works like a charm on Cyanogenmod 7 RC4, even lockscreen commands, replaced old music.apk with new one in system/app (s-off or via adb)
enjoy!
cheers
I agree it works great - a big improvement from the previous leak.

Larger than Winamp (7MB as opposed to 3MB once installed)
How did you get the lockscreen commands working? I had nothing. I'd maybe use it then as it does look nice, but Winamp has a better widget, plus lock screen.
It is force closing on my desire using gingervillian... any ideas?
it is working on my Viewpad 10s not optimal but useble..
Mine keeps saying "application not installed". I'm using oxygen 2.0.3. Any ideas?
I cant get it to install. I says application not installed everytime. I read somewhere that i has to do with the fact that i installed the older leaked version. How do i remove the old version completely?

Yes. That would be nice.
Not good... tried a few things.. looks ok .. uninstalled
buggy on oxygen 2.0.3
I really liked the interface though it is quite minimal so it's a shame that:
interface is slow to load and lags (not just on first load)
scrobbling gets very confused (last.fm doesn't know what to do and flashes scrobbling notification repeatedly).
uninstalled.
edit
downloaded a different version from some forum after reading an article about syncing music with latest music app. seemed to work very smoothly indeed.
I installed the one from here: Official Android Music 3.0 Beta! Get It Now!.
It works fine with the MIUI 1.4.8. But I'm missing some features like sleep timer, editing ID3-Tags. But I like the interface.
Is there a way of making this the default music app and having it work with the HTC Lockscreen? I Like it other than that.
I don't like it at all. It looks quite cheap compared to the older version... and compared to other players, including the stock HTC music player. Also, why so laggy?
thanks for this...
gooooooooood

This is the general discussion thread for Android 4.1.x Jelly Bean for A500.
CM10 randomblame's Jellytime
CM10 civato's JB 4.1.2 FLEX v6supercharged
CM10 pjsports's rom
CM10 builds from wds :unmaintained
Jelly Bean Gapps:
Latest gapps
Gapps full list.
Troubleshooting:
The unlocked ICS bootloader is required.
If you encounter an error during the flashing process use another recovery, TWRP is known to cause problem with this rom, a CWM based recovery should do it.
If you have problems with the Google Play Store after a bit, uninstall updates for it.
If you want to avoid the lockscreen bug, you can disable it in settings-security.
Report bugs & issues with your attached logcat in the development thread.
How to logcat?
I haven't tested all features yet. The only thing that does not work is face unlock so far.

runs really smooth this is awesome, but I can't get google play store to open, going to try and reflash GAPPS.
@lowsum, thanks for taking the initiative.
I will ask that you maintain the OP, providing some info ie FAQ, links for gapps etc
Will get a thread opened up in dev later today...
You guys may need to track down a better jb gapps package to use, I think the one listed in the thread is causing a lot of the reported issues...
Only issue...
Excellent start... so impressed!!
Only issues I have is with percentage battery not showing in status bar and an invisible slide on wake up. It works but can't see it... a little tricky but no deal breaker.
Huge congrats on a fine and rapid effort!
*EDIT* Odd... as if by magic, the slider is back! Only thing I think I tried was rebooting a few times AND turning off BOTH screen animations on wake / lock... Weird, but happy now!
My test results
Flashed CM10+gapps.jb.20120717. GMail and some other Google apps are not included and you'll need to get those separately from the Play Store.
SOFTWARE: Market apps did not auto restore; but all of them were able to be manually installed with no errors. I used ICSBrowser with Thor's ICS ROM...this app does not work in JB. GoogleNow, Netflix, and YouTube work great. Alternate launchers also work great.
HARDWARE: The rotation lock toggle doesn't work, but there is a quick setting option for that anyway. Sound works flawlessly. External Seagate 500GB hard drive works. Acer USB mouse works. Acer BT keyboard works. DSLR Controller works with my Canon EOS Rebel XT as far as reading the memory card; but cannot capture images which was no different in ICS. I could not get a GPS lock with GPS status nor could the Navigation app get GPS.
I have not tested any games yet. I'll load up some of my favorites tonight or tomorrow and report back.
THIS IS EASILY A DAILY DRIVER. Many many many thanks to WDS!

as for the hardware rotation lock, i need to port my code over. as my birthday is now over, i hope to have some time in the next week to do it.
@waydownsouth: My pleasure, I will maintain this thread no problem. That's the least I can do. Keep it up, it's working amazingly well already.
On my side GPS doesn't work, lockscreen sometime disappears and like most rom since ICS there's some screen flickering noticable on low brightness and dark color (kernel related I think). Battery percentage is also not showing in status bar. I had a couple of browser crash, but it was with Quick ICS Browser wich has been updated to support JB.

