Hi my friends, you are my only hope.
i have a 16GB T-Mobile Omnia7,Non Retail Version and current build is 7661 non-jailbreak version.so i wanna turn it back to original build(7004),unlock it.and taste sweet Mango ...
With the help of my friends,i flashed my omnia7 through "I8700_WP7_Downloader_Ver_7.03_For_Retail_Device__Product_Force_Select"..But the sudden error crazyed me...
with the log window saying "ERROR[Channel 0] Write MIBIB Data Fail!!!"and then "[Channel 0] FLASH LOCK".. Port region displayed "MIBIB WRITE FLASH Failed" .i disconnect the data line.then i closed the WP7 downloader, trying again, run downloader once again, but a dialog pop up, appeared on the screen .dialog title,"Partition Information Exeption"and details,"Partition Information is not equal,Do you Erase Nand and download ALL?" then the line com port disconnected....Failed...
She likes a brick...~~~~(>_<)~~~~
Lacking good fortune...
Current Condition,i can enter download mode with a 挖煤器(called a coal digger in English?),but cant access to the "recover mode",cant go further than the boot logo.i'm stuck..
How can i flash my Omnia 7 then? i raped the searching button and WPXAP.COM and Google...,so frustrated..
i think partition table is missing.i want to rebuild the table up.but i dont know how to start ..but but but but why Write MIBIB Data Failed...frustrated....
Anyone had the same problem?...
Flash other roms someone said, but the results are the same.
I tried to reinstall the USB drivers, but nothing more that i can think of can help...no responding..
and a skilled person said to me:WP7 downloader changed, version 7.03 instead of version 7.21 .......i still havnt try it.
PLZ help me ...my foreign friends...my bricked Omnia 7 ..plz save HER .i trust you ...%>_<% sorry for my poor english...

If it fails when flashing the new NAND layout, you are screwed and if you can't make sad eyes and get a warranty replacement, you're gonna have to use JTAG to recover the NAND. The JTAG pins are rather easy to access, right below the battery sticker. Then you need some piece of hardware (RIFF Box, that Samsung JTAG tool, ...) and some software (comes with the JTAG hardware) and flash the NAND directly.

"Pre-series" S200 flashing issues

Hello,
I work for a mobile phone distributor. As such, we often get from manufacturers "pre-series" handsets that we use to showcase to our customers.
Usually, these handsets are mostly if not fully identical to what will be on the market but the S200 I got hold off yesterday shows a weird OS version : S200_0.019a.00_EN
And it seems the flashing functionnalities have not been implemented on it or even restricted : when trying to flash an official Acer ROM, when pressing "Yes" the following message is displayed on the screen : "KernelIoControl fail ! Your device not support this function. Please check your OS version"
I also tried flashing custom ROMs but they all fail after reboot in FTM mode
I really think the bootloader is special on this unit but can't find any HardSpl or alternative bootloader that I could flash over =(
Thanks for your support

Seems like you have a pre-production unit, acer does not apply any kind of flashing encription to there phones, so you dont need any hard-spl,soft-spl etc, you should be able to flash your device, since hdubli first rom cooker for the acer s200 also had a pre-production unit, send me screenshot of the back of your device without the battery, il see what i can desiver off of it.

Hmmm this is intresting indeed....have you tryed flashing any of my roms?? what you have there is test bootloader, if do have a flashing security/or no flashing support is withing the bootloader, try flashing my rom as i have the oldest bootloader, let me know how it goes, im very interested in your device.
edit: turn off your device, and press and hold camera, and wile still pressing camera press the reset button, and tell me what it does
Hello,
Actually, I think my test bootloader had nothing to do with my issue but it was rather the flashing tools disliking my Windows 7 on bootcamp =(
Just borrowed a laptop with XP and could flash your latest ROM
Well, actually my phone won't reboot at all (all I get when pressing the power button is the blinking red light) but I guess I will find the solution in your main topic, won't I ?
Removed battery, put it back in, pressed camera and power button then pressed reset but nothing happens
EDIT : looks like I bricked it =( Can't reboot, no matter what I do all I get is that red blinking light
Reflashed, program says procedure is complete but still the same in the end

Well its not bricked just yet =], if you press camera and reset and the red light start blinking thats good, it means your device is in download mode(bootloader) so you can save it, but my guess is that your device doesn't have the flashing partition in its nand flash, you would need to flash a proper production CSV this will partition your device nand to production standarts, hence giving you the flashing partition, as this said you would need qualcomm's qpst something qualcomm engineers only have, so for now your device can only boot into bootloader.
Doesn't sound too good =(
I guess I'll never be able to add the flashing partition myself, will I ?
Edit : finding the QPST seems easy on RS, how about the proper production CSV ?
Thanks a lot for your time

This one should work, be aware the QPST is not flashing utility its an engineering tool, meaning you require certain knowledge to use it, if you fail to do so you will render your device completely and utterly useless, good luck.
Before trying QPST, just tried and flashed UFE Nuts rom : it works like a charm !!!

