I am gonna use HD2_Updatable_XBmod_Yuki_v2_native rom but before it could anyone can tell me if this rom can install the soft after it is flashed?I mean if I want to install any soft should I do any other step?And can this rom charging when the sreen is off?
They say you should be able to sideloade XAP files with TOM's XAP explorer.
You should be able to get marked working to, so can't see why you shouldn't be able to install your software.

because MAGLDR doesnt allow this...hopefully we will have a magldr version soon which fixes this problem !

Sync Issues
Im using the HD2_Updatable_XBmod_Yuki_v2_native, after I connect my HD2 to my computer Zune will only sync it as Guest, Ive tried re-syncing but it wont change sync relations. Any helpful tips?

Have you tried in Zune settings/phone/sync options and look under device options, there should be a third option.

For all of you trying to instal WP7 and getting stuck at the dreaded chevron unlocker "Uh-OH" that will not let you pass, look no further. There are a lots of ifs and buts but no definite answer to it. Below method worked 100%.
I tried it multiple times. I in no way encourage you to use WP7 and unlocking procedures but heres simply what you do if you want to do
Instal Zune
Connect WP7-HD2
Click on the sync relationship below the picture of your LEO70
key in any name...i used HD7
Once connected, create a zune id...You can use your windows live id though
Goto settings ---date and time and uncheck automatic date VERY IMPORTANT
sync your phone...Check if port 443 is free that means no SKYPE or anything. Instal registry key in windows
Put chevron installer on root of C
Stop any antivirus & anti spyware IMPORTANT
Run chevron with administrative controls
Make sure before running chevron that Wp7 is Screen on and not keypad locked. Make sure the white screen on zune is there clearly showing your phone model and name that you made.
I do NOT have the developers kit or tools installed.
I am on windows 7 64 bit
So this kills all speculations.
Hope you guys can get it to work.
I needed to disable my web proxy (Privoxy, in my case) for ChevronWP7 to work.
Note that you may need to reboot for proxy changes to be picked up by the Zune *service* (not the app).

Do you see your phone in the Zune window or is it a shadow?
Uninstal zune....restart....instal zune...restart.
plug phone into a dufferent USB

I'm on XP to and i can't make chevron running. what do you mean about registry key? I have to add it on my computer?

There doesn't seem to be a cure-all for this issue.
I was able to get mine successfully unlocked yesterday almost by chance.
I had to keep going into Command Prompt (administrator mode), keying in c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc, and then executing "notepad hosts" and deleting the host file that the phone kept creating everytime I ran Chevron.
I also had my phone in airplane mode.
Today, I decided to blow up the phone with Task29 and reflash WP7 to see if it helped my battery performance. Much to my chagrin, I was unable to duplicate whatever worked for me yesterday.
I'm back on Android until this is fixed with a known, proven solution for multiple users.

I accidentally relocked the device but It wont unlock againn???? What kind of justification is that. Now I cant go back to unlcoked mode now.!!! Please help. Tried all of the above.

how did you install the windows phone drivers because when I plug my phone on my computer ( windows Vista 32bit) it just say it just say installing that's it. Also i can't see the phone in Zune no matter what USB port i use or computer. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing I did would get it working with WinXP, I finally gave up and installed Win7 on a spare drive and it worked on the second or third go.

You can not do it with GoldCard. First of all, you must have xxx.nbh file to use a GoldCard. ROM from first post does't have.

At last... I've successful flash my devices using this ROM and Goldcard.
But to switch it back from DIAG to ZUNE, as you've said.. the USBtool.exe
has to be execute manually. I just wait maybe someone could found it how.
It's was really hard to find the single micro memorycard reader in my place.
I already try to use the multi/all in 1 mmc reader.. it wont work to
flash using goldcard technique because it seems like the phone keep searching
which one it should read from. so i manage to create my goldcard using flash
thumbdrive 4GB. and it works perfect with me. So now.. I have no worried to
flash any rom. except it was not develope for WP7. lol~

the problem is that we cannot flash that rom until we have HSPL or SSPL...

If you have a SENSE ROM you can use HTC Sync.
Otherwise you can use MyPhoneExplorer.

Htc sync is on the sd card if it's an htc phone but you could probably do a google search for the other program

I have exactly the same problem. I downloaded HTC sync but it does'nt sync my phone with PC. Of course you cannot use Activesync when you are using android as a core OS in your phone.
I want to flash my current rom that is CM7 android [2.3.4] typhonn v3.3.2 nightly.
(Using this rom i had alot of problems like Process stopped unexpectedly.) So i decided to flash rom but i can't, When i run radio flash Customruu.exe it say;
Error[202] connection, I used all proper methods, Power off phone, hold VOL down key entered into striped color window & connected USB with the device & pc. In the white screen it turned from serial to USB & after doing flash with customruu.exe always this error pops up & Pisses me off!
If there is any expert please help!!!

Hi,
It's not about USING ActiveSync to sync your phone.
ActiveSync contains the drivers used to connect phone to pc/laptop.
Same thing with WMDC.
So,all I'm saying is that ActiveSync or WMDC should be "installed" ,then the connection should be possible.

Though I am connected to Zune and the phone is syncing, but the TOM XAP installer says:
'Please make sure your phone was unlocked'
'Please make sure you connected device to PC and Zune launched.'
Anyone with solution?

Yeah, I know, my screen is unlocked, the ROM is fully unlocked too, but I keeps getting this error and cannot send XAP files, I was using WP7 for may be 6 months and this is the first time that I have a problem.....

Doesn't work, it says Device not found, but my phone is connected and synced in Zune......... this is really bad situation

you'll have to download first the wanted update cab from xbosmod/sylvester's page and send it to your phone with the help of update cab sender from the same guys

only Yuki ROM can update with CAB files.... for other ROM's you must flashing from beginning

did you can send CAB files to phone? if you can, this is Yuki (BTTF) ROM.... but maybe is better to try change to other ROM.... only one warning... if your ROM is Yuki, then your sdcard is locked... you must first unlock it with sending unlock CAB file to phone and then format it before install new ROM....

Why is everything so complicated!!
Ok my friend, i allready have Magldr v1.13 and windows 7592.
On your tutorial you write:
- when you turn on phone press and hold power button to boot direct to MAGLDR:
* go to 5. USB Flasher and run ENG_DWI.exe to flash ROM (or TR_DWI.exe. ENG is installer in English, TR is Turkish)
- after flashing process done, and when show Main screen with Tiles, do hard reset (Settings - About - reset my phone)
- you are done... ignore next steps
Got two questions on that.
I downloaded 3_HD2_Pdaimatejam_Rom_Wp7.5_mango_7.10.8107.79_v7.3.rar but there's no ENG_DWI.exe in the file..
How does it install windows 7 8107 just by hard resetting ?
I feel like a pain in the neck, sorry for that, if things get more complicated i'll try to find another way or just stay with 7592.
I flashed sdcard, went to usb mode but DWI.exe wont regognise the usb connection..

one time file is named ENG_DWI.exe.... totally not important how is named, DWI.exe or ENG_DWI.exe.. is same file..
did in USB mode in MAGLDR recognize USB?

Dude.. I've had this phone for what.. 3 years now?
It still feels new!
Everything works.. marketplace works, speech works, everything.
Only thing there is no alphabet with the apps, but that's fine, i'm sure i'll find something somewhere.
