See link in my sig, it lists every app in KG6, I haven't 100% finished listing the application names, but the apk names and info about them are all there
Here is one thread about that.

Thank you both for the help

Version 1.5.1 now available. It seems to be the same as version 1.5 that came out a couple of weeks back, except this version doesn't revert back to version 1 when you restart the phone - so a pretty fundamental improvement there.
thx for the news .. i'm happy i didnt got that prob from the begining
Oh yeah. Thanks for the news. Why did convert in the first place?

Got it... But no changes since version 1.5 at all ?

Not showing on my UK Galaxy S either.
Anyone have the .apk file
Mine was downloaded when I updated to JM1, I didn't have to do anything, it was just there.

Hi guys,
This is the apk for Task Manager 1.5.1. Fetched this from Samsung apps on JM8. Hope this helps!
How come it says application not installed when I try to install it?

For some reason I can't install it. What do I do?

Apologies guys, was stupid enough to upload the wrong apk! Updated my initial post with the correct one. Try it and let me know if it works better... well at least it won't be worse
wtf permissions?
I was going to install the 1.5.1 release from the Samsung app store, but finally held back: The permissions it's asking for are not quite to my liking.
This app requires each and every permission there is, e.g. change UI settings, send SMS and MMS, make telephone calls, read emails, change APN settings, change global system settings...
Did all of you ignore this, or were you shown other permission requests?

Noticed that as well, but it's the first update I installed for the Task Manager. I assumed it already had those permissions, and decided to trust Samsung. Some might argue it's not such a good idea
There are more apps in the Samsung store that require odd permissions and I just called Samsung Mobile Germany to ask the supporters why this is.
Not that I expected anything else, but what I was told is just wrong.
I was told the following:
- These applications are from Google (i.e. programmed by Google)
- These permissions are set in Google accounts
- this is no risk as the applications for 100% sure won't make calls or send SMS / MMS
This is so poor as a support answer... And a really poor programming style as well, 'cause it contradicts the idea that programmers should only require those permissions in their manifest that are acually needed.
Not gonna install that crap anyway. What if Samsungs servers are hacked and distributing modified versions of these applications? They're not gonna pay my excessive cellphone bill, should this be true, aren't they?

It's showing on my UK Galaxy S, what firmware do you have?
So basically I had added a favorite to the sense tab and clicked on it while using free WiFi at McDonald's so the page it shows is the page where you accept the terms of service for the free WiFi. I have searched for it, but if I somehow did miss the answer I apologize in advance. I have tried removing the favorite from the tab & removing the favorite all together & then re-adding it and it still shows the wrong preview. I am guessing that there is a directory somewhere that I would be able to just delete the preview data. TIA for any help!!!
Bump I would love to know too.

That's a weird one. Did you try deleting it, then doing a soft reset, then adding it?
Have you looked in the Windows\Temporary Internet Files folder? Or maybe it's the Temp folder? See if the images for the shortcuts are cached in one of those folders. If so, you can just delete them and that should take care of it.
all the thumbnails are located in:
/Windows/Thumbnail
simply find the one you have and replace it with one you want or delete it. (the names are very long and make no sense, but in the end are simply .pngs.)
for a tut on this see:

Ok so I found & deleted the 1 that was giving me problems, but now it won't generate the new preview! I have tried a soft reset with no results. Is there a way to force it to create the new one? Thank again!

scratches head...sorry mate. it worked for me previously. did you save the file somewhere else before deleting it? sorry it isn't working out the way you/i had hoped...
I upgraded to Oprea 10 I think it is beta and I don't have this problem anymore, it seems to update the thumbnails often.
I'm sure this is an easy one guys, but I've searched allover and can't find it
What app do I need to download in order to have the battery percentage displayed in the battery icon top right? All the apps I've tried are widgets you can add to your home page, but I don't want that.
Cheers fellas
I like this too, the only way I have been able to do it is on CyanogenMod roms - like shubcraft.
There is a setting for it in the cyanogenmod settings.
Found it - thanks. That's been driving me mad .

