My phone is stuck in Booting it just keeps looping... The worst part is I don't have a Backup stored it some how deleted itself... Please somebody help me how do I fix this I need a Rom atleast... the button comebo still works I got CWM and Downloading mode is working... But it won't boot
Just flash your stock rom with 512 pit in odin and make sure everythings ticked, cheers
My phone was originally in Darkyy's Firmware... It somehow got like stuck on a Theme that I wanted to add so I did a 3 button combo and it just went on a Reboot Loop animation.
OMG!!! It must be a new years miracle it must be some Technology or something... Somehow I maniged to fix it with CWM Restore...
Hello, my u8800 just died..
i got a blue screen a couple of time and had to pull the battery.
now it is completely dead... ? how so?
it was running MIUI just fine and i just rebooted it and got a blue screen..
What happens if you press and hold Vol+,Vol- and Power?
Can you still get into Bootloader?
Bluescreen usually wipes the Bootloader, but you can fix that if you can still access it...
In case you lost all the data in Bootloader (pink screen), format the partition with FAT32, create a folder called "image" and copy the following files on there.
EMMCBOOT - http://www.mediafire.com/?lb6ifvgk72iru4a
AMSS.MBN - http://www.mediafire.com/?d6r45q6p5gew59v
Recovery.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?57njygc8oianjac
Boot.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?6d5i0714a7o9z97
If you can't access the Bootloader (pink screen), I'm afraid it's going back to warranty.
same thing happened to mine, still trying to fix it. managed to flash CWM recovery like that but now factory reseting leads me no where, of course, and restoring a backup from the sd didn't work either, all i get is a bootloop.
i'm so very lost please help, tell me what you need to know to help me
DON'T factory reset or restore a backup! Once you've had a blue screen, you CAN'T restore or factory reset a Rom.
You should flash a custom Rom directly. Just copy the Oxygen.zip (http://sourceforge.net/projects/u8800oxygen/files/) in the root folder of the SD card and then wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
Flash the new Rom by Selecting "install zip from SD" and select the Oxygen.zip archive, the installation process does everything else.

Thanks GOD!
It was completely dead, but when i wake up this morning i got it on with bluescreen again, hooked it up with my pc and copied the files u linked.
now it seems MIUI is booting fine again!
but how come it got wiped in the first place?
Not sure to be honest...It's some sort of miscommunication between bootloader and Rom (kernel) and Huawei designed a fail-over mechanism that wipes the bootloader (screen becomes blue when this happens).
Anyway, glad to hear that you got it going again.
wow thanks katu2006 xD I just realised how stupid I was
you see this whole thing happened, I think, because I tried formatting a NTFS sd card I put in the phone. I wanted to put files bigger than 4GB in it...
so when I got the blue screen and then managed to boot into CWM recovery, all I had to do was flash a ROM, I knew that, but my internal sd card was wiped clean and I couldn't access it in my PC when I plugged the phone. then I just figured I should get another sd and put MIUI in it and then stick in the phone LOL it's working fine now, thanks a lot
Glad to hear that you problem was resolved as well.
I have the same problem with my U8800. And I follow your direction and I can log in to the Miui rom, but it has the notification "Blank SD card or unsupported file system" and ask me to format the SD card. But when I format the SD card, it change into the blue screen again in the next reboot time. What should I do.

OK, you should copy the SD Card contents to your computer, format it with FAT32, copy the folders back and then try to boot in Recovery and reinstall Miui again.
I also had such a problem. And as in your situation, my solution was to copy those files into 'image' folder. Though, blue-screen-trouble is still actual and we have to blame only huawei-guys
Is your IMEI allright? after some of theese operations, I had mine nulled.

I beg to differ - for me when I had a blue screen yesterday - tried everything other than reflash. In the end I pushed a clockworkmod backup to the internal sd card via adb, did a restore and problem solved.

