What recovery should I put on Droid x that was rooted with rootzwiki and how

Thats a little broad, do you mean something like ClockworkMod? This is what you do a nandroid backup with. So if you mess something up, you can just recover your settings from any date that you ran a backup on.
If you need to backup/recover apps, you can do this with Titanium Backup.
So bootstrap2 will work with this root method

It should, yeah. But to be sure...try a backup and restore before you go changing a bunch of things.

I've had this problem before, did you use a backup app to restore Titanium Backup? If I delete the app then download the app again it works fine.
Just like crump84 said, I was thinking the same and was kind of angry for bit until I downloaded Root Checker to make sure and then I just deleted it and redownloaded TB again and worked just fine after.

Hey everyone just noticed that even with root Titanium backup doesn't recognize that I have root so it wont function. Anyone else having this issue? And yes im sure im rooted all other root apps work and I ran root check just to double make sure

Working fine for me. Rooted using Preinstall method.
Is TiBu listed in the Superuser app?
Yeah its listed and I rooted using preinstall too.

and super user has installed?
The first time I rooted I had to reboot twice before TiBu would work properly.
Is Super User in the App Drawer?

If you see the SuperUser app, try forgetting TiBu and then running. Also run the preinstall method again.
Thanks for the help guys. Up and running with TiBu

Backup works different now, uses tar format instead of img, supposed to maintain file structure.

Does anyone know how to pull an app and its data from tb? I don't want to root quite yet, but I desperately need a certain app that I previously backed up before my upgrade to gs4.

UnRooting is quite easy if you're on MDC. Just Google unroot Samsung galaxy s4.

You can skip the part where he talks about getting the update. This root worked for me. You can change recovery after you're done.
Warning: not sure if there is an unroot. You might be able to flash back to unroot but I am not sure. If anyone knows please say so.

Hi,
Did you use the correct recovery for your phone.
It seems you have your own forum.
Look HERE

How did that happen? And yes I've made one back up that worked and now it won't let me make any more. I've got over 2 gigs of internal storage available. I've even tried do a back up to external sd card, which has 3 gigs of storage available, and it says the same thing.

Do you think ifi flash another recovery like twrp for example that would work or am I just wasting my time?

Hi,
It is definitely worth a try.
But You should be asking in your forum, not this one.
Also, look in your dev threads for the correct version for your phone.
That was it. Must have been something wrong with the cwm recovery because I flashed twrp and it worked perfectly. Thanx for the suggestion.
