Hi guys,
I just created a site ( http://www.galaxys2roms.com ) that lists all the current Galaxy S II roms. The site tries to give a bird's eye view of the latest updates of each rom along with links to their threads.
The rom information is automatically refreshed from the "Galaxy S II Android Development" and "Galaxy S II Original Android Development" threads every 15 minutes.
Let me know how to make it better!!
Thanks a lot for your efforts

would be great for forum members to add their rating on a star system which contributes to an overall rating of the actual ROM
thanks for your work

What you mean like the xda forum allows you to? Another lets consolidate all the roms into a list thread....is using xda developers really that hard? If some people find this helpful then fair enough, but this seems to be about as useful to me as that other thread where someone thought, for whatever reason, that we needed another thread with all the ROMs posted in it?
Bizarre.
Our Rom is called Dark Knight Edition
and the build is V2 etc...
please make that correction
Excellent. I used this on HD2. Good ideea!
Excellent summary. Would be helpful if date of ROM latest update is shown. Don't see Modaco on your list. (Edit: Also, no point having the line Sense as none of the ROMs port this over from HTC). Thanks.
excellent!! my first post.
Just one thing to say :
THANK YOU
thank you , easy to find.
it's a great ideea and it should describe a litlle the advantages and the problem a specific ROM has ,also as someone said the users should rate the ROM he used making easy to chose the one that suites your needs
can you ad twitter feed that would be awsome.
excellent! but would it be possible to sort the latest updated rom to the top ?
Thanks guys, here are my replies to your comments

- star system might cause problems, many people here doesn't like the idea of having a rating system for roms, what they are saying is that you try every rom and then decide by yourself. From my site you can check the 'Replies per day' field, that will give you a good estimate for the most active roms.
GadgetCheck
- renamed your rom to 'Dark Knight Edition'
jchoong
- Rom last update is shown in 'Updated' field. This is the last time that my site found the thread title of the rom was changed. Note that because I added most of the roms on sunday, they will have the same updated date until their thread title is changed in XDA forums.
- I removed the "sense" field as per your recommendation.
- I've added the modaco rom
ledavi
- Describing rom pros/cons would be impossible since I'll have to install and try each one of them
malavan
- I have an RSS feed instead of twitter, you can get it by clicking the RSS icon (the orange guy that is seatted and reads an RSS newspaper )
winson1984
- It is already sorted by the 'updated' field which is the last time that my site found the rom's thread title was changed. Now most of them have the same update date because I've added them at the same time. This will be sorted in a few days in which the roms will get updated.
Oh boy. loved this for HD2... thanks alot for seting it up for sgs2
Great idea. I mean great.

This is very usefull, used it all the time on HD2.
I don't know if is that important and relevant to the other users but i would like to see the Option TouchWiz: Yes/No. Like on HTC and sense. Please think about that.
Nice idea gan it make us easier to find lot of custom rom scattered in this forum, thank you for your hard work..

I think the views, posts and posts per day give you that picture already, don't need stars. They are not telling you much as well, since every user values different things in a ROM and has different things they see as essential for daily use.
Apart from that I miss Galnetmiui and the latest official Samsung stock rom in the list, as a comparison, although I realize that getting them on the list will be difficult.
The following days I'll let you know about some feature of my site that you might not know.
Today's feature is : "Replies per day"
On http://www.galaxys2roms.com , below each listed rom, there is a value named "Replies per day". This is calculated based on when the rom was first seen by the site and the total replies posted in the Rom's thread.
This value is very usefull because it can very easily show you which roms are most active (the ones with the higher "Replies per day"). Also note that you can sort the list based on the "Replies per day" value.
The above feature is found on all 4 of ROM LIST sites (for galaxy s2, htc sensation, hd2 android and evo4g)

