How do I go about uninstalling Windows Phone 7 from my HD2, and reinstalling 6.5?
Zune acknowledges that the device is connected, however, I cannot get the HardSPL to even activate.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Go to the tri color screen by pressing vol down and power button at the same time, then just flash like a regular rom.

I am quite a bit surprised to see such requests.
Really, that´s where the fun stops.
There are brilliant step-by-step tutorials available here in the forum, and you really ask that somebody makes a personal mail to you? For free?
Come on.
Check this thread here, follow the link to the flashing tutorial for your device (512Leo or 1024Leo, the latter is the US model), skip the HSPL part (since you already have that on your phone), and flash either via USB or SD card.

Go to this thread, download the toolkit. And follow the instructions. It seems like you failed to partition or load magldr correctly.

Hold the "vol down" key while starting your phone. You should get the 3 color screen. Connect usb, you should see "usb" in the display.
Then start toolkit, choose you system size and install magldr. After starting in magldr go to "Usb Flash" on your handy and then click "Repartition" in the toolkit.

the least you can do is tell him something for his problem. i seriously wonder you just do this smashing for kicks or if something is wrong with you more than him.
As for splinter-cell : here you go mate http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905841.
follow that and you will be up and running. also go back to HD2 windows mobile forum or reflash you original windows mobile stock rom, to go back or start over.

Thanks guys for all of your replies. However, I am having trouble accessing the bootloader. Everytime I hold the volume button down and press the power button, the phone boots up normally and then freezes at the T-Mobile splash screen. Is there any way in which I can "force" the phone into bootloader?

You are doing it the reverse way. Take out the battery and reinsert again. Now as soon as you press the power button, press volume down and keep pressing. You gotta do this real quick.
its not auto starting magldr because you either - 1 don't have 2.08.hspl (no other version hspl will do, only 2.08.hspl) or - 2 don't have a compatible radio , i.e one that is of the ..50.. version number, higher than 2.07.50
once you have both those conditions, magldr will appear without you dong anything when you start the phone, and probably hang at 'failed to load kernel' or something, because there is no ROM to load, but you will know its working, so reboot hold down just power, and the magldr menu will come up, and you can choose usb flashing and move on to flashing cwm.
Guys, still having problems accessing the bootloader
Hi. Guys. I'm a Chinese fan of HD2. I love this Mobile phone so much!
But. There has something wrong with my HD2's hardware. I was wonder if there has anybody can give me a Working advice. Here is the Problem:
That Power button and down Volume button doesn't work anymore.
The another buttons are working good.
My HD2:
HSPL:2.0.8
MAGLDR 1.13
Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.5 product by R3Mix(Runny offical 5.1) Rooted
Beccause the buttons reason. I can not use the MAGLDR Menu.
So I've figured out a way.
Make Android booting faiule. That I can use the Menu.
How to delete the boot files.
Thanks

---------- Post added at 10:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 AM ----------

PS: Pls dont go off topic with posts if its not problem
No. I mean if I deleted initrd.gz file. MAGLDR will not Booting successful. Instead of returning MAGLDR Menu. I had the another HD2. And I've done it on my another HD2. so I could use the up Volume button to choice the MAGLDR options (Because Volume Down button is not working anymore)
ALL I WANNA DO IS TRYING TO OPEN THE MAGLDR OPTION 'Always Boot Menu' TO YES.
So Please help me.
or delete zImage.
Thank you for your advice.

heh, go re-read the post you linked, , , ,what are the first three words?
hint
Hold Volume Down. Press and hold Reset until you see the BootLoader screen. Reset is the hidden button under the battery cover, lower left side below the SD card slot. You need a plastic or wooden stylus (toothpick will work). DON'T use a pencil, the graphite can get into the button and short it.

handy for a broken POWER button, but no use to volume button issues.
not to mention that he is asking to flash from sd in bootloader, and of course, even if you DO get into bootloader, you need to press the vol button to start the flash.
(Not like you to make a mistake, you're normally bang on the money, , , bad day? )
Hey guys,
I'm sorry I can't help or offer any solution, but reading again about a volume button problem just makes me confident that we need to have an option to boot into SPL from clk or magldr.
If I remember correctly, in WM 6.x we could do it using a little executable called "Enterbootloader.exe".
To tell you the truth I've tried ida-ing that *.exe, but I don't have the skills to make something out of it... maybe someone else could give it a try(?).
Nevertheless in the newer version of clk I added an option to navigate through the menu using fastboot commands (simulating volume keys, green button and back button).
Regards!