Strange hes using my rom as based so mine should have work as well.
Strange indeed ! And then i could flash your rom on.
Only thing is that it aparently lost the radio !
Oh... It's a pity you flashed it so quick We could have used the pre-production rom for various experiments (as I remember, none of the reviewers complained about 2d landscape issues or low headset volume ).
Sorry, no one told me it could be of any interest to you guys =(
By the way, would you know what I should do to flash Radio the radio only ?
If you use the old flasher (i.e. there're plenty of files in rom package - flash.bin/extrom.bin/amss/...), you can try to delete flash,extrom,dsp1 and to leave only amss file.
Will try that when I'm back home, thanks a lot !
I think I've flashed all the ROMs I could find on the forum but without much success : everything works perfectly except the phone =(
All I get is "Phone off" on the desktop and all that is related to phone doesn't work (placing calls, SIM toolkit, connections setting, etc...) just as if there were no SIM card in the handset. I get the "Phone is off, would you like to turn it on ?" message but it never gets to the PIN input screen.
I tried with several SIM cards that work perfectly well in my other phones with the same result
Any idea would be greatly appreciated =)
Thanks

You need to try different AMSS.MBN these are the Radio part for the acer s200, try flashing the one found in my flashing tools, if dosnt work download difrent Acer OEM roms, and try all the amss.mbn, one of these should work lol, good luck.
rafyvitto
Tried to flash all the AMSS.MBN I found, including the one in your flashing tools but I'm still stuck =(
I'm about to throw the phone through the window =)

Hmm it seems that your pre-production device flashing partition is not as big as the normal acer s200 devices, my only guess is that your flashing partition is full thus not been able to flash the amss.mbn, my question is in the flashing process do you see amss.mbn been flashed?? or is it skipped?
Hello
No, the whole procedure goes fine, no error message of any kind and apparently nothing is skipped

Htc hd2 brick =(

i guess i was celebrated too early...
i tryed to delete the HSPL
by the video tut ... ( yeh yeh ... what can be more easier )
well ...
it says to get a stock rom ( i did it )
it say to put it on the SD after formating it to 32 bit ( i did it )
then hard boot ... ( i did it )
power button ...
and ........... puff ...
now i get: ( On boot ):
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.0000 XE
microP(LED) 0x05
microP(TOUCH) 0x03
Upgrage ROM code error
Please try again ...
WHAT IS THAT ? :`(
dose it means i brick it ?
(p.s.)
Tryed to install the HSPL again ...
the install is successfull. ... but no change on the device ...
you have used the wrong rom.
you must use the correct rom that was on the phone when you got it.
Or the correct region. In doubt, just enter your phone's serial number on the HTC download page (here for 1.66) to make sure you get the correct official rom.
Then extract it, put the nbh on your card, etc.
" Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device. "
hhmm .... i had the hong kong rom originaly ...
maybe it means i have to download it from an hong kong htc site ?
yes....choose the hk site
Are you solved the problem?
How?
I have a similar problem.
I have the same screen at boot, but when I try load anything my device as stuck in progress bar (0%) even for shipped rom’s…
This happens when I try load a shipped rom from SD. Before that I have loaded several cocked rom’s from SD without problem.
the fix...
hold volume up and down together and insert the USB cable then run a different or a good ROM

Did i brick my phone??
So my brother was trying to do who knows what to my hd2 and now the hd2 powers on and it says "stick together" (its a t-mobile hd2) and it just stays on that screen.. I'm not the most tech savvy person so bare with me... usually below where it says "stick together" it would show a bunch of numbers and codes and after a few seconds it would load windows mobile and the phone would work fine. However, mine just stays on the stick together and theres no more of those numbers and codes on the bottom.
Did he just brick my phone? And if he did... HOW THE HECK DO I FIX THIS???
HELP :*( i need to use my phone!!
Thanks
Heh I'm in the process of doing my very first flash to get a full install of Andriod 2.2 on my HD2, once I find out a specific answer I've been looking for I'm gonna start the process

I just bricked my HD2 (USA T-Mous). I tryied update RADIO when was progress on PC 100% in PDA 96% and freezed. I just pulled battery and phone is bricked. When I connect to PC via USB, i can listen twice short plug sound and this is all. No bootloader, nothing. Any reason? Thanks
Did you try to turn on your mobile pushing "vol down" to load usb mode ?
After that, you can flash an official rom.
That "saves" my Leo...

