Does anyone know if the readers hub application that is pre installed on the Galaxy S2 is available for the Tab 10.1?
I can't find it anywhere but think the application is far more suited to the tablet than a phone.

I have seen the readers hub in many galaxy tab videos but its not installed in my European Galaxy tab 10.1
do anyone have this apk?
completely ditto!
I use and love the Galaxy S2 especially the readers hub.
Was surprised to see that itwasnt included on the Galaxy Tab 10.1
Unfortunately after some searching the net unsuccessfully for answers i manually installed Zinio and press reader individually to get my magazine and daily paper fix!
Do let us know if you come across the apk for the readers hub app.
same here, i just manually installed Zinio and Kobo
Any news about this?
It's also missing from my tab, and I'd like to have it.
It was shown on some of the EU localized sites as "coming soon." That was months ago. Also, check out the new Social Hub on the Australian Tab. I hope we get both but at his point I'm guessing anything new and exciting will be integrated with the ICS release.

This was originally a request to get the HC gmail apk working on Froyo. However...
Found that Google quietly updated the web gMail to show the iPad two pane version when using Dolphin. Pull to refresh, two pane, almost good enough to not need the HC version below I had gotten it to work before using the iPad's UA string, but it didn't work well. It appears that the code is now optimized for Android! Sweet (like frozen yogurt sweet)!

Let's get this on #MyStreak
http://twitter.com/#!/GoogleMobile/status/40819021414666240
Looking for an apk. Surely it works with the 2.2 Froyo codebase (one can dream)?
[REQUEST] Honeycomb Gmail
Looks quite nice:
Kind of unrelated, but this post has a Mail'd app from the Adam (but I doubt that it works). Any guinea pigs want to try it out?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928832
And of course there is the Galaxy Tab email client (which I have on #MyStreak, thank you DJ_Steve)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905659
Edit: TabMail gave a "connection error" after a couple hours syncing Exchange (switching wifi ap maybe?) So back to stock Email.apk
Well... there was a system dump from the Xoom that would have been promising to play around with, but content was pulled due to DMCA... BOOOO!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966767
But, on a more related note, here is an edited 2.3.2 Gmail app that has been edited to always "Show Pictures"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=847035
updated OP because Google released optimized code for "iPad" layout when connecting to gmail.com using Dolphin.

there are other apps to do this like imediashare but not the same functionality as allshare
But i think that what i need is te wps button in the wifi settings to connect to a wifi direct device

I used to love my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab, but lately its limitations are becoming very annoying.
Recently, I purchased a Panasonic Lumix GH3 camera, which features WiFi. On my tablet I downloaded a Lumix Link app, which is supposed to let you operate the GH3 remotely on your tab. I have the same app on my iPod, and it works beautifully, but it won't work at all on my 10.1 Tab.
The GH3 camera shows up on the Tab's Wifi list, but it won't connect.
Also, I just purchased a bluetooth speaker, which I had hoped to use with my Tab while watching movies and videos. The Tab will not connect with the speaker. However, again, the speaker connects with my iPod Touch flawlessly.
The fact that Samsung will no longer update my 10.1 Tab doesn't make me happy, either. (Yes, my Tab is not rooted.)
I think it may be time to switch to a new tablet.

Or root it and run 4.3 like the rest of us.
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
+1 ....root it..then flash it like you stole it...
I have an original 10.1 VZW and I've never had a problem with BT running any version of Android from Honeycomb to Jellybean 4.2.2. I love my BT speakers since I've never been impressed with the volume level of the Tablet.

So on my note 2 i have the ability to select a different player other than my phone. This was done via DLNA and im able to send it to a Western Digital Media Hub and Chrome Cast. (Shown below)

However, Now on my Note 3, i get something similar but it is the AllShare symbol and nothing shows up to stream it to. So now i cant stream to my Western Digital Media Hub and Chrome Cast.
Does anyone know how to fix or get this feature back?? I loved being able to play my music to my chrome cast in my living room with my surround sounds from my pocket.
Or am i just missing something??
Have you tried re registering the N3 with the hub? I know that on my Samsung TV it asks me for permissions. So maybe reset the hub or re allow the device.... make sense? Lol! Hope that helps send you in the right direction! Good luck!!

well i guess i havent tried that but the thing is that every time you open up the gallery it does another scan for the all devices on the network with the note 2. but the note 3 scans and then finds nothing. did they limit the note 3 to only allshare cast??
Now that we have 4.4.2 in the USA does anyone have the Samsung Side Sync APK to see if it's compatible with the recently released windows exe? It has not been added to the samsung store yet.
I found this http://apps.samsung.com/mars/mw/apk_en.as?COUNTRY_CODE=USA
I'm going to try the tablet version now.
so, has anyone found the SideSync app ? (apk ?)
I am also waiting for this app.. It's not available for note 10.1 in either Google or samsung play store..
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
SideSync's weird on the N10.1-14. I'm not sure whether it's supposed to behave differently than it does with Samsung's phones or if there's something wrong.
Here's my N3 connected to my PC using SideSync. There are two modes - screen mirroring which is in the pic below or using the PC's keyboard and mouse to control my N3 via its display (rather than on the PC's display).

SideSync on my PC doesn't/won't connect to my N10.1-14. At least not via USB and my PC doesn't have Wi-Fi so I can't test to see if that makes a difference. Instead, SideSync on my N10.1-14 screen mirrors my N3 as shown below.
I've checked and the version numbers of SideSync on my N3 and N10.1-14 are the same.
Anyway, here are the APK's for those that want them...
https://mega.co.nz/#F!JUYUFQ7D!FG6DQsAd7VDNCRMNdg1bqQ
And if someone is wondering, SideSync requires KitKat to even install. I was unable to install it on my 4.3 WiFi Note 10.1-14.
But thanks for sharing the APK. Now I am waiting for KK to arrive here in Italy. Which is taking unexpectedly long time. IDKY.
How to install this three app? I have to put them in System/app on my note 10.1 2014?
I have 4.4.2 P605XXCUCNE2
