Hi,
Did you use the correct recovery for your phone.
It seems you have your own forum.

How did that happen? And yes I've made one back up that worked and now it won't let me make any more. I've got over 2 gigs of internal storage available. I've even tried do a back up to external sd card, which has 3 gigs of storage available, and it says the same thing.

Do you think ifi flash another recovery like twrp for example that would work or am I just wasting my time?

Hi,
It is definitely worth a try.
But You should be asking in your forum, not this one.
Also, look in your dev threads for the correct version for your phone.
That was it. Must have been something wrong with the cwm recovery because I flashed twrp and it worked perfectly. Thanx for the suggestion.

Then offer some more information - how did you get there? Pull the battery (shouldn't be necessary, but give it a shot). If you have a case on it, make sure to leave it off.
More information gets better answers.
I was trying to install the twrp recovery downloaded it everything was going fine stepped away from my phone and when I came back this what was on my screen I have tried using odin to go back to factory out the box but no luck

In order to remove the factory mode message first your phone must be rooted. Use root explorer, go to efs folder than FactoryApp there's a file "factorymode" edit it as a text file you'll see it says OFF change it to ON, save and reboot.

No I did not I tried Odin back to factory still does not work
Sent from my SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
Did you try to factory reset from recovery? Wipe the data partition. If on stock recovery, keep in mind, it will wipe the internal SD.
It seems kies is not fully wiping. I know that Odin will not normally erase the data partition.

I'm having issues moving apps to my sd card, I keep getting an error not enough space even though I have 59gb available. I've tried reformatting the card in my phone but that doesn't work, any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks!
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
I found a couple articles and forms saying the cause of this could be because of the 4.3 update, has anyone else using 4.3 experienced the following error message when trying to move an app to external sd card "Unable to move app. Not enough storage space"?

Everytime I try to install a rom or any zip file in cwm, it could all files and everything but towards the end it says error loky-fying or something like that. Thanks to this my device was stuck in a boot loop for a while. It installs like 1/4 of the rom. Enough to see the boot logo and then it reboots.
I also got this error installing the white display and see through notification panel. Although it is working fully.

Hi guys goodnight,
I need some help on this, I did a nandroid image backup using CWM recovery and I backed it up on my external card before I flashed a rom. I flash cm11 rom on my s4 and now want to go back to stock, so I reboot into Cwm recovery and went to restore backup. After the restore had finish I reboot the phone and it came on without no problems but when I unlock the phone a pop-up keep coming up every 5 seconds saying ........ "unfortunately.the.com.google.process.gapps.has stop working". Please I need some help I can't do nothing on my phone because of these popups
Do I need to wipe anything first before I restore?

First just flash newer gapps (search on google to get a download link)
If that doesn't work then wipe and restore

Gapps are google applications. So flashing the latest version of gapps will make sure that all the google applications are fine.
I consider data precious so wipe and reset is the last option I prefer as making and restoring backup takes hell lot of time

First fully charge your device.
Second flash a new fresh rom.
Or you just go in recovery and do a factory reset (whipe data, cache,)

I charge the phone to 50% then try flashing a rom. Still gives me the message

What version of TWRP do you use? It sounds like your EFS could potentially be FUBAR'd........TWRP has the option to back up the EFS and if you have a TWRP backup it should have the EFS backup in it...check your backups to see if you have this. Give this a shot, it should fix the issue!!
If not, as he's recommending for the 'hard reset' it's under wipe and then advanced........just make sure that you have EVERYTHING backed up on a computer as this will erase all the data on your phone.
Try this:
Go to /efs/FactoryApp/
Open a file called factory mode.
It will probably say OFF. Edit to ON, save and reboot.
None of my back ups have EFS I forgot to click box it.

You don't have any efs folder in your phone now?
Go back to recovery and mount efs, then use twrp's built in file manager and browse to efs and see if it's empty. I don't think it is.
