[Q] Network Problem - HD2 General

Friends ... I have a problem with the HTC-HD2, was on Windows but I put the Android ... and now the network is very difficult ... loses network ... what could be a problem ... Thank you in advance

What is your radio version?

How Can I see that?

Restart your phone. You will see green HTC logo on white background, after a second or two, three lines full of numbers will appear. Radio version is the first one (that "R 2.xx.5x.xx").
Also, is your Android on the SD (you have to run haret.exe from WinMo) or have you got rid of WinMo and installed it on NAND?

I am having the same issue. I am running from NAND. There are no lines of numbers at the HTC screen to find radio. I remember updating my radio to put custom Winmo 6.5 roms some time ago. Is there another way to find your radio? Thanks for your time.

On Android:
Settings -> About Phone -> Baseband version (blah.blah..._2.xx.5x.xx)
And tell me if your HD2 is a TMOUS one (T-Mobile logo over the screen + coloured buttons) or not, then we can talk about changing radios.

Help :(

Hey, i tried a couple of android roms but when i press haret i either get a black screen which in it is written jumpin to kernel with small white fonts or the screen fades away :/ .... can any 1 help me out here? am i doing anything wrong?
any1?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would say try reformatting your sd card and try again.
For me, I had no desire to run WinMo except as a means to booting Android. So, I put HSPL3 on and radio 2.11 and a barebones WinMo ROM made for booting into Android. I then flashed Hyperdroid 1.5 and I have almost no problems.
Remember to run Clrcad before Haret to ensure soundy goodness.

lol, the black screen with white writing is normal, its rebboting into linux.
If it fades away and doesnt load into anroid then I thin that down to your radio version as I had same prob when I first got my hd2, You need to update your radio to at leats 2.10 I think. Im on 2.12 now.
yeah, it's a radio-related problem
anything with 2.10.50.08_2 in it will work even 2.07.50.08_2 will work, but its not recommended
but with 51 will NOT work
Yes change your radio to 2.10.50 at least. By doing this, you will void your warranty.

[Q] Is my HD2 bricked? What can I do?

Hi there everyone!
I installed a NAND Android Rom Dl Desire Z or something... everything was working, but suddendly phone just crashes, and nothing but a white screen appear as soon as HD2 powers on.
The only thing i'm able to do is to go to 3 color mode (hardspl) - but all attempts to flash a wm6.5 rom failed because customruu failed in the middle of the process. freezes at 0% and then appears a communication error in the application.
Conclusion: as soon as phone turns on, only a white screen appears, with nothing written in it.
i've searched for 2 hours in xda and google, nothing similar came...
i've reflashed hardspl3 - sucessfull, but nothing changed, white screen still appears.
i've tried to flash other roms but always freezes at 0%, and appears communication error in customruu application.
I don't know what to do :/
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thank you very much!!
If you can still get into bootloader and you do have hspl installed, try flashing the winmo rom via sd card.
Will do!
I'll post feedback
Start flashing official 1.66(its EU, you need analog to 1024 LEO) WM 6.5 rom from HSPL, than HPSL3, radio with 576 RAM(Radio_2.15.50.14 for example), than MAGLDR112, and after these steps flash Android
Hey there!
I've tried all the methods above indicated.
Flashed a new rom through sd - update failed
Flashed a stock 1.66 Wmo rom but white screen still appears as soon as phone is turned on
Can't downgrade HSPL to 1.42 or so...
Can't do Task 29...
What can I do?
Suggestions?!
Thank you!
Hello
Im thinking maybe your motherboard as many tmous users ?.. just thinking..maybe?? I don't hope it for you
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
It doesn't make sense :S
I never had any problem with it, and it was running a new Android rom for the second time.. then I take the phone out of the pocket and it is with a white screen...
I can get to the hspl boot but it isn't proving useful...
Any thoughts?

[Q] htc hd2 is not starting after flashing

Dear expert,
I bought my htc hd2 in saudi Arabia. I had reset this phone by mistake by clicking on value added button and after that a language prob appeared. Anyways one of my friends flashed my phone with new english language rom for ease and install anderiod as well but the only issue was, when i was using internet, it was getting heat and resetart itself.
So I thought that it might be a problem of anderiod with windows, what i did was, i remove and formated the sd card first on my pc then inserted into my phone and flash it with the same rom, but after that my phone doesn't boot fully upto home screen. It does go to the boot option where we get the different strips of color like red green blue and white with some info on the screen like (note: I don't know what these were originally but now all these info are what depicted belwo)
PB81100 SS-BC, SPC-2.08.HSPL 8G XE, 0X05, CotullaHSPL 05X0 and USB
but doesn't start fully after reseting, always freez at the white screen with htc and nothing else:-(
Till now I tried different forum tips for the help, flashed many times with different rom but still the same prob, doesn't completely start upto home screen, always freezed as mention above.
Please help me, what should I do, so that my phone become as it was originally?
Which version of rom or some other software i should download and try to flash it and from where i should download the correct one.
Some of the infos of my phone are as follows,
htc hd2
SN: SH06PNW02764
Firstly, remove your serial number.
Now, if you want your device "as originally as it was" you need to download HSPL Package and remove HSPL 2.08 from your phone.
By the way, what radio are you using?
Is that a US T-Mobile version or another Vendor version !? as your serial number does not pull up a ROM selection on HTC's website !
With device correctly identified we can probably find a ROM & try flash via SD might be good option should you want HSPL ect all removed in one flashing step
Problem does sound more like quite common mainboard fault experienced by quite a few users of multiboot HD2s, but lets hope not ....

Afaik, the radio won't make a difference, but you can check it when you boot up. You'll see a carrier splash screen or the HTC screen and there will be three lines of text in the bottom left corner of the phone. The first line (next to R) is your radio version.

My boot screen also doesn't show any of this information.

I don't think you can. In android, you can find your radio by going to settings, maybe you can check wp's about screen?
Otherwise, just flash a radio and you become certain of what radio you have.
And no, radio doesn't affect anything installed. You can install it and you will not lose anything.
but dont forget, , , only radios higher than 2.08 and only radios with x.xx.50.x will allow magldr to run.