There's a lot of CM9 code still to be ported to CM10, things will get better as things go on.
GPS is still very broken, there have been some permissions changes in how the gps lib communicates with the native proprietary daemon... I have a workaround in mind, just need to get it implemented...

This is an awesome ROM! Thanks to everyone that has put work into this. Just to report on three issues I have found:
-Gmail app crashes every darn time. The app seems to be a hot mess.
-The unlock screen seems to go "invisible" after the tablet has been on for a while. You kinda have to guess where the button is and swipe.
-I use a bluetooth keyboard. Normally the touch keyboard goes hidden when BT keyboard is connected, but not in this AOSP ROM.
Thanks guys for the awesome work.
For a first build this is awesome! Even camera works!!
I'm using it as a daily.
I do have the following issues. (This is not a complain, I'm thoroughly impressed with this rom, this is just me reporting the issues i've experienced so far)
1) GPS doesn't work.
2) Gmail, calander, and Reddit is fun GP crash occasionally. Here is the gmail logcat: https://www.dropbox.com/s/taavl8kacv23q2z/gmail-logcat.txt
I think this is those same memory leak issues we had in the ICS rom.
3) after a while the lockscreen becomes "invisible", but still functions. In the mean time I just disabled it.
4) When importing photos from a DSLR into gallery over usb the new photos do import to the tablet but do not get added to gallery. It took an hour and two reboots before they showed up (no matter what i tried).
5) despite being set to "wifi always on" wifi disconnects during sleep
6) Plugging in a usb keyboard does not hide the onscreen keyboard
Awesome work fantastic rom!!

Just tested it, and it works flawlessly!
Tested the hdmi, audio is not working (it did in hc3.2)
My screen, after wakeup, is black after tab has been asleep for more than a minute. I have to press power button to restart tab every time. I have turned off animation for both on and off.
Thanks

Hi
I installed yesterday unofficial CM 12.1 on my A2001 OPT @Grarak http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/orig-development/rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3185511) and first impression for now is : WOW, what a fast device finally (when you don't have Oxygen OS on it) !
That said, i experience some bugs and i will use this thread to report them.
This thread last update on 09/30
Note : I didn't test several last builds. I can't actually. I will soon but for now I can't flash back CM ROM for banking reason (an app on Oxygen that allows me to authenticate myself to my bank account).
Last @Grarak build : 09/29 => DOWNLOAD
@Grarak build changelog : LINK
Issues
LED notification
Bugged i think : i set some colors for several apps, and the colors are wrong, and the frequency of blinking too. So I assume there is something going on with the LED
Snapchat
Lagging HARD-CORE. Like unusable. I had to enforce the shutdown of the device (it was not responding anymore). That happens at the launch of the app, not on a particular action
Home button
Sensitive button is not quite responsive when the phone is in standbye mode. I often have to retry like 3-4 times to wake up the phone, or push the lock button which work well. I don't talk about fingerprint, i already read it's planned or at least devs know about it (Android M should bring us some answers)
Airplane mode
When the phone goes out of airplane mode, no SIM found anymore. Have to reboot the device to see the SIM again
Network
Sometimes, i wake-up the phone and it is on limited (" ! " symbol) network mode. Wifi is disabled, network is found, but no data whereas i was in LTE 5min before, at the same place. The only way to recover my data service is to reboot since i can't put airplane mode (bugged, see precedent bullet-point)
Call
When a call is incoming, the phone is ringing but the screen doesn't wake up.
During a call, switching ON the speakers doesn't work : it switchs off the ear-speaker, but no sound comes from external speakers
Missing features
Double-tap on screen should wake it up
I will update this post if I find some new issues.
Thx for your work guys, it's awesome.
- Soft-reboot also causes no SIM card to be found.
- Issues connecting to LTE. So far I have only seen H or H+.
I can also confirm everything that Gjdass reported.
Running the 20150913 build.
That's some major issues
I think we have to wait for the official CM 12 build.

