Tricolor mode is called bootloader, did you try to reset your device?
If yes try hard reset: Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.
I have the same problem and same IPL and SPL numbers. Bootloader appears again after hard reset. Help!

Hold power, ok button and reset with stylus. This should get you to bootloader which displays your IPL and SPL...
Hey guys, I've read a couple of threads and I cant find any info on how to fix my Leo.
I haven't tried to flash it, I was just downloading apps today and after my phone reset it wouldnt boot back up. It keeps getting stuck on the white loading screen with the green letters HTC. With some red writing:
R 2.06.51.07
G 15.30.50.07U
D 1.66.76641
My boot screen says this:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.4.2.0000 XE
MICROP(LED) 0X05
MICROP(TOUCH) 0X40
What should I do?

15. How to Hard Reset your Phone
To hard reset your phone which means to delete ALL personal data and settings and have the phone in factory default conditions as if you turned on the phone for the first time after purchasing, press the following buttons:
1. With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the screen:
"This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to the manufacturer default settings. Press VolUp to restore manufacturer defaults, or press other keys to cancel."
3. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
The above info is actually an extract from the HD2 Leo manual, page 292.
im having the same problem as you. i was downloading some keyboard apps today and did a soft reset. next thing i know im stuck at the boot load screen. need up. bump.
Just perform a hardreset, like Zentury had posted sbove - and your good to go!
Hi All,
I have an HTC HD Touch which was running Win 6.1 and I flashed the rom to Win 6.5 found on the Rom thread here. It seemed to work ok and was running for about a day. Since then it turned it self off, and now the screen does not come on. It appears to be on as if you dial it ti will ring, but nothing on the screen.....is there a way to flash it back or have I fried it?

hi, strange behavoir, i've you tried to hard reset the phone? or just enter the bootloader?
To enter in the bootloader
Press and keep pressed "vol dn" then press the power button, you should enter in a red, green, blue, white screen.
If you can enter there and your screen is on, then I think an hard reset is what you need.
WARNING, hard resetting the phone will erase all your data on it, not the SD Card just the phone. Just for be sure, take out the sd card before hard resetting.
To hard reset press and keep pressed "vol up" and "vol dn" key and press the power button. Then follow what's on the screen.

What I'd also do is check your SPL. If you've flashed a wm6.5 rom you need to have the correct SPL to match. Did you use HSPL or USPL to flash rom? If HSPL, your SPL should state 1.56.Olinex if not then you need to change your SPL. If you used USPL, your SPL should state 1.54.0000. Again, if not you'll need to change your SPL
Follow this guideline here for flashing roms. The symptoms you are describing could be due to you having wrong SPL. Either way, its easily fixed
When I flash the rom and hang on tri-color mode, If I power on or reset also in tri-color mode ..... can't up rom and spl

i have used olinex 1.56 hard spl after hard spl phone screen has been black.Phone start but nothing appear on screen i have tried many rom but same thing.Can any one help me please?
Have you tried to revert back to stock ROM?
Reset and press volume up and down button together.
Can you get into the bootloader ?