Hello guys,
I have a P1010 with Gingerbread 2.3.6 and have the newest official skypeversion installed. Unfortunately the video-chat still doesn't work. I have found several versions here on the forum but I'm still not sure which one to install. Can someone help me here? Is it safe to uninstall my current skypeversion?
Thx in advance for your help!
I finally got it working after searching and working out that there are several builds of signedcom.skype.raider_2.1.0.46 floating around and not all of them work! In fact the Advanced Settings section varied wildly between them.
The one that I used with success was Build v11 at www.multiupload.co.uk/6WEIZZGTX7.
In Advanced Settings, I had to set the following:
Force-enable video-calling > ON
Avoid setFPS > ON
Use valid preview surface > ON
Then you will have to tweak Rotation in Advanced Settings>Front Camera (270) to get your face to appear in the correct orientation if using portrait.
I'm sure some other combinations and versions will work too but this is what has worked for me.
Hope it helps
Thx for your help mate . Do you by any chance know if its safe to uninstall skype. With Froyo I had the problem that I couldn't install Skype after I uninstalled it because there was some residual file (which could only be removed by rooting the tab).
I didn't have any residual file problems and I must have installed 4 or 5 different versions.
Give it a go.

Where can I find Advanced Settings? The app seems to have vanished from the Market Place.
You need to uninstall the Market version of Skype and download the one I linked to above.
Next install this version and sign in.
Now you can use the Menu button and you'll see Advanced settings as one of the menu items.
You don't need anything from the Market.
Its works! Thank you so much! Wouldn't have thought it would finally work ^_^.
Sadly with multiupload down and the multiple builds of signedcom.skype.raider_2.1.0.46 out there as you mentioned I am having trouble tracking down the exact build you used. Does anyone have a working link for the version japester36 is talking about? Would love to get this working.
I've uploaded signedcom.skype.raider_2.1.0.46 Build 11 to my Dropbox, you can get it from here.
Hope it helps.

Hi guys,
did someone managed to solve the "half-picture" problem?
Hello folks,
I'm new to this forum, I found this place very useful and full of people who are willing to help. Today my brand news LG G2 after second charge is draining pretty fast... after first charge it was OK and at the and of the day i still had 40% on heavy use. So i checked the battery stats and found out that some kind of process: com.android.browser:sandboxed_process4 is eating the most of my battery. I can't find this process anywhere and in the internet there are no information about it.
Please see pictures attached.
Really hope you will help me guys.

Model: D802
Android: 4.4.2
D80220f-EUR-XX
Update: So i fully charged the phone, cleared the chache and data of Internet Browser, restarted the phone and now this problem is gone. I do not see this process anymore (it was for first minutes of 1% of total drain and now it has disapeared).
But i really almost haven't used any browser at all these few days, what could caused this problem ? Maybe you have any guesses to avoid this problem in the future ?
@space15 well its from the browser application and the sandboxed process is I believe like if you have tabs open in your browser then sandbox process 1,2 Etc.
Sorry for late response, I forgot to post my reply :/ Good that your fixed your problem on your own!

Hehe, thanx !
But i do not think that problem is solved. It should appear again. But strange, I do not believe that Kitkat update can have such a issue with stock browser. And i do not remind that i used the browser especially with several tabs. This process seems to appeare out of nowhere.
All i did yesterday is opened hidden menu and made some testing, thats all... maybe there i did somethig wrong...

Maybe there was still some incognito or something like that running in the background or other saved tabs I am not sure about that sandboxed process but I have read about it some time ago. The only thing I can surely say is that its from the Stock browser and that there is more sandboxed processes like sandboxed process1,2,3,4 Etc so i am thinking its the Tabs but i aint sure
don't use chrome, sux battery as you have found out