You're not giving a very good explanation, did you attempt boot loader mode? anything else? at the present moment, you're just taking up thread space..
The boot loader mode is the hard reset??? or what is it?? The phone doenst enter on the hard reset (color screen with 3 options)
Moved as this is not ROM Development
Sorry about that, anyone know how i can fix it????

[Q] Recover Fail - No boot White screen

Hello, and sorry for the post asking for assistance!
been driving me nuts for 2 days now, it seems i'm having a major case of melting HD2
it started with the phone freezing often, reboot solved it.
then, it went to having to unplug battery for a few, and, reboot fixed it.
now i'm at a constant white screen (no htc logo)
was running in Android but tryign to just get anything working for now.
i made the sd card leoimg.nbh with a custom rom to recover it, but i can't get it to finish
in red : Radio_V2 Fail
in blue : all the rest
tried to flash radio update, failed
tried to update the HSPL version (2.8one now) but no go, it shows "success" but in bootloader shows the same old version.
what can be the cause of this, exept memory nand being screwed?

CPU and its BGA balls!
Not alot to be done i think...
Keeps coming up on white screen.
Tries to flash HSPL (newer version) finishes but it still shows the same version when powering +volume MIN.
Tried to flash a Radio, comes up with an error Radio V2 error
Tried to push a ROM on there, gives a "image file is corrupted"
Tried what i found here on the different forum threads but....seems my HD2 gave up on me...or at least it's beyond my repair skills.
Thanks for those before me who gave suggestions on what to try, it's a damn sad day i loved that phone..
wts : one slightly bricked phone
Try to do a Task29. Use the HD2 Toolkit for that.
You have to JTAG it in order to recover it. RADIO_V2 means it's radio, and it's officially bricked. There's nothing you can do other than JTAG to recover it
Well, in a way i'm glad i have the answer now about the V2 being the radio ...
Thanks for the input guys, not sure i'm going to bother with the JTAG story, already ordered a replacement for my HD2 as it is, can't spend too much time without my phone.
Anyone knows if people are interested for the "bricked" HD2's? or how to reach people?

HTC Magic White

Hi friends I hope you can help me with my problem.
I have in my hands a htc magic 32b was not but I wanted to root
charge the battery as well, I saw a tutorial on how to do this, follow the steps well but did not read well when he says that to reverse the steps and put it back to factory. flashe then a file named sapping.zip and everything went well but the result was me the following errors:
1 - bootloader - error
2 - boot - fail
3 - h-boot fail
4th - radio fail
I think these were the errors
then my HTC'm dead, orange LED lights only when you connect the charger.
and if I press the combination Vol-down the center button and the back button
Blue LED lights up but the screen does not turn on, or the computer recognizes it fasboot mode.
can someone tell me how I can repair my precious android?
thanks in advance and excuse my English but use the translator of google I am from Central America.
Yep .
1. I prove myself HTC is bad phone
2. I thing you downgrade via goldcard then try to put RADIO and SPL and while flashing the RADIO your phone dead right
3. In this point only JTAG can help
3.1. This stupid sapphire cost 30E second hand
3.2. Riff box , JTAG , Olimex- usb tinny and etc cost from 70 to 160E
3.3. In service for JTAG it cost 40 to 60E coz the funny techs there think they are God coz they open the phone ,solder ( some have HTC connector and use them without solder) then click flash flash flash with some open source program some dump files like SPL RADIO RECOVERY and etc and coz of this they wanna grab your money coz in them eyes you are tinny people who beg them to fix you phone
4. In the end what will you chose ? Buy JTAG for 200E all parts and program this stupid Qcom inside by your self , pay some tech 40~60E to resurect it to you or just trow this stupid HTC coz its cost only 30E its your choise.
I'm now pissed off coz i mostly use XPERIA and flashed NAas MiniCM kernel and ROM maybe on 30 and more XPERIA's and newer got this HTC like stupid situation. EWEN SONY make a update service coz when your mess it its can repear it.
I cant imagine how stupid they on HTC is to sell people phone who brick and stop work. EWEN SAMSUNG HAS JIG (310K rezistor) who put them in download mode ... and etc. etc. and etc.
Now I"m same like you whit dead Saphire 32B and I don"t thing its cool to pay 60 box to fix phone who cost 30.
Its from 2009 and we now 2012 no one make way till now to fix this without JTAG and like i see it can't be develop coz when phone go tho state where no USB no fastboot no hboot nothing there no way to soft method to fix this
