Before my Iconia I had a mid816. On that I was able to play monopoly classic. Since I've cracked the screen on that. Anyone have or know of any version of monopoly working on the A500?
Did Monopoly come pre-installed? Or was it even the real Monopoly game or just a generic version named something else? I am not seeing a Monopoly game in the Market at all, so I am, thinking it was a proprietary game on your previous tab, or is not really called Monopoly...?

Hey..
does any1 know of any good multiplayer games for wm phones?
i too would like some multiplayer games! if anyone has come across any please post em up
i have two right now, attached .cabs!
1. chess game that supports multiplayer.
2. POCKET UNO supports upto 4 players! (i love this game)
I'm looking for bluetooth multiplayer games. I have never seen any bluetooth game for WM. It would be very nice to play with my girlfriend, since I gave her my old HTC Touch phone.
yea that would be pretty cool! ive seen a couple on the marketplace that allows u to play multiplayer via bluetooth. i would buy one of those if i had any friends with a winmo phone.. all my retarded friends have jumped on the iphone bandwagon. this is why im on the forums trying to prove to them that my phone outranks theirs. might not be because of games or apps, but more because of the ability to customize your phone and actually be different. sorry for the vent, i just dont like people who think the iphone is the best thing since sliced bread..
but back on topic, i believe i saw a checkers game on marketplace that supports bluetooth multiplayer.
ive attached a marketplace cab incase u dont have winmo 6.5!
Bejeweled is not there but they do have substitutes. I
played the generic version and it was horrible. It felt too slow and respond. I then tried to look for scrabble and again could find it. Is it because of licensing issues or something else. Is there any update when most of these popular games will be coming to android?

Popcap (Bejeweled) announced last year they would be releasing Android games. They've been quiet ever since.
I see a lot of variation of this style of game on the Market. Papaya Free says it has Bejeweled as part of it's package.
EA did release Scrabble but them pulled it from the market...no reason why that I could find. Suppoedly you cna do some trick with Firefox to make EA believe you have the proper phone...but the game costs $7...mighty pricey.
Crosswords for Android is a close "open source" variation of Scrabble.

click on the magnifying glass icon on the bottom right of the phone.then type android bejeweled app. Click on the android app marketplace link. Bejeweled should be there for 1.99 I think.try that and see where that gets you.
Real Football 2011 from gameloft just came out, but along with many other gameloft games I can't get it on my AT&T Nexus One...
Anyone know a way around this?
Well, the easiest way to get around this is to fake your phone model... maybe try purchasing it from your PC... one minus point is if you land up with a game with actually does not work on the Nexus One wish GL would at least give trial versions to test)...
I don't like Gameloft games because they choose to avoid the market and most of their games have horrid support. Plus games don't work 100%.
I want to say that if you load up the mobile gameloft website from your phone you should be able to gain access to it. I remember there being some sort of screwy workaround that I used for getting Hawx and a few others.
Hi
I really want to buy this Game for the transformer but not sure if it will work,
In the market it does say Motorola XOOM - Scaling issues,
So does that mean the transformer will also have the same issue,
Also if I buy the game for the transformer does that also mean I can install it onto the galaxy or would I have to buy it again...
Cheers
If IT Has problems with the Xoom then it Will probably Have problems with the Transformer. IF you buy anything from the market then You can play it On any Device as long as your logged into the Same Gmail Account and Its Bought From the Android Market. If you mean Gameloft then You can Download it as many Times as you want from an online account I believe but Idk If it only Gives you a single Version of it. I.E If you Buy a Xoom Version You Might only get Xoom Versions of the Apk. Im Not Shure on that.
I have the game and it runs fine with no scaling issues in game or in the menus (two company logos aren't scaled properly when the game first loads). There are some touch issues in the menus but the game itself controls fine and will work.
Cheers,
Going to buy it today....
but the game is really lame, save the money for other things
Just got the game and works great,
It might not be everyone's cup of tea but I like it..
Cheers for the help...

Sadly Splinter Cell has been removed by Gameloft in fact almost all android Gameloft games from that era have been removed. There has been no update to the titles to even work on modern devices, like the powerful Nexus 7 and it's second incarnation (my favorite tablet BTW it has the brightest screen and most DPI and best colors over any any hand held device. Full 1080p). But a side gem idk if your a id software fan but Darkplaces (a modern Quake engine that been being built for years now) has been ported to android and iOS. Darkplaces allows Quake games to be played with normal mapping and full dynamic lighting. You can even load alot of mods (smoke, fog, rain, particle flame efx) you might have lying around straight into the engine. The author has also ported Doom 3 which looks very nice on the Nexus 7 2013 ed. And FYI in case you didn't know with the Nexus 7 (both versions) you can grab a OTG cable for 5 dollars on amazon and play your games with a Xbox controller, and the Nexus 7 2013 ed you can plug it into your HD TV and use it as a monitor. Makes me want to throw my Xbox out in the street. Darkplaces and Doom 3 can found on the Google market place. No Splinter Cell has had me bummed for a few years now. But hopefully this will provide some pretty entertainment in its place.

Alternatively there is "Onlive" for android let's you play new high end games on any android device. I use it on my old 2010 phone. Its like stream but instead of downloading game files it simply streams the audio and video to your device. I can't remember if Splinter Cell Conviction is still one of its playable games but it was at one time. You can download it for free and even watch other players live around the world playing titles like Batman or Darksiders. Keep in mind you have to pay for subscription but feel free to see if they have titles you like play demos to check to see if your internet can handle the data. Cause you need a good solid net connection if your looking for Xbox or PlayStation quality graphics. Hope these post help ya out.