over the last couple of months there hasn't been a new build or any other "big" news for that matter. all I see is a few kitchens and a bunch of 15 year old kids who use them to create and upload tens of ROMs (which are all basically identical and share the same functionality AND flaws).
too bad, this forum used to be the most useful source on the net for WM6 related discussions.
Aah come on, don't be like that. People over here are doing the best they can to provide custom roms (for people who don't have the knowledge of creating them themselves).
IMHO, if you don't like them you should create your own rom and use that one. Capice?
P.S.
I went back to the original O2 WM5 ROM about a month ago. no more crashes, missed calls, etc.
it just wasn't worth it.
I guess you missed the 'official' WM6 ROM that InGeNeTiCs posted here...
Use the force luke!...
I agree with both of you guy's, yes thats what I'm doing... It has become slightly irritating the amount of custom rom's being published by newbies. But guy's like Mattk. R, Zoki, Fariah and Molski are really working much harder then microsoft is even with there poor version's of roms and so called update's. Variety inspires competition. And if your not happy with any of them then do like the Wizard2203 said, grab a kitchen and start cookin!...
p.s. did u use the u.k. 2.19 radio rom? at the moment for most guys that's the only one that really works with wm6
mattk_r, Zoki, faria, Molski, mUn and few others whose nicknames I can't remember right now have my full appreciation. it's the newbies custom rom flood that is killing this forum.
I think I'll take a few months off this site and come back when the real, official WM6 (not SpAd's SuPeR OfFiCial WM6 [email protected] 3) will be available.

Don't let the screen door hit 'cha where the good Lord split 'cha. Please keep the destructive criticism to a minimum and post in the proper forum next time. Thread closed.
This post is a poll for users who like to test different ROM's to find out which one will be the "winner" over their device. Also it is used as a quick guide to find out which of the "ECLAIR ROMs" are the highest rated of the releases for users (and devs) to pick from the HUGE list of ones available rather than flashing, testing, re-partitioning, then re-flashing, etc etc.
I am not at all trying to flame, bash, or put down anyone's ROM that is less developed than others. I myself as I believe others like myself are interested in finding out which of the great ROM's released are by popular vote more exciting to use than others.
I also understand that different users have different opinions, and I as well as many others I know personally prefer totally different ROM's to use on our devices. So on that note, let everyone know of the list which ROM you believe gives you the best experience on your G1 & Mytouch3G / Dream & Magic devices by popular vote.
If I have left off any other ROM's that may be GREAT but just not posted in the poll please feel free to express the name, who it's by, and why you love it!
Thanks for your vote, I believe this will be of a lot of help to others like myself.
Hopefully this post is not considered "spam" and is more for an informational tool

Thanks for the correction, however most ROM users, and Dev's don't use the Dream/G1 discussion forum and i believe the intentions of this post would fall on deaf ears.

Yes it does, You can see where the most excitement is drawn from which is neat... The poll has multiple answers enabled which I input due to the fact that myself like probably others like more and enjoy more than only 1 ROM, So if you do like 2 out of the bunch or anything feel free to express it and vote for another
You spelled "ratings" wrong in the title.
Remember, first impressions last a life time.

True indeed, this thread is not specifically dev related, but I find it to be very helpful and informative for those of us that are flashing these roms, gives the user an better idea of what to choose from when looking for a good eclair duplicate. And most users, like I, hardly ever visit the discussion board because they are so busy checking the dev forums for new releases and updates. Therefore I find this thread to be placed in a perfectly good position due to to its purpose. MODS please consider before moving.
Yay! Somebody finally picked up my idea koo well
lets see which rom is the best
This should be reset tho every like week or so, cause constant changes happen and one gets crazy awesome over night..so you should have in the title sometimes (I reset this poll on 1/27) so ppl no to see new results...
wrong info
I use [email protected] Eclair 2.1, with spanish kernel, this is the faster 2.1 ROM for Dream and Sapphire.
I´m waiting for a new update, with N1 features and G1 Dream full working.
http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=90749
Nice Idea, this poll.
But, i think, there should be also a Poll for the Functions needed, not only which Eclair ROM...
So, for me the Killerfeatures are:
WLan/WiFi working
Bluetooth working
Exchange Active Sync working (including Contacts, Calendar, E-Mail)
Sound working (also with Navigation App like Sygic, nDrive, ...)
Not so urgent, but would be nice:
Google Sync working
Tethering WiFi/USB working
Browser with Flash Support working
Camera working (Pictures & Video)
Video working
as much as possible free system memory ;-)
Of course my respect for all developers, you do great work!
I'll try ~ all Imagereleases, but i stay at the moment @The Original Rogers (modification from kb7sqi). I think it's the only one with working complete ActiveSync/BT/WiFi/Sound.

