youre bricked.
I can't flash anything, it keeps coming up installation aborted.
BIG BREAKTHROUGH!!
I was finally able to install Cyan and now it says installation complete.
Now what?
Thanks for the help guys, I reloaded Cyan's mod for the tenth time and it finally installed and it works like a dream.
The only problem is I don't have the 3G on my top bar, just an H. What does that mean?
H is a good thing. Just showing you are on the fastest network. Glad to hear you are working now
Sean-

a factory reset is not the same as a wipe from recovery menu afaik (if you mean a factory reset from bootloader (white screen))
boot into clockworkmod recovery and perform a wipe data/cache there, then flash it
some even experience problems with running the wipe from rom manager, so do it in the recovery menu instead
Thanks for the help. I tried what you said above and downloaded Sky raider 2.0 again. renamed it to update.zip then rebooted into clockwork. I did the wipe data/cache but sadly, I get the same results. I cant even get through the setup after the rom is installed. screen is unresponsive to my touch, but seems to have a mind of its own. I had best luck with CM 6 test 8 i downloaded from ROM manger, that ran for a day before starting to screw up.

NexusHD2-CM9 broken!

Hey Guys!
I'm a bit new here, but I have register to become an answer to my question which I haven't found yet.
I've flashed my HD2 with tytung's "NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9 V1.0" (with task29, radio reinstalled, hspl reinstalled, maglrd reinstalled & cwm reinstalled).
the problem is: after minutes of bootscreen I have to enter my Pin, I do.
There is given the text "Unlocking SIM" , while "he" do so, de screen turns black and I have to enter my Pin again and again. Sometimes he simply accept and go on, but then many process' crash! Process' like: android.process.acore , google.process.gapps, com.android.phone android keyboard ..
they all crash in a row and latest then I have to enter my Pin again.
Could anybody help me?
did you try to reflash the rom?
go to recovery, wipe data/factory reset & advanced -> wipe dalvik cache
after that, install the rom again.
I also have the issue that my phone stucks at the htc screen...i wait for 20 minutes now but nothing happens...i'll try to flash a bigger partition layout magldr...
Try the SD build
Hi, too bad you are having difficulty.
I am running the SD version of the same OS with do problem.
Two options:
Try the SD build:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437463
Just remember to rename the Folder to ICS, then tell MAGLDR to boot from SD / ICS
or try going back to a stable ROM, remove all PIN codes, then reinstall CM9
Good Luck
i have already removed all pin codes.
also i tried a full wipe with task29 and used the 250mb system partition because i read something about bad nand blocks.
earlier i tried to boot some sd builds that were made for boot with magldr, but without any success...if i go to the selection of the android sd folder in magldr it just pushes me back to magldr main menu :/
my hd2 is difficult to understand because it doesn't work as others do >.<

First: thanks, that there are people which consider to be with me with my problem
yea, i've already reflashed the rom (felt like 20 times!) ..
and I've actually tried to install no sd-version, I kept it as a loophole. ^^
Situation now: I've simply ignored the messages that every important process is going to die and just clicked the failures away. after that he wants to reboot, to get access to the mobile network --- I click "Reboot" und have now a Bootloop ...
i also tried another ics rom without cm9 and got the bootloop at the first boot...
I dont understand why no rom is running on my phone...
So guys !
I've done it ;D
Have simply used the sd-version and it works great!
@RichieGKB: If you have any question to the sd-version, message me !
Good post Charles, it helps me.
Seems to helps you too guys. Don't forget to hit thanks button!
i tried the full wipe and also a larger system and cache partition to get the rom working, but it still doesn't on nand.
I'm downloading the sd version at the moment, but this can't be the solution for the future :/
maybe i have to wait for newer versions of this rom
ah I solved the problem.
I didn't change the system partition layout in recoverys .cfg file. I didn't know that i have to do this because i thought it would be enough to install another version of magldr
@weedstar: Thats not the problems solution.. next time try to fix permissions via CWM. Sd version is slow. Nand is better.

[Q] BOOT LOOP CM7.1 please help me. what shall i do?

please help me.. im using CM7, i wanted to have an android market app, savad anjillath from facebook gave me this site "goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-hdpi-20100817-signed.zip" i installed it and rebooted my phone... now it is in boot loop at the cyanogen 7 logo.. i dont know what to do now.. please help me....
That's a gapps zip from 2010... It's like 1.5 year old. That's 20 in Android years ^^. I think it was meant for CM6.
Things you could do:
Go to custom recovery, Wipe data/cache, Install latest CM7 rom(not necessary but recommended => latest changes are kind-a cool), Install the gapps for gb(gingerbread): http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
Another thing is to install adb, learn to use it a bit, and try to delete all the files from the zip. That way you don't lose your apps/data. Or make a script in the zip that deletes all these files. It's just listing everything.
Or make a nand-backup fist, buy the paid titanium backup app. The latest version can recover apps from a nand backup (I tought)
But it you don't necessary need any data, just go with option one.
u can try to enter the customer Recovery, execute wipe, and then reflash your rom
first just try to restart ur phone after pulling off ur battery .. happens to me all the time .. 2nd time always works

Do a data factory reset and reboot. If this does not fix it try a fresh download and reinstall the rom.
Yep. Sounds like a "wipe/format" issue. Somebody hasn't done their "Data" wipes and formats. (because they don't want to re-install their apps)
Generally you can get away with this when coming from a previous recent release of a rom, but coming from a different rom, you should always follow the wipe/format steps.
In RA Recovery;
Wipe Data/Factory Reset (includes format)
Wipe cach's (includes format)
Wipe android.secure (optional)
System generally gets formatted on rom install.
.
Ok i thought i did that but maybe i did not, But i will try it but the only problem now is it wont let me get into recovery it acts like it wants to try to get into recovery but then gives me the droid with exclamation. I already did a hard reset and it is a fresh install of the software. I want to completely reset it but when i try it just says i am going back to android v 3.2.1 and i am still unable to get into the recovery by pressing vol down+power. Also i tried to use the acer recovery app and it says that my device is not supported. Even tho it is a acer a500. I am lost i would like to get the table back to the original state then try to get it rooted. any ideals?

Well, in this case, it sounds like your Flexreaper install destroyed your recovery image. Probably messed with the bootloader, as it is becoming more frequent these days. Basically there are at least 2 versions of it, one for ICS bootloader, and the other for HC bootloader.
If you can get your Wifi working, you can probably run the AcerRecovery from the market, and try installing a recovery image. If not, here is the author's thread where you can download it and install through a file manager.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1588189
Should be able to get a CWM recovery back. If you get devblk errors, try installing RA Recovery.
Also, make sure you are still rooted.
And from what I remember, the recovery app will tell you that it's incorrect version, but I've read where it says to ignore it. Seems this happens when coming off the ICS Beta's.
ok
I got the tablet to go back to its original software(not rooted) out of box. But when i try to load into the recovery still tells me the same thing and will not allow me to get into the recovery. And when i try to use acer recovery it still says that error message even with the link you provided me. I was able to gain Wifi back and i can update just unable to flash a Rom or root. I don't know what to do i think what you said makes sense about the boot loader being fubared. But i dont know what to do to change that.
There is nothing in the Flexreaper rom that changes the bootloader.
It will boot or it won't,
Same with recovery , there is not one thing that will replace or change your recovery.
You posted that you didn't even know that you did a full wipe or not, so maybe you flashed something that you didn't know?
I flash rom everyday for testing and never had big problems with my test roms.
The problems you described in your first post are all caused by not following installation instructions.
If I was you restore your tablet to stock and start all over again.
