Go to this thread, download the toolkit. And follow the instructions. It seems like you failed to partition or load magldr correctly.

This is teh dev forum, not a support forum. If you want to ask questions reply to the appropriate roms thread or post in the Q&A/General forum.

Hold the "vol down" key while starting your phone. You should get the 3 color screen. Connect usb, you should see "usb" in the display.
Then start toolkit, choose you system size and install magldr. After starting in magldr go to "Usb Flash" on your handy and then click "Repartition" in the toolkit.

the least you can do is tell him something for his problem. i seriously wonder you just do this smashing for kicks or if something is wrong with you more than him.
As for splinter-cell : here you go mate http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905841.
follow that and you will be up and running. also go back to HD2 windows mobile forum or reflash you original windows mobile stock rom, to go back or start over.
-good luck-

Thanks guys for all of your replies. However, I am having trouble accessing the bootloader. Everytime I hold the volume button down and press the power button, the phone boots up normally and then freezes at the T-Mobile splash screen. Is there any way in which I can "force" the phone into bootloader?

You are doing it the reverse way. Take out the battery and reinsert again. Now as soon as you press the power button, press volume down and keep pressing. You gotta do this real quick.

its not auto starting magldr because you either - 1 don't have 2.08.hspl (no other version hspl will do, only 2.08.hspl) or - 2 don't have a compatible radio , i.e one that is of the ..50.. version number, higher than 2.07.50
once you have both those conditions, magldr will appear without you dong anything when you start the phone, and probably hang at 'failed to load kernel' or something, because there is no ROM to load, but you will know its working, so reboot hold down just power, and the magldr menu will come up, and you can choose usb flashing and move on to flashing cwm.

Guys, still having problems accessing the bootloader

In the name of the wee man.
Post this in the right bloomin' topic.
The Mods have just spent an age reorganising this whole corner of XDA and what do you do?
Bugger it all up.
Well done.
At least you are consistent, you buggered your phone and the forum. Bravo.

Can you seriously follow anyone's instructions given man? Quit trying to boot the phone. Connect the phone with your PC via the USB cable. Hold down the "volume down" key and the "power" key at the same time. Tell us if you see the tri colored screen.

Have you checked the battery contacts? They bend very easy, and the symptoms you describe are exactly those of that. If they are bent, VERY, OH SO VERY CAREFULLY straighten them up. If one or more are broken, I hate to tell you this, but you need to buy a new phone.

I think you have wrongly done the Clock Work Mod which shows the 123Fatal Hit error and ur hd2 remains stuck there. Your HD2 is not crashed at all just charge it with an external charger then go to bootloader by pressing n holding Volume Down key and Power button until you the triple coloured screen, then connect your data cable to HD2 and flash it with a stock windows mobile rom so it will restore ur hd2 and after that u can install nand rom on it by following each and every step mentioned in tutorials here. Whenever I select boot AD SD after flashing partition layout I always get 123Fatal error now I don't understand what the problem is....If someone has a solution for this problem please reply in this thread as I don't want flashing through DFT method.

Uninstalling WM7?

How do I go about uninstalling Windows Phone 7 from my HD2, and reinstalling 6.5?
Zune acknowledges that the device is connected, however, I cannot get the HardSPL to even activate.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Go to the tri color screen by pressing vol down and power button at the same time, then just flash like a regular rom.

how can i reinstall wp 6.5 on my hd2 and uninstall wp7?
plz answer me by email : [email protected]

I am quite a bit surprised to see such requests.
Really, that´s where the fun stops.
There are brilliant step-by-step tutorials available here in the forum, and you really ask that somebody makes a personal mail to you? For free?
Come on.
Check this thread here, follow the link to the flashing tutorial for your device (512Leo or 1024Leo, the latter is the US model), skip the HSPL part (since you already have that on your phone), and flash either via USB or SD card.

give people a chance, 1 hour isnt much time to expect a reply, especially given that this has been answered and a search will give you the answer
youve also not told us how you would like your Android, ROM or dual boot SD with WM

Using the search function, reading some threads, and maybe using that biological tool called "brain" is sometimes helpful, indeed.
Sorry, had to be a bit rude...

[Q] [q] idk wtf im doin heeelllllppppp!!!!!!!

whats goin on guys (IM A NOOB) i just got an HD2 because i heard it was a great phone to mod. only problem is im really new to it and dont even kno where to start, ive done alot of reading all over xda and have just been getting confused. can someone help or point in the right direction
thanx
Ok, first, You need to do HSPL. Connect your phone via Active Sync, run HSPL4 (download from internet), and select HSPL 2.08. Follow the instructions you've read and these one which you see on the screen Read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1402975 Then do what is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20519350&postcount=3 use 2nd way. It is easier. Then install CWM (link above). And after all you have to turn on phone holding Power+Home. If everything is good, you'll see blue-black menu, which you can navigate trough by vol+/- and PWR as a selector. Better roms (I don't know if it is rom's option or CWM/CLk) has an option during rebooting - reboot, Recovery and Bootloader). In this last you can set partitions, but better do this during installing rom.
Or try this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KoOWyHZMNo&feature=relmfu

Don't do that, it will confuse you when the USB times out.
Put the phone into bootloader (stripey screen) by "hold and keep holding voldown, tap and release power". Then connect USB, when the word USB appears in the white area, you can flash magldr, radios, hspl and such.

In short, follow either kylew1212's guide here for cLK or this guide for MAGLDR.

heh, go re-read the post you linked, , , ,what are the first three words?
hint
Hold Volume Down. Press and hold Reset until you see the BootLoader screen. Reset is the hidden button under the battery cover, lower left side below the SD card slot. You need a plastic or wooden stylus (toothpick will work). DON'T use a pencil, the graphite can get into the button and short it.

handy for a broken POWER button, but no use to volume button issues.
not to mention that he is asking to flash from sd in bootloader, and of course, even if you DO get into bootloader, you need to press the vol button to start the flash.
(Not like you to make a mistake, you're normally bang on the money, , , bad day? )
Hey guys,
I'm sorry I can't help or offer any solution, but reading again about a volume button problem just makes me confident that we need to have an option to boot into SPL from clk or magldr.
If I remember correctly, in WM 6.x we could do it using a little executable called "Enterbootloader.exe".
To tell you the truth I've tried ida-ing that *.exe, but I don't have the skills to make something out of it... maybe someone else could give it a try(?).
Nevertheless in the newer version of clk I added an option to navigate through the menu using fastboot commands (simulating volume keys, green button and back button).
Regards!

Haha actually a fairly good day, got some decent GCSE results for the first few things I've done. I guess when I posted that was before I got the results and I was, shall we say, bricking it (although not talking about phones here ) and probably not really thinking. Anyway, @OP sorry about that, I really dunno why I linked that without reading it properly but meh, I guess no harm done if you didn't flash anything yet (aside from maybe getting your hopes up slightly )

unfortunally you still need vol down to skip magdlr menu....and boot into tricolor screen.
i guess im stocked with this rom unless i can short vol down mecaniclly i mean from hardware
insert battery and power up then remove short...

I think is going to get stocked as many other apk like fastboot or reboot....they work but when phone reboot it will get into magdler menu not bypassing.