I like your idea, it's good to always update ratings based upon how certain ROMs enhance faster or more frequent than others.
hey javolin i really think u should add jubeh's 2.1 AOSP ROM to the polls, its really something great, best eclair ROM i used to date.
the Intention ROM comes from a mature dev that doesnt act like a child. He also dosent beg for money
Ill be trying kingklick's rom next!
I don't like eclair roms anymore after I tried CSDIv1 lol....everything seems to be slow as a turtle xD

I would like to add different ROMs to the list, I don't think I can edit the poll once it's posted though.
pretty good turnout with the voting... I think these voting ratings will also help devs in a comptetive state as well... Granted there is the "sharing is caring" attitude, but I'm sure nothing feels greater then having a large fan base that supports your rom
[REF Idea]*Chef input required please* ROM Spec & content - easy choice & comparison.
Hi all HD2 XDA'ers
As we know, the "Which ROM is best" question can be so subjective that no single thread or poll can accurately help you make a decision. Also they get closed and locked pretty quick by the mods.
The users and flashers need some method of selecting ROMs, or at least prioritizing which we try first, based on their individual requirements.
In addition, and perhaps more importantly, the ROM chefs have no standardised way to illustrate or describe exactly what their ROM is like to prospective users. The many posts and threads do not enable any form of comparison.
Here's an idea for anyone willing to take up the challenge:
Unfortunately I can't dedicate the time and effort required, however I know it would be infinitely useful to many users and cooks alike. (Maybe even the mods would find it a useful way of stopping the constant questions, threads and polls of which rom!)
Create a table detailing all the specific (or generic) characteristics of each ROM. Then all chefs, new or experienced, can add their ROMs to the table.
Table would begin with high level details (for a quick overview); then possibly expand to include subtleties and very specific details.
First we would need to create a benchmark using the latest STOCK ROM. This is what the specs of cooked ROMs will be measured against. It should also define all stock apps, etc. for accurate comparisons and to assist the cooks in completing the table for their own ROMs.
For example:
ROM Chef's username
ROM Name/Version
Fully Loaded / Minimalist
Which custom apps included [free text list/csv]
Stock apps cut from Rom [free text list/csv]
What Task Manager used (if any)?
Ringtones stripped? [Y/N]
Media/Wallpapers included
Tweaks included [free text list/csv - or single row for each expected tweak]
Theme changed [description]
Manila version
Cookie/MaxManilla included? [Y/N]
WM Version [6.5 ; 6.5.3 ; 6.5.5]
SYS/XIP build
Free memory after flash (MB)
...and on... (the above is just off the top of my head - it would certainly need more thought, massive expansion and sub-divisions.)
Perhaps start as a thread, work it to a useable format, gathering feedback, comments, suggestions and requests, then move to the Wiki. I recon, if the format and fields are all dimensioned extensively and well enough, the resulting table/wiki would be adopted across all devices.
I would sinserely love to do this myself and regret just pushing the idea out there. I really hope that someone who's heart is really in it, will be willing to take this up to the benefit of all HD2 owners who wish to stick out WM6.5x despite the temptations of other devices, OS's and ports.

basically like distrowatch for linux systems? with the package/AKU/radio/Memory/custom apps on the y key, ROM name on the X key. And a blank space in the table where the package is removed?

Hmmm, what would you guys like me to do with it?...
I have contacts in the Handset teams for testing and procurement. As my particular job role is impacted by the 'quality?' of their firmware, I regularly feedback required changes and user input. Though to be honest, they're unlikely to care much about any roms other than their own customised garbage!
Have you seen the state of T-Mobile's stock ROMs? At least on Android they get OTA updates quite quickly and in-line with the HTC development branch.
However on WinMo it's the regular old story that they release a device and forget about the bugs and updates.
I work in their Network Security team and am becoming more involved in Terminal Security (devices and whether anything compromises the Network or User Data in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability). I test all new T-Mobile products, services and network features on their respective platforms.
For example on WinMo, there are the new WnW4 Widgets which run from the Opera run-time environment.
So I guess in that respect, as a favour to the community I would be willing to add my own professional input into whether there are any Security or TMO functionality concerns (from the user's perspective) with the ROMs...
My input here isn't for any professional purposes, I am just a member of the community that has worked at T-Mobile for 11 years and has ties to various contacts.
If there are any concerns for my intentions here (which I hope not) I have personally spoken to Dutty Throy about a year and a half ago to provide him with a contract deal so he could hopefully continue his great work at much less expense. I'm certain he would vouch for me...
Regards,
Hirshy
P.S. (If you read this Throy, it seems that you have since moved to Voda, so maybe T-Mob wasn't cutting it even with the deal - I suppose half-price sh!t is still sh!t !)
Yep, cant believe this hasn't been done yet, would totally reduce wasted threads
Big problem is the rate at which roms get updated.
But i see your point that it would be useful.
It's a helluva lot of work though given the number of roms.
Just off the top of my head I can think of 20roms.
And in the past chefs have been slow to submit their roms to a couple of the rom databases that already exist for swift comparison. I do think that this is better than one of those sites. You would have to get a team together and assign five to ten roms each to watch and update a spreadsheet because it's not going to work relying on the chef's input.
but it really might be useful - e.g. Topix 1.5.8 was based on 21898, but now Topix 1.5.9 is based on 21897 and without the weather function. The build might not be so relevant, but missing weather certainly is!!!
Then you also have the question as to whether to include the htcpedia-only roms in the list.

