how do I upgrade my v021 froyo beard can not upgrade because there is always a fitting memorial ClockworkMod Recovery always fails how to cope with it ..?

[Q] Very Big Problem

Hello ,
I'm in really big trouble. I just wiped /system /data and /cache from xrecovery. I thought I would be able to clean install new android but now my phone only shows 'Sony Ericsson' boot screen . My phone is Sony X8. I'm really terrified right now. I couldn't think anything. I think now i'm dead. Please help me !!!!!

You need to download "Sony ericsson update service". Then follow the instructions. It will reset your phone and install the official software (android 2.1)

Stay calm, try flashtool or seus, then everything will be okay.
This is not a big problem, relax, calm down....

Can I use update service of sony even if i 've rooted my phone. Because my phone is already rooted.

Just relax,dawnload seus from sony ericsson,fleshtool or etc and evrething will be fine

You have to downgrade first. You can do that and then root/recovery w flashtool.
Spend some research time in the Development forum.

you have to follow the steps exactly as is in doomlords guide. yuou need the gb ready flashtool or the newest availiable

Connect cable straight after vibration and click root AFTER TEXT APPEARS on Flashtool.
If no text appears, you will need to install drivers, in other words just download SEUS or PC Companion to get the necessary drivers.
Then retry.

Do you know how to get into xrecovery?just hit back button a couple of times when on sony ericsson screen.

Look,we are talking about x8 here because he is flashing his friends phone.and I was here on x8 forum long before you knew about this phone.

solutions for that:
1) flash the stock ROM using the flashtool
2) Root it again, install busybox, and install this
this will help you to install xrecovery again
3) boot into xrecovery, factory reset / wipe data
4) flash the rom you want~

take out the battery and insert it back after 30 seconds..turn on your phone and press back button when "sony ericsson' pop out..

Problem flashing kernel.

I have a problem trying to flash a new kernel. I'm currently on android GB 2.3.7 with DoomKernel GB. So I tried to update to ICS (MooDeD's ROM) but that didn't work, so I figured I had to update to the DoomKernel for ICS. I did everything right following the instructions but in the command, when I try to send the boot.img, it takes FOREVER. Literary 1 hour, and it isn't even done yet! I checked if it was recognized with the test command and it was responding so idk what I'm doing wrong. Please help.
I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, MooDeD GB 2.3.7, and DoomKernel GB, PC is Windows Vista.

Restarted your P.C, rebooted your Phone?

On my old pc the android sdk didn't work so i just used flashtool. You can use it to flash a kernel too. Just select fastboot mode and then flash kernel.

Did that, even tried another usb port. Its finished now, took over 2 hours. Don't want to go through this pain again so plz help. Can flashtool flash .img?
EDIT: Oh great, after I updated my kernel to a ICS one the MooDeD ROM still doesn't work. Any idea how to fix this?

I'm on my new ICS kernel now, after a few hours ._. But when I install MooDeD's ICS ROM it still doesn't boot. I just get a black screen after the kernel logo.

Flash a clean sony stock ics rom. Don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik cache and try again.

Problem is, I can't get into my sd card now. So I won't be able to copy the file to my sd card

I mean a .ftf file that you can flash with flashtool.