Blue screen
I was stuck with a blue screen for days after i formated the internal mem, i got stuck until I came across your post . downloaded the files to image folder and here i am with a working phone, thanks a million.
I have sold my Acer Iconia on eBay and I was just placing a clean new ROM on before I sent it off... And now it wont boot nor reboot into recovery!
I rebooted into recovery cleared its data and attempted to apply my custom ROM zip from my sd card. Unfortunately it hadn't copied properly so I took the sd card out- copied the file over again and when I went to power on and - volume button it just is stuck on a black screen with "acer" in the middle... nothing else!!!
I previously had the latest version of Taboonay on my tablet.
Somebody please please help me ASAP because I am meant to be posting it out today. (yes I know I have got to be the biggest [email protected]$$)
I think I am going to cry... :*(

Hello guys, after a extensive research I decided to post thia thread and ask for help.
I recieved this phone (i9505 international version) from my cousin after it was washed in a wash machine inside his pants pocket'.
He told me he had sent it to a repair shop to have it cleaned and repaired before he sent it to me.
I recieved it, charged it's battery on a externalismo charger, put it back and it turns on ok, but gets stuck on The boot screen with a little blue message on the top that says "recovery booting" and never changes from there.
So , i tried The obvious, downloaded a official ROM, and tried to flash it. Flash was sucessful but i still had the same problems with it getting stuck in The first boot screen with the little blue text at The top.
Then i tried flashing The ROM with a pit file to rebuild The partittions. Flash was sucessful again, no errors at all, but I still had the same problem getting stuck at The boot screen.
The I tried flashing a custom recovery.
Clockwork recovery got me a error screen after i flashed it saying something got wrong during flash ask me to flash again.
Reflashed The oficial ROM with the pit file, tried again, same error. Had to reflash again.
Then I tried twrp.
This time something went different. I was still stuck at The boot screen, but The blue text changed to a red/orange 3 line text saying something like "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing".
I've read that this hás something to do with a locked bootloader and knox security.
Also, I've read that some people had this problems when their /data partition got corrupted.
So, I could not clear or format the data partition because I can't get into the recovery. The pit file never touches /data, and I don't really know if flashing the oficial ROM is enough to fix any problems in /data.
I have no idea if the data on /EFS is still OK.
And I'm still stuck with this problem.
Does anyone have any idea what else I can try in order to unbrick this phone?
I think the 3 possible problems are:
Corruption on /data
Corruption on /EFS (still it should boot)
Something wrong with bootloader vs rom version or region or something with Knox security.
Oh, I Aldo tried flashing another modem/radio. Got the same "something went wrong while flashing, try again" error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry if you find any typos, I'm fighting my word corrector (which is in pt-br) as I type this from my phone (n7000).
PS: flashed Samsung 4.4.2 zto (brazil) to the i9505
Another possibility is that the volume rocker shorted and when holding power it is also holding volume. Therefore booting recovery. I would check this by removing the volume rocker ribbon from the board and powering on. I know it sounds silly but could be the problem
Sent from my SCH-I605 using XDA Free mobile app
I openned the phone a few minutes ago to check this. Acctualy the button is soldered into the mainboard. I wasn't able to disconnect it.
I get a new multimeter (mine broke a few weeks ago) and check the contacts, but I don't think this is the problem, because if it was just a problem with a key getting stuck it should still boot into the recovery and do something, but it's not the case, it gets stuck in the bootscreen before booting and never really enters the recovery.
and when I go into download mode, there is a screen that asks me to presse vol up to go into download mode or vol down to cancel, I acctually have to press vol up to enter download mode, so it's probably not the problem. Thanks for the sugestion tho'.
Hello Fellows,
First I'd like to explain my situation in details.
my phone fell while i was walking on the street and it got some dirt on it, so ( foolishly ) I decided to clean it.... and yeah... i washed my phone like washing a dish... i like rinsed the phone in water and in other cleaning liquids for no more than 3 seconds it was all quick thingy... anyway after washing it.... i directly powered it ON and it powered but the screen was OFF ( so i decided to power it OFF, solder it and to remove any clues of water inside on the board or something... after that i used a hairdryer ( which is not recommended ) but i used it at a descent distance so that no harm would be caused to the board... as i was only subjecting air to let water if any existed to dry..
i put the phone in rise and kept it for 1 day... after 1 day i wanted to check out how stuff went.. so i powered it ON and the screen actually turned ON and the vibrator, even the hardware back-light lighted up perfectly but here's the problem I'm facing.
the phone only boots into TWRP 3.1.0.0 no matter what i do.. things i tried:
1- flashed some ROM, through TWRP
2- used "Fixed Contexts" in TWRP
3- Repair File System "System partition" through TWRP
4- used file manager inside TWRP and checked if the internal storage is working and indeed i can show all my files, through TWRP
5- also used the file manager to access "System" Partition and everything was there, through TWRP
6- change File System into EXT4 "System partition" through TWRP
7- Resize File System "System partition" through TWRP
8- Wiping all Partitions "Excluding the internal storage"
and NON WORKED..
note that whenever i attempt to flash a ROM the result shows successful with no errors ..
so whats the problem in here?
i have a guess but i need help in order to apply it.. i think the VOL- is pressed and stuck somehow Electrically on the board ( but no physically as i can press the volume down and hear its tap or whatever you call it.. i even managed to boot into fast-boot and it worked.
is there anyway i can disable the vol- button temporary to see if its causing the problem?
the only thing is i cant see my ROM booting... not even the boot animation showing... just the boot-loader and automatically it goes into the recovery
also i have kernel log attached below followed by the recovery log
EDIT: i also forgot to mention that my PC recognize the phone and i have access to my internal storage.. no problems with transfer speed as well
after tons of attempts and searching online and flashing stuff and blablabla... (i flashed every recovery image op2 support )
FINALLY
I found the solution my self, and everything is back to normal...
the phone was stuck at the early stage of the booting process and maybe couldn't find the boot image in order to boot up the android OS, so all i did was i plugged in the phone into the PC, i started everything in fastboot mode on phone and on PC then i just sent the following command to my phone.
Code:
fastboot continue
fastboot then(meaning after the command) wasnt able to recognize the phone anymore so i knew that its now trying to search for partitions other than recovery.. i waited like 10 seconds and booom it booted into the best ROM i've ever used ( and actually missed ) which is Official RR from our great maintainer "nicesoni_ash"
P.S: the vol- as i said was really stuck and i noticed it not working while on RR ROM, so i just clicked it many times and tried mixing vol+ with vol- .. after many many attempts vol- worked and i then rebooted to make sure if everything is back to normal and no recovery auto boots and indeed it smoothly booted up
thanks a lot for all who tried to help out in here or on oneplus forums :highfive:

