When trying to upgrade Magldr 1.12 to 1.13 I keep getting error 266. I want to install CWM and a new ROM, but having troubles upgrading Magldr. Can CWM be installed with Magldr 1.12? I have been doing a lot of reading and followed MSKIP's instructions, but keep getting the error. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
why dont you start from scratch.

flash radio 2.15.50.14
flash mgldr
flash proper nand partition (so get recovery)

first i must say that i have a little experience with installing win 6.5 and android nand roms. I have HSPL 2.08 version and radio 2.15.50.14 version.
lately i installed a miui clk rom and it worked o.k, after a while the phone stuck and i pooled out the battery and after that the rom and the clk was wiped out.
since then i made task29 and installed the radio 2.15.... again then the clk but could not install the cwm because from some reason the pc didnt recognize the phone Through the usb port, so i've installed the magldr 1.13 and then the cmw but now it won't start up (the cwm) and it give me an error, so i decided to try and install win 6.5 again but the phone won't start up.
is anybody know what is wrong or if my phone ended its life on this plant?
my suggestion would be to download hd2 toolkit. task 29 phone then start over. flash magldr then go to maglr option for usb flasher and repartition your phone for your rom of choice. install rom zip on sd card and install

done that with the toolkit and first it didn't flash the task29(usb erorr) after some Struggles i made it but than it didn't flash the magldr Through the dft (again usb erorr) so i flashed it with ruu and than the and the rest is written above.
the toolkit isn't working and on the dft i get alot of usb and connection erorrs, but with ruu flash i dont have this erorrs.
now is it hardware or software problem?

hello, i have a hd2 leo and had nand android on it with magldr(1.13)
i had to switch rom because i wass bored of the one i had. i changed in the ad recovery my rom to another rom. i just followed all steps correctly but when i start the rom it just hangs on the rom load screen... when i try another rom they stuck at the load screen and then reboot the phone.
when i try to go in the hspl to use task29 it hangs at 0% when i try task29
when i use the usb flasher in magldr to task29 it it doesnt see its connected.
i cant go back to my default rom womo 6.5
cant start the rom
cant change eveything
please help me, and if i have a new rom how could i clean my sd card from all the files that are on it?

You don't use the usb flasher in magldr to do a task 29. You must do task 29 from bootloader (Tri-color screen. turn the device on while holding the volume - button down)
It is possible that you don't need to do a task 29 anyways though.
If you still have magldr, then keep it and don't do a task 29.
You probably just have to re-flash CWR with a different partition layout.
What nand rom did you have before, and what rom do you wish to flash now?
i tried also the tri color screen but it stucks at 0%
how do i reflash cwr with a different partition layout?

If you don't do a "wipe data / factory reset' in cwm, the next rom rarely boots.
enter cwm and do the reset, see if it helps. The comment above about partition size is the next most common reason.
as for "hangs at 0%",,, does it say "2.08.hspl" in bootloader?

i reinstalled my magldr v1.13
i reinstalled my clockwordmod 3.0.0.5
and i tried to launch a rom and it stucks to the first screen (a girl with htc on it)
then i tried another rom ofcourse i wiped all my data/factory also stucked to the first screen (nrg z energiz)
what am i supposed to do now because it just dont wanna work.
change back to winmo 6.5? and then again flash to nand?

what did you do <-------> ? because you dont mention flashing any rom, just skipped straight from reinstalling magldr and cwm to 'tried to boot'
What partition size did you flash? what rom did you flash?

I didn't flashed anything, In the video I saw the man didn't flashed after installing cwm
Partiton no one told me about partitions so I didn't made one

i have a Problem with clockworkmod, after i sucessfully flashed maglr 1.13 i tried to flash a different Clockworkmod paritition Layout but it somehow failed and now i dont know how i can repair this. I still have Hspl 2.08! Can someone help me?
An explanation of "somehow failed" would help.
Anyway, enter magldr, USB flasher, reflash the cwm layout.
First you have to run Task29.
Second you have to install Magldr.
Third you have to go to USB flasher mod and run DAF.exe.
And finally you can flash your rom now
HD2 Toolkit very eazy way to make it all.

hi, i have a big problem! I try to install android on my htc hd2, after it come back from guaranty. So now it has radio 2.15.50.14 and spl 3.03.0000. First of all i installed a new HSPL, in particular cotulla 3.03HSPL, than i dont flashed a new radio because i allready have a the right one 2.15.50.14.Than i did a wipe, and installed the MAGDRL, but when the installation finished the phone is still white and i cant go on the MAGDRL menù!! Why does it do in this way?? i dont really know i need of help!! Now i come back to windows, but i want android thanks

1. It's MAGLDR, not MAGDRL
2. You need HSPL2.08 for MAGLDR, not 3.03
This is the way of install NAND Android ROM; You must flollow this sequence;
first check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL,
1. do task29
2. install radio rom 2.15.50.14
3. install magldr 1.13
4. do recovery 5.0.2.6(or clk)
5. Format your sd, create ext3(or ext4) partition
6. do clear cache and dalvik cache.
7. Choose your android ROM .zip file and copy it to your sdcard, load into magldr recovery and enjoy...
and this is the tools that you will need.

Task29 isn't necessary (usually it does nothing to help), and there's no point installing MAGLDR then installing cLK right afterwards.
so, i have normally a spl 3.03 using hspl4 can I install 2.08 HSPL doesnt brick my phone?? thanks
yes you can. "HD2 toolkit" consists HSPL3 tool. And you can install 2.08.HSPL.

whats the differince in hspl3 an hspl4 i flashed hspl 4 an magldr all worked until tried partition
kept getting error cant remember something like text files missing im stumped where did go wrong

AFAIK, nothing different other than the fact that HSPL4 supports flashing from stock SPL 3.03 (i.e. Stock ROM 3.14) to a HSPL version (inc. HSPL 3.03)
I have t-mobile HTC and i just updated the SPL 1.66 to HSPL 2.08 to install MAGLDR and i also installed it successfully, but then i have this pink circle and it wont boot up,
What can i do? Please help me

When you installed MAGLDR, it wiped WM. Just flash partitions for the ROM you want and flash it in recovery!