Well, I for one would gladly help with reporting from the roms i test, and it could be nice if a team where assembled to do so, because this whole forum is one big mess, where its impossible to get a little overview with all the threads and all those roms..
One thread to collect information about roms, builds, radios and so on - Would tidy up a lot! And, it would have to be a team of people who are able to stay objective, so that its not a contest of which rom is best..
If this is going to happen - pm me

no it wouldnt, people would still jump the gun and start new pointless threads
Possible way to get started
This could be accomplished using a simple spreadsheet format.
One "Mod" would be in control of the master sheet that would be posted for download.
Team members would be responsible for one or more ROM's as they choose to participate. Submitted to the Mod.
They would get the official blank spreadsheet with labels from the Mod with directions for data consistency.
Only the Mod could add/change the format upon request of the team when new apps or features arise.
Data would be kept as simple as possible in the cells. X=includes, blank=not includes, version number, etc.
Each ROM version would have a column of it's own. Versions could be limited to "last three" or whatever.
Column would have date of posting to show how current the data was.
Most of the work would be front loaded to bring us up to date.
Cut and paste would make this fairly easy for the team and the Mod.
Comparison would then be as easy as reading a chart.
The end user could delete columns and compare ROM's he is interested in.
Start of Col. A labels (add your ideas and let's see if we can come up with a consensus.)
ROM Chef
ROM Name
Version
Build
Language
Radio Required (this could be RadA, RadB, Rad C to Rad F, all picked from a list at the bottom of the sheet)
Theme
Manila version
Cookie
MaxManilla
WM Version
Free memory after flash (MB)
App name 1
App name 2
App name 3
To app infinitum
Well its an awesome IDEA, I am ready to support by all means..!!!
I have already have a site dedicated to filtering roms located at www.xdaroms.com. I am open to ideas to make rom filtering even better.
Great idea!! This is a big hold up for a lot of users: they don't have time to try 20 ROMS, test them and figure out which they want... This is also a hold up for me, I can try some ROMS, like 3 or 4 but I want to know which ROMS I would have to start with... I am not going to take a "risk" flashing HSPL and not having time to install ROMS on it and so....

+1 that was what I was going to say there is no need for this idea when there is already a comprehensive site that does it.
re xdaroms: at least for the hd2 there are quite a few chefs and roms missing. plus a distrowatch approach where you can see them all lined up is more handy with only one entry for the latest ROM visible.
This means there is room for a seperate glance-database.

Part of the problem that any website or utility we have is the fact that cooks don't update forum(XDA) or rom(xdaroms) posts correctly. Some like to overwrite old posts or roms and update the build version which causes problems for viewing a history of build versions. I do encourage all the cooks to create new rom posts for each new build. I am also going to allow cooks to import an old rom as a starting point which should make the rom posting a little less tedious.
One solution for showing a build history is to do a group by on the list showing all roms for a paticular version however it will only work if cooks update accordingly.
I don't think this issue can be easily resolved untill I get more cooks on board on xdaroms.com and we can start to formalize a rom posting technique.
Again I am open to ideas and hopefully we can come up with a really nice easy to use way to publish roms.