Did you try reverting to stock ?
Try getting files from here..
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/rom-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-roms-ota-t3209863
I would consider it as bricked, after all attempts failed and go with the unbrick guide here on xda or oneplus forums, maybe this way it can be ressurected.
You probably have already backed up your data..
Damn, that hurts..

hello bro, i updated a magisk module v4android and when i reboot, it boots up in twrp. and since then it keeps booting into twrp. So, i used fastboot continue and when it boot int the home i deleted that module.
but fastboot continue only works once. After that if i switch-off and switch-on the phone, it goes into twrp. it needs fastboot continue everytime.
please provide me a permanent solution. few other users are facing this too. plz reply i'm waiting.
Hey,
with the help of some others in a Discord server (thanks @thesanjayp#6251 on discord) i managed to find the issue. Appearantly there was a change in /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc for some reason. There was a similar problem on the old LG Optimus G Pro which i owned, so i remembered this.
As I'm not sure if we can just wipe the partition or not, i got a working misc.img attached.
In any terminal (adb shell, twrp terminal or an terminal app in a rom) make sure you have su rights, and then execute the following command:
Code:
dd if=/path/to/misc.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc
Make sure to adapt the path to the misc.img though to the location you saved it to.
The misc.img I used is attached to this post.
PS: Im not responsible for any broken phones if this didnt work for you.
