Tried them all, Touchdown is the best for me. It acknowledges Tiff2PDF which is a must for faxes that are generated by our exchange server 2003. Still not quite a Blackberry but close.

[REQ] WPA2-Enterprise?

I'm unable to connect to my school's WiFi on my Evo. Is WPA2 enterprise not supported by Android, or is there anyway around this?

Anyone wants to swap VPN?

Hello, I'm currentling residing in Korea. I run a dedicated NAS server with the speed of 100mbps/100mbps both up and down.
I'm hoping to find someone located in the US who can provide me a VPN account. I sometimes miss watching US tvs but due to my work hours it isn't worth purchasing a commercial VPN service. I was wondering if someone who has their own NAS server up and running to exchange VPN accounts.
Anyone interested?
Maybe the vpn you use has not provided open port. Try this. Ive been using it for more than a year http://xtreamvpnworld.blogspot.com

I always used MIRC back in the day when I'd frequent irc rooms. The scripting language was quite easy and made for lots of fuin.
Now i am forced to use xmpp server and as always, default clients suck. I am allowed to use any client that i choose, but simply cannot find one i like.
Edit: looking for windows based clients.

MySQL Database Connectivity

Hey people,
I have a website service that is built upon a MySQL database. I am trying to code an android app for the same, however I am not able to link my app to fetch and throw data at the database?
Can you help me understand the concept better?
My database is set up on a server over the Internet. How can I have my android app fetch data from it directly?
Thanks, in advance

I think you have first to create a webpage server side in PHP and you list the content so you can through PHP commands send requests to your db.
xpirt
Thanks for that, xpirt
Is there a way to do that without using an intermediate php script? A more direct method, which can be implemented within the app itself?
The method you explained is what I wanna keep as my last resort.

I don't know. I'm a PHP programmer and I know only with this to connect to databases, I'm a newbie in Java so I'm not able to help you
xpirt
Take a look at this link: http://zetcode.com/db/mysqljava/
The one issue that may stop you is if you don't have control over the server OS. Most hosting providers will not let you connect to mysql via internet connections.