Hi bowpay, nice site - sorry I hadn't seen it before.
I think one of the greatest obstacles is exactly that - it is another site. Between XDA-Dev and HTCpedia, users and cooks have enough posts to contend with...
What you state above (quoted) could be mitigated by using a tabular structure instead of posts. New ROM versions would simply be appended to the table, with the old record remaining as a both a history and comparison. The old record would also be the perfect starting point for the cook to update the table (copy the column, paste as new column, update changed details). "Simples!"
I think cooks would find that easier to represent their new roms using this tabular format than constantly changing posts. The single proviso is that is must be complete and total representation of all variables that the ROM might have.
Please can any Chefs reading this, share their opinions/support and post whether they would adopt such a method for keeping users informed of their ROMs and new versions.
In any event, two things could happen:
The cooks utilize a common table for listing ROMs and versions. This would be analogous to a vendor providing a spec-sheet for their product.
Or (if not the cooks) users would create the records and constantly update the fields as they play with the ROM, use it and find the specs. This is comparable to independent reviewers detailing the specs of a product after the vendor has supplied it to them.
Either way would work and be greatly beneficial.
One field per record could even have a hyperlink for download and link to thread for images and discussion.
No objections to XdaRoms assisting the endeavour as it seems to be their speciality - it's all in the title! However for mass exposure and adoption it really needs to be on the cooks first-stop website. I think that is here...?

I hear ya I think that its going to be difficult for XDA to adopt this format due to not having things in place and being geared as a forum. I set out to help the XDA community and each day XDARoms is growing. We are going to make it easier to create forum posts by creating a BBCode Generator and our overall goal is to get cooks to post roms first at XDARoms then click the forum post generator link on a paticular rom. The post generator will generate BBCode or HTML for XDA or Pedia or any forum for that matter (Copy and paste).
Our niche is Roms so cooks will naturally want to post roms on the site because we geared the site towards cooks and it will simplify the rom posting for all websites. It may take time but I am dedicated to making rom posting as easy as possible. After all I am not just the president I am also a member (Hair club for men). lol
I really like where this post is going so any other chefs like to chime in and give us your 2cents? Much appreciated.

When I get a little more time I will take a look at the rom posting process and use some of your suggestions. The database schema is all setup to do exactly that it will just take a little time to make the UI behave.
Well...I think it can be automated... is there a command line tool to extract all such information from a nbh file ? Can someone point me to anything similar ?
My idea : After a upload, automation extracts all such information and automatically appends to the spreadsheet/online sheet...so less work for the webmaster and the chef

Don't know how you came to that conclusion but you are certainly wrong. Don't spread wrong information mate.
So, basicly, I wanted to try all available ROMs for Buzz and write a short/long review about it and give it a rating 1-5 stars. That should prevent lots of questions and should be helpful to newbies. What do you think? Write a comment/PM me.

If you ask me, I would suggest everyone not to compare and rate different roms. It is not like one rom is better than the other. Roms will be according to the needs. Some roms aim at performance tweaks while some aim at display effects. And there will be some people who cannot live without sense widgets. Sense roms will be the option for them. So I think comparisons cannot be made.
And I think that number of topics (by newbies asking what is the best rom) on roms will outreach the number of roms. But if you start something like this what happens is there will be differences in opinions. Some may give worst opinions just after using it for few hours [ LOL, they don't even think about the time taken to develop a rom]. Because users will get pissed off even when everything is fine but just little bugs in the couple of features they need. I think there will be people who shift roms because of little things like dialer app etc. So basically the standard will be missing because everyone likes a rom which satisfies his needs ( and obviously everyone's needs will not be the same ).
But I think you can give feedback to xda in general section about controlling spam.

Yeah, I wanted to review it by stock settings, just for people to see what do they get by flashing it and to see if it has potential of fulfilling their needs. Means no modding or installing additional apps by me during/before the review. I think it's easyer to read an article about a ROM and to see some *in use* screenshots than self flashing every ROM (pain in the a**).

