Hello forum members. Since I can not write in the subject CM7 due to "less than 10 posts", I write to a common theme. Now I use the new CM7 from 9/10/11, but it eventually starts to work bad accelerometer, delayed action, it is impossible to play, flips the display after 5 seconds. Kernel is the standard, tried franco kernel, same problem.
How and what to eliminate the problem?
P.S. sorry for the bad translation, I am Russian, English I know is bad, so I translate through Google Translate
As far as I know this is a bug and only Geno/developers can fix this...Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for now. Try installing Oxygen, that's slightly better when it comes to sensor lag...
there's a fix in the cm7 or franco kernel thread (can't remember, worked for me)
but on my last CM7 accelerometer worked fine...
So, the problem was solved by replacing this file forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17695565&postcount=846 , now works nice

Hi,
I recently flashed my HTC HD2 with the nand Android 2.2 (HSPL is 2.08.000)
I'm experiencing problems with the G sensor. Sometimes the screen won't flipp within the Browser market place mail client ect. The only app where everythng works fine is Teeter.
Do I have to instell a bug fix? Or is it a known problem with no fix available?
Thanks
Cuerly
It's hard to say without knowing which build you flashed. depending upon which kernel you are using, you might be able to calibrate the sensor.
I suggest that you ask this question in the relevant development thread... once you have 9 more posts under your belt.
Not being able to post on the Development sections cramps on my style a bit, but I have a couple of questions:
* First of all, I am still on Oxygen, do you guys think there's any good reason to switch? I like Oxygen a lot and apart from a couple of issues (see below) I've been very happy with it... Will dzo ever show up again and merge the new drivers into his release?
* Have the camera and GPU driver from the official 2.3 been ported to any other ROM?
* I've been seeing a lot of ICS related ROMS in Development as of late, is there a fully functional ICS ROM yet? What's stopping us, since it seems almost every other device is making some progress with it (i.e: having hardware acceleration enabled, radios working, etc.)?
Problems with Oxygen:
* Light Sensor behaves strangely: for example, with auto brightness enabled, turning on or off the light in my room makes no change in screen brightness. If I put the device close or directly under a lightbulb it will only then begin to change. I can confirm this with some sensor testing apps. Is there any way to calibrate the light sensor?
* Microphone acts strange: I have never seen anyone report this, but when I connect headphones, then try to use for example voice dialing or voice commands it will not work (wait forever) or simply give an error. If I disconnect the headphones after I tried to use voice it will never work again unless I reboot. If I connect headphones, never use voice, and then disconnect them and use voice it will work as it should
* Signal Strength very irregular: I live in a area with difficult reception, but signal strength is insane, sometimes is goes from 0 to full bars like no big deal
* Camera's FPS very jumpy (new drivers will fix this?)
* No access to internal storage: I knew this going in, but still...
* Flash videos sometimes green and overlapping the screen. This happens with both the YouTube app and any video player that can play FLV. It only happens from time to time and I can't reproduce it.
I went straight from stock (TMN Portugal) to Oxygen, never messed around with any other ROM (I tried CM7 for half an hour or so) but these little things start to bother me, plus it breaks my heart to know that the camera and GPU could be much smoother just by using different drivers. It also scares me that Huawei disabled the standard method of installing Recovery and rooting, so I'd prefer not to upgrade to the official ROM right away. So, is it worth to change ROM at this point? Can you help me with any of my problems with Oxygen?
Hi!
I tryed "all" ROMs I found here in XDA, Oxygen for me is not enough, it just lacks of "options" I love the Cyanogen Settings, you can do a lot of customizations there. Im on custom ROMs for 5 months now, never had a problem with the phone itself. Strange rebooting, camera stopped working and drainage of the battery does NOT count in here. I would suggest you try CM for more than a half hour since - in my opinion - it is the best. I hate the original Froyo, because it lacks of customization. So MIUI is not an option for me, it is just to simple. I was thinking I know all about flashing, but yesterday I just bricked my u8800, simply because I did not notice the + on the end of the official 2.3 update and installed update for u8800+.
My suggestion is, to follow guides here on XDA (they are excellent) and try all the ROMs, and see which one suits you best.
