Yes. I've tried it. It's very nice. Also, snesoid and gensoid are beautiful on the Tab.
So far though, I can't get the Wii controller to work. It would be nice if we can get an external controller to work (Like the N900).
Have you tried any other Psx4Droid games?

I've tried:
FF7. (Works, no problem)
FF8. (Works, sound glitches a bit, but otherwise no problem)
Tekken 2. (Very Slow)
Twisted Metal. (Crashes)
Street Fighter Alpha 3. (Works, a tad bit slow though)
Marvel vs Capcom (Works)
I wanna try Silent Hill and Resident Evil 3 when I get a chance. they should work.
How does FF8 work in the open world? I tried playing it on my droid 2 and it sucked...couldnt even move.
just to give more detail to the question: is the problem with some of the game related to PSx software or the phones power?
E.g., FF8 in the world is awful, but will that be fixed with the new Tegra2 tabs or is this something that needs to be optimized in the PSX emulator?
i WANT Bushido Blade on this device LOL
I've just got my Iconia after switching from an Advent Vega, and I'm rooting about the net for a microHDMI adapter.
In the meantime though, I'd like to know if the Iconia suffers the same problem as the Vega did: does using HDMI slow down the graphics ever so slightly?
On my Vega, hooking up HDMI incurred a performance penalty, and if you were playing games/emulators it got pretty noticeable; in fact in emulators like FPSE it actually rendered the games unplayable, whereas before I had to turn on the FPS limiter if HDMI was disconnected.
So chaps and chappettes, does your Iconia slow down at all when your telly/monitor is hooked up?

I have used the hdmi out alot and I have not noticed any slow down at all. Google earth is really cool over hdmi.
Groovy, thanks. That could be the difference between the Harmony board and whatever the Iconia uses.
Is it fluid with games too? No slowdown at all?
Me
For me, the screen resolution is buggy.
It only shows like 80% of the A500 screen.
It's fluid yeah but the resolution glitch is making me angry.
3.1 with 1080p will be nice,
Is ther a list of working games anywere had a look but no luck. I like playing need for speed, brothers in arms most gameloft games are these compatibly with vega as i see it only has 4 point accell might cry iff not was all set on purchasing tommorow
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
There are some games that work well on the Vega.
First off check the market for the Nvidia Tegra Zone app. This will list all Tegra 2 compatible games which is at the heart of our Vegas.
Also Need for speed will work as long as you get hold of the Honeycomb version other wise its full of graphic issues.
As for Gameloft games you need to look for versions created for the LG P990 Optimus 2x as this is a Tegra 2 baaed mobile phone. Not all games will work but most will.
Have fun.
Jason.
Most of good info is on the Modaco forum. Paul (Admin/Founder) did a really good job with it's Custom Rom Kitchen for the Advent Vega.

And here are some more games, but the first url should be sufficient.

gangstar
NOVA 2 XOOM ACER SONY S1 TABLET
AND MORE
NOVA HD doesn't work perfectly on 3.2 and 3.1 either.
Trying to fit in the game to screen size using new 3.2 feature force the game to close.
Could be awesome if there was any fix for that or a version to tablet.
Post your favorite tablet optimized games with screenshots and price
Acer Iconia A500 Rooted Running Flexreaper R7 ICS 4.0.3
there is a tegra zone app that does keep a list of tablet games even has a price and screen shots. Also android police does quarterly stories about tablet apps/games just go check out their site

I use google reader and droid comic viewer the most, but I still like angry birds, dead space, dungeon hunter 2, spiderman, and samurai 2: vengeance.
for music, I use Iheart and Pandora.