Agree 100%, except for this observation: an dialer, on a phone, is not just one little thing!
Well, I dont want to be a troll, it doesn't matter at all, your opinions are correct.
If you dont know how to start, or what rom to try at first, start reading! There is a list of rom topics on dev section, topic "the complete wildfire index". Try to enter each rom topic, see when was the last rom update, see the principal features of the rom, and read some feedback from users, searching for bugs.
I like to use the numbers of comment pages on the topic as reference of how many users have that rom, also, but pay atention on the age of the topic and, of course, if a lot of that replies are not bug related.
Again the choice of a rom is very personal, but this are parameters that I used to start tests.

yeah, sure, i dont have problems with choosing roms, i read, but, majority of people just post a thread asking which rom to choose.. thats where reviews come in, u know, every dev will talk best about his rom and etc, but this is "for users, by users"
and like bharat said its controlling spam
its not a bad idea. i have tried every rom for wildfire and i have to say that the cm7 nightlies is the most stable 2.3.4 for wildfire. enough said
I am new to the SGS3, and I still trying to find the best ROM that suits me, and there are many many ROMs for the SGS3, so instead of getting lost with all those ROMs I started creating a spreadsheet that compares all the features of ROMs.
But before going ahead in my project, I wanted to know if anybody else did this before.
I know it is a hard job to maintain, but at least it can give us a quick look of main features, and mainly to quickly filter ROMs that support a specific feature.
Take a look on what I made till now, just 4 ROMs at the moment, but later more can be added.

Update: Feb 1, 2013
This thread has been abandoned, I started it because I wanted to compare all ROMs out there to find the best one that meets my needs, but I ended up doing my own ROM putting in what I need, so I will no longer continue updating the already old spreadsheet....
I will leave the file there if anybody wants to download it and make changes....
I think that He is trying to make a sheet for users to see wich Rom suits best each one. And not the best Rom for all.
I like the idea.

Sounds like a good idea to get an overview over the features of all the different ROM's.
But it's only useful if you continually update it. So many updates to ROM's every day and you need to keep up if the comparison chart is to be useful.
So a lot of work, so make sure you're up to it in the long run also

Personally i think its a waste of time as it will take too long to maintain and there is so little gain. Its pointless having so many common columns.
Why not just create a thread (if not done already) that lists roms that are JB, ICS etc so you can see which roms are out with them flavours and if they have been updated recently etc?
there's a page for that. i believe it's in the all in one sticky.
EDIT: it's in the roll up sticky all in one thread. a link in there goes to an "absolute" thread that breaks it down to which roms are what.

Nice thread, complete list of ROM's and even mods.... but doesn't say what each ROM have/uses.
What I have in mind is a search engine for ROM features, give me a ROM that is based on official samsung, and that supports OpenVPN and contains the 15 toggle mod and not contain the Ad filters by default. something like the Phone Finder on GSMArena
I see no threat just the statement that if it turns out to be a best rom thread in disguise it will be reported .
jje
I'm going to let this continue on for now, but if it does turn into any kind of war about the best rom, it will get shut down.
I don't see anything wrong for now about maybe having a "wiki for rom features", just make sure it doesn't turn into a best rom thread and it will be fine.

essentially, they're similar for the most part with unique tweaks to them. You should know what AOSP, AOKP, Stock (i.e. Touchwiz), Sense, and other stuff are. They are already defined in that thread. And the rest of this is up to you to test out and see what you like.
If you break it down into categories, there'll be so many columns and rows, then you would be having a spreadsheet each with one check for their own unique tweak.
in otherwords, it can get really big and messy.
edit: don't get me wrong. It seems like an interesting idea but you'll have to find a way to organize it so it doesn't become a mess. Good luck because it might be a little rough.
edit 2 for example: omega has 2 versions. one for ICS which should be "final" but it's there. and the JB version that is constantly updating. you'll need to account for that as well.
Oh thank you so much. Been waiting for a thread like this. I don't want to flash and flash each and every ROM to see what fits me. The spread sheet is awesome. Hope you'll update it every now and then.
You're missing the Rootbox ROM 4.1.2, I've been using it since I first got my s3, only problem I found is the nightlies agent so nightly lol

Update:
Filters doesn't work for anonymous users, but you can download it and enable them offline.
Update 2:
For experiments, I made a Google Form to let users fill the spreadsheet by themselves, in case somebody wants to add more roms, for extra questions, I can add them later. check it here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dGQtVkRlVVRnVklNbDNMV0xuX2dualE6MQ#gid=0
Maybe later I even can create a web site to collect the information, with the ability to give the rom creates the ability to maintain the list updated..

Add a column for ROM size, it gives some idea about the boatware included in the rom.
