Cm9 discussions thread

Since cm9 is released i think this should be the discussions thread tokeep the development threat for DEVELOPMENT
Cm9 isn't released. Maybe lookup the word released.
Unless ofcourse I missed something

what he means its alpha released, the other guy is thinking stable release i think...
the main thing (other than cdma support) that i'm looking at is camera support...
I think it will take a while for a working camera, it works on no ICS ROM for now...

I was speaking to one of my old friends over at the X8 corner and he was telling me that the Play's gingerbread camera libs can be patched and customized to work on ICS

Love the "few hours/days"

I'd assume fxp to start a thread on this.
It's on pre alpha so this thread isn't even necessary. On top of that using the Dev thread for complains and issues is better as the makers get notice of what's wrong.

This video has been posted around the forums countless times. Search for similar topics next time you think "gotta post this on xda quickly. I'm the first because obviously nobody on xda must've seen/heard about it."

Damn, that blue S3 looks sexy! Regretting the white
Closed, there is a thread here discussing this, along with many others.
Search before posting, and its always better to post in a relevant thread rather than making a new one.

Motor ics

Can or will there be a rom of the ics version of Motorola's application platform
Sent from my DROIDX using xda app-developers app
Please ask any questions in the general forum, thanks!
Unfortunately, Motorola will not be providing an update to Ice Cream Sandwich for the Droid X; however, there are several ICS ROMs for the Droid X, if you're willing to root and flash those ROMs.
It's really easily actually.

As posted above, questions should be posted in the General forum. The Development forums are for development releases and support only, not questions.
Thread moved.
Shut the **** up little *****

Read this thread. It explains the difference very well.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1219612
Edit: saw that nerdo posted this thread already. What exactly don't you understand? It seems very clear that Original Development is original while Android Development is tweaks or modifications to someone else's work.
