I know they took it off the market and there are apk's on threads here. However I am unable to get anything to work. I have downloaded 4 versions of the app all from different links and got the same result from version 1.5.4 and below. When downloading through the stock browser it instantly fails to download the apk, and through Dolphin it will say the download completed but it is always a 708kb file that I show in my downloads afterward, when the apk's I was downloading were all actually 2+MB in size and of course the files could not be opened once downloaded. Am I going insane here or what the hell could possibly be wrong? Sorry the post got lengthy.
Download an app called Friend Me. Its better than the Facebook app.

I checked that out but there was no chat. That's really all I used the app for. I use the main site for most stuff but chat is a huge pain in the ass on there.

Saw this over at AndroidSpin.com, it's just the network app not the emulator from the Playstation phone. Anyway, enjoy
BTW, here's the link to the article on AndroidSpin.com
It's been a busy morning so it took a bit longer than expected but for those of you that couldn't DL the app for whatever reason - I have it up now.
Cool, thanks.
It gives me an error when I try opening it

Wont download can someone release the apk or any download link

Sorry guys, I should have thought about that lol. I'll be at work in an hour (have the apk on my computer there), I'll upload it when I get there.
If it gives you errors after installing it, just try to install it again and it should correct it - worked for me anyway.
Link on android spin worked perfectly for me and no errors installing.
Thx

Ok, I went home amd the application installed properly when I downloaded it on my PC

App works but I don't see anything special here. I can see who is online on PS, but I can't message them. Also, the friends list doesn't seem to be sorted. Offline friends are mixed in with online friends. What's the point of this? To read about games? See your friends trophies? Hmmm, I uninstalled.
Appreciate the post though. Thanks.

Heres the apk
Just downloaded it, going to try it soon.
What would be cool is either remote play to PS3 feature, or at least the ability to turn on your system and have it download selected items from the PSN.
Anyone know of any? I hate having to RDP to download stuff

I'd like sabnzbd for android, that way it could download straight to the device and repair/extract after the download finishes
GetNZB (from the Market) allows you to download nzbs from nzb.org and upload to an FTP server. I use it for uploading nzbs to my NAS which polls for nzbs in a specific folder then starts downloading.

I've got sabnzbd working on my xoom. I installed ubuntu using the guide on this forum (in android developments) once it was working a quick "apt-get sabnzbdplus"gets it installed. Then edit the /etc/default/sabnzbdlus to set the user as root.
Once its running connect to 127.0.0.1:8080 and it'll bring up the wizard.
Tada. ;-)
You can install transmisson this way as well with a quick "apt-get install transmisson-daemon" then connect to 127.0.0.1:9091

The only one I know of is NewzDroid.
EZ Usenet guys. It is for Easynews if you have an account and you can download directly to your Xoom or android device. Works great...free version has 15 days of news and paid is of course more days..

Like it says... so lets say there is a file on multiupload and i want to dl it.. so i open lets say rapidshare on my phone. I literally will have to hit the download like 3 times.before it will download the.actual file...
And it will only download it.through.a.browser like.opera.
The stock browser doesnt work at all to try and download.something unless its on megaupload or something... but still same problem, refreshing a million times before download.works.
Everyone i know has this problem, anyone know what the deal is?

Long press and hit the open link. See if that work for you. Also if you are downloading apk from the browser make sure unknown sources is clicked.

Or just download from one of the other options from the multiupload link.

The deal is that our browser expects a normal HTML website, and not a crappy ad-filled bastardization of code that the likes of rapidshare use.
Use multiupload or sharebee instead.
Man come on guys. Im asking because sometimes people only upload to.rapidshare.

I have adobe 11.1 installed and used dolphin, boat, ocean, and chrome browsers. But whatever I do I can't get live.lifechurch.TV to load like it does on my laptop. I can get it to show the video but no chat box (which shows up during one of the showing times on the video). I've searched the forums and no one else visits this site on their N10. I'm new here so take it easy haha. Thanks for any help.

Make sure you have your browser set to desktop and not mobile.
Also chrome isn't compatible with flash so that's out, for boat and dolphin it's under settings and user agent, for ocean I think you can just request desktop site in the menu.

Do you have an AD blocking app? Try reversing the setting and uninstall the app. This should fix it
Have you ever wanted to get an awesome free app from Google Play on the HDX but you just don't have root? Well that is actually easier than you might think at first. I hope this will be useful, personally I use this trick a lot.
1.) Go to the google play store on the web and choose a free app (it only works with free apps)
2.) copy the URL and paste it in the search bar of the following website:
apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/
3.) click generate download link.
4.) choose which app you want to download the apk with.
5.) then click open file, and then hit install.
6.) Play the game!
I use this trick to download stuff that isn't on the Amazon market but is free, like the Buzz launcher and other games. I hope this helped someone, and thanks.
I think most of the xda users will know how to do similar things, but maybe there is a new guy out there who doesn't. like me half a year ago!
Good to know... I've been able to use 3rd party stores for everything I've needed so far

Cool, thanks man.Never thought of that, but I never had an advanced phone- no need. For my uses a nokia brick is good enough.
Or just sideload 1mobile market. no root needed for it to work just for the apps it cna download that need root just like normal playstore it has all the free apps that google play does. I assume its similar to those apk downloaders out there but just does it on the device and in an interface that works well and even allows searching and the like.