I'm also very happy with Oxygen, I'm still on r1 and have no major issues at all, so thank you very much dzo!
But I hope for the future that dzo will continue to update this rom so we can get better drivers for camera and other small fixes. It looks like the official rom will never be an stable option for us...
Mach III
Hi !
I have a Defy for more than a year now and I finally decided to flash it. So now, i'm using it with miui rom (2.3.7a).
But since i've flashed it, i have some problems with the camera. I can't take picture in "macro", when i'm too close from the things i want to take in picture, the image is fuzzy. The camera don't focus anymore, it's very annoying because i take a lot of picture wit my phone..
Is someone here who has already had this problem? can i fix it and how?
Thanks for your help and excuse me for my bad english, i'm french ^^
I have the same problem with this update, but my camera is locked in macro mode.
I have tried android 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, CM7, and now i'm using MIUI but the camera is almost useles...
Hi !
I see that i'm not alone with my camera problem. ^^
I tried to change my rom this week end, I installed cm7 but sadly, the problem is still here, and nobody seems to know how to solve it. Could we install an other "camera application" or something like that, could it solve the problem or do you tqink it will be the same?
thank you!
People who didn't try this, just give it a chance.
My Experience:
Everything Works, only minor bug.
Performance is Better than any gb Rom, I've tested it.
Finger Print Works, yes it Works Perfectly On my phone with this Leaked Kernel.
Camera was Crashing at 1080P Video Capture, and Camera Flash was not Working at the Time it Should.
I downloaded Camera MX, this both Bug also got fixed.
I have a ICS Rom with Working HW Acceleration, FingerPrint, Camera everything.
There's Minor Bugs like "1 bar phone signal and 4g icon" if you are international user, but as they said you can fix it with Radio Rom. I didn't cz it's just an indicator Problem.
Sometimes phone Wakes-up 1 second late, at this time I scan my finger anyway it works at the time it should.
I say this;
Who didn't tried "that kernel" as I do cz of error reports from Peopğle , Just give it a chance maybe you are the lucky one.
Sir, why not post in the thread of said ROM or utilize the support thread for this said ROM, instead of opening/creating a new thread. Thank You.
Hello there.
I'm proud new user of Nexus 6p but I already have a problem. I updated it to 7.1.1 and rooted the device. Now chrome constantly crashes (Aw snap problem) and also facebook sometimes show strange image.
Screenshots attached.
Anybody else have this problem?
i love my 6p and am also a proud owner of this beast.
but i also have troubles with my display, it is abit similar to yours, i have occasional graphical glitches and it always freaks the hell outta me.
i hate those glitches , i had a split screen bug on my Moto Nexus 6 as well and using a specific custom kernel called Lean kernel always solved that problem for me.
but currently nothing fixes this on my nexus 6p , except the 6p of mine thankfully does not have that split screen bug but instead it has some other occasional hiccups with graphic glitches.
and i think it is because of the cold temperatures, but i am not so sure.
Cold temperatures can't be a problem with mine couse i work inside so there is no cold
I tried with elementalX kernel and the problem is still here.
chrome gives me the most graphical glitches , but it does not happen often.
it can still get annoying , and i also have a keyboard issue with chrome (been months now) the keyboard issue is, i cant delete characters i have enetered in the search fields of whatever website i am at.
like when i press backspace to wanting to delete words it just wont do it, annoying bug with chrome i am sure of it, as i have tried other browsers and they dont do that with the keyboard backspace not deleting characters.
maybe we should both switch browsers, but the thing is i always go back to chrome :l
hope your issue gets solved too, maybe try a custom based nougat rom and you wont see that issue with chrome anymore (as for the fb app, it is a battery killer i would advice to just use the chrome app to open up your fb account).
Tried with firefox but the problem is still there.
Will try and get myself different rom for weekend and test it.
So you say that facebook is battery killer. Thanks for the info.
Update:
Installed Pure nexus rom - problem still there
Installed CM 14.1 - problem still there
I have no idea what is cousing this problem. Is it possible that the problem is hardware related and not software?

Click to collapse
Navigate to Settings/Developer Options/Webview Implementation then switch to "Chrome." See if you still notice these issues.

Nope I think your display driver is glitching
I'm taking it back to the store today and they will replace it with the new one they said. Hope i'll have more luck this time
