I'm using the insertcoin 1.5 rom on my g2, I was curious if there's a way to fix the browser. When ever I exit it and open it back it closes all my tabs except the current page I'm on. Does anyone have a fix for this or is this a permanent thing?

i just used the find on page function in the stock browser. was really sluggish and almost made my whole phone lock up. could someone test and see if it is the same in other builds. im using hyperdroid 1.1.
tried dolphin browser aswell but that did the same. then tried skyfire, while it was a little slow it worked. one thing i did notice was dolphin and the stock browser used the same find on page interface while skyfire used its own.
mine worked fine. im using shubcraft 1.5

ok thanks, bit weird tho as hyperdroid is based off shubcraft 1.5. ill just have to use skyfire for that function
Everytime I go to 511.org, after some time the browser closes and the phone jumps to a blank home screen.
I use ADW and it looks like all the icons are gone, and in a couple of seconds everything comes back.
Does anyone else experience this? Or can someone else try it?
Stock 2.2 rooted, netarchys 4.1.8-cfs
Never heard of that site before this thread.
Crashed my browser too, about 10 seconds after opening the page.
Running cm6 with stock cm kernel, using dolphin HD browser
I get such crash viewing surfline.com when I do lots of zoom in & out on their home page
confirmed. stock froyo'ed. dolphin browser.
i think the dolphin browser tells the site its regular computer instead of a mobile device. probably the java script is confusing the dolphin browser...
Same thing on my friends stock 2.2 on regular browser.
FANTASTIC!
So I'm not crazy.
It happens to me on both stock browser and dolphin, whether it's in mobile view or not.
Now, does anyone know how to diagnose what's wrong and/or fix this?
Would anything meaningful show up in the log file?
goatse.cx crashes my browser, as does lemonparty.org...
Just sayin'.
Crashed my stock 2.2 Evo back to the 4g screen.

Hey, I've had this problem on a few Android builds (MDJ Matted 1.4 and MDJ Froyo Revolution 1.7); When I scan a barcode and press the web search function of the app, it works fine but when I return to the home screen Sense is always forced to reload. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, does anyone know of a solution or the cause? Thanks in advance.
Hi, after trying every single AOSP ROM out there, they all have this weird scrolling lag that when I hold my finger on the screen while scrolling, it seems to stutter, like the screen seems like its running at 20fps instead of 60. I remember some older builds of Omni and slimkat had it fixed but now they both have it back again. changing kernels and settings etc. does not work. Does anyone know a work around or something to fix this?

I've been having a similar issue where UI transitions get bogged down and it looks more like 0.1 fps. I have to put the phone down and let it catch up for minutes at a time. Sometimes I have to reboot the device to get things cleared up.
I've tried all kinds of kernel/rom combos with no success.
Is anyone else having this issue and more importantly, did you find a fix?
It seems to only happen when there is some sort of transition going on... keyboard coming up, notification drawer going up or down, swiping away notifications, bringing up recents, exiting an app, opening an app, etc...:silly:
Thanks much.

Did you manage to find out what is causing this or fix it somehow? I think I experience exactly the same thing on my d802 using Mahdi 4.4.2, but it did not happen on beta 1 but started happening ever since vibration was added to the rom starting from beta 2. Maybe some kind of conflict in how vibration is implemented on AOSP as it does not happen on CM 11 (CAF) or other CM based roms for me on d802.

Nope, haven`t used an AOSP ROM in about 2 months... I need that camera quality that stock ROMs have that AOSP doesn`t
I have built and flashed version 2.1 for my ZTE Open. It's faster and has some nice features, but I have some problems:
- FM radio no longer works. It is not completely broken as it can scan for stations, but there is no sound.
- Sometimes home screen stops working: icons dissappear and you cannot launch anything until the phone is restarted. This is VERY annoying.
- I cannot sync my caldav calendar. Might be and HTTPS+selfsigned cert problem. With version 1.4 I was able to sync it by adding a permanent exception from the browser. This trick no longer works.
Anyone else using 2.1 version? What do you think? What problems did you find? Any workarounds?

sounds like a buggy beta... It isn't stable so I'd stick with 2.0.... In on 1.3 still so all is stable.
What's 2.0 like? I would like to try someday. .BTW I'm using ZTE open C fxos1.3