Haha actually a fairly good day, got some decent GCSE results for the first few things I've done. I guess when I posted that was before I got the results and I was, shall we say, bricking it (although not talking about phones here ) and probably not really thinking. Anyway, @OP sorry about that, I really dunno why I linked that without reading it properly but meh, I guess no harm done if you didn't flash anything yet (aside from maybe getting your hopes up slightly )

unfortunally you still need vol down to skip magdlr menu....and boot into tricolor screen.
i guess im stocked with this rom unless i can short vol down mecaniclly i mean from hardware
insert battery and power up then remove short...

Thanx,
but not for me....
thats exactly why my phone is in this state right now.....
"flash type 0 power reason 1 bootup_w_pwr_key_pressed"
That's the only thing written on my htc hd mini screen now.
After rebooting in "4-colored-screen mode" and flashing original rom (DAN) up to 100% device reboots and same thing happens, but with a little change - "flash type 0 power reason 6 bootup_w_warm_reset". Last flashed working rom was android "sense", it started "freezing", after soft-reseting the device i saw this grey screen. Already tried flashing different roms, taking the battery out for a long period, booting with vol+\vol- buttons pressed. Task29 freezes at 0%. Nothing helped.
Any advice anybody?
PS: sorry for my cr*ppy English, hope everything written above is available for understanding.

at first, it was RUU_Photon_HTC_DAN_1.36.403.1_Radio_Signed_32.2803.05.06_0.63.05.36_Ship.exe (original unmodified ROM, downloaded from shipped-roms)
then i switched to Gabanna's 21686, but it had some issues with gps in my case, so i went back to RUU_Photon_HTC_DAN_1.36.403.1_Radio_Signed_32.2803.05.06_0.63.05.36_Ship.exe and decided to switch to Android - HTC Sense 3.5 Android 2.3.5 with Beats Audio. It worked fine for 2 days, even gps came back from dead.
Thank you, hope this will help solving my case.

I've searched for another battery in local stores - no success. The price of new, brought from ebay etc. would be equal to price of used HD Mini, and i don't want to waste money on buying some low-class-chinese-piece-of-cr%p battery, politely called "replica".
Could you, please, rephrase that "plug-usb-to-computer-on-it", because i can't understand what you mean.
Wrong, last working ROM (before the problem started) was HTC Sense 3.5 Android 2.3.5 (flashed to NAND)
So you have tried Android Installing ?
"plug-usb-to-computer-on-it" Cable your HTC HD Mini Cable, connect to PC>Cable<HTC HD Mini. then try install CWM Recovery.
dear 2bigfella, I'm still not sure whatever you where just in WM6.5 or you had android after all that, what I understood now is your CWM hasn't been installed correctly. Pictures of your phone will help me to know the problem... don't you have at least a camera or bring your friends to take some pictures on it

aaaaaand again (3rd time): last rom working on my phone was (before the problem started) HTC Sense 3.5 Android 2.3.5 (flashed to NAND)
googled cwm recovery - 1. htc hd mini isn't supported and 2.MY PHONE ISN'T WORKING! I can't install apps on it because the only two things i can see on it is a)grey screen, described above and b)bootloader (4-colored-screen mode)
Okay now it's better to know... (don't google for cwm, it's here already)
restart device, when you see HTC Bootscreen.. press and hold down Volume - down, until you're entered fastboot mode, be sure that your cable is connected to PC<>Photon, and begin install CWM from here (go to dev section xda photon)