Did anyone ask CM for an official build? Maybe they won't create one, because of dispute with OnePlus and their OnePlus One device, something like revenge :/

Nobody can "ask" for an Official release. And since CM is not the official OS of OP with the second phone, there are no reasons for CM to release an Official CM. It will only be a fan-built OS (which can be great !).

Yeah indeed, but Grarak is developing for free, like the whole community. So we just have to be patient. :good:

Yes I know. Therefore I wouldnt ask for CyanogenOS but for official CM!
- Same Snapchat bug using _any_ barcode scanner, the phone starts lagging even if you kill that app. Hard reboot only solution.
- LTE seems to work but not so good, sometimes it is ok but often a only get 3G where with the same telephone but oxygenos i get LTE (italy).
- Double tap it's a nice feature like the "V" for the light and the "O" for the camera.
Hi.
Here is a build from @Grarak sources made on September 20th by @gavinhungry (his post link).
ZIP link
Change-log :
Code:
09/20 [21a5600] Set bfq after boot
09/18 [341facb] audio: Fix speaker during call
09/18 [23b396a] Use prebuilt lights and add fingerprint blobs
09/18 [86f7c79] oneplus2: Cleanup useless audio config files …
09/18 [17ab8a2] oneplus2: Add LTE and CDMA APN options overlay …
I didn't test it for now.
I encountered a bug where my phone reboots if I'm out of signal area. Was very confused at first when I went into a basement and my phone began rebooting repeatedly D:
Snapchat
Does anyone know why the snapchat bug is happening? I think it is related to the kernel, and that is the only reason I am staying on oxygen is because of snapchat is one of my daily-used apps. Cm is alot faster than oxygen and I wish the bug was sorted out asap.
Some of these issues have been fixed with most recent build. Specifically the gestures options like double tap to wake and loudspeaker for calls.

Hi there,
i have just installed cm 12.1 on my OPT. It works very good for a beta version. Now i have my features back. Oxygen is nice but not that good as CM.
I have question. i installed the newest version vom graka. when i start my phone and unlock it, i get the error that the "clock has shutdown" and press ok.
the whole toolbar with the clock, power, 3G connection and wifi icon is gone. i have to swipe it down to see it. does anyone has this problem?
i have also another problem with the wifi connection. i have a fritz box and i used channel 12 for the the wifi. the phone with CM cant find the wifi router with channel 12 or 13. i switched to channel 10 and the phone find my wifi router. maybe there is bug or not programmed yet. does anyone also have this problem?
many thanks

I have tried to use 2-3 barcode scanner apps and also paper camera. All of the cause the phone to become very unresponsive, and if I let it sit for a little while, 20-30 sec., i can feel it geting hot. I am guessing it is caught in some kind off loop.
hope someone from the developer thread read this.
Built in e-mail app
On all my other CyanogenMod devices, the built-in e-mail app can handle active-sync/Exchange accounts like hotmail.
On my OPT, the build in e-mail app can only handle pop3 and imap, i know Hotmail can be set up to as an imap account, but i do not want to do that.
Anyone know a fix for this ?
I know that the gmail app can handle active-sync/Exchange, but I just have a better experince with the build-in e-mail app.

Can't answer that i use to use Gmail app mate :/
For those claiming LTE works on a CM 12.1 build, can you verify this with an app like LTE discovery?
Then list the band that is working.

To fix the clock problem, go to Settings -> Apps -> All (tab) -> Clock and then clear the Cache and Data for the App. You can then restart the app and it will work and the error will go away.
so want to ask you guys that are u Facing these issues related to software same as me ??
All the apps are not latest updated like dont kno why but all apps are updated but are sometimes missing features like chrome is to latest but same version is on my other op5 and that resulted in a bottom address bar but not in MIA1
when we are in landscape mode many times the headsup and the notification panel is pulled from the top left side (if rotated as power button is facing sky)
In instagram like there is no option for superzoom am on beta also ..i installed app after sharing and then it worked for 5-10 min on app close and destroy it reverted with no superzoom
most of the apps are not to latest version and cant get updates if we check
some small freez sometimes
worst is the google old dialer even the caller photos are not seen
I AM ON LATEST DECEMBER
If you guys have same issues then its ok mi is lacking otherwise tell me the solutions :crying:
1. not aware of any such app
2. didn't notice this, but I'm not using phone in landscape much
3. not using Instagram
4. didn't notice this, all my apps get updated regularly (though I hope you're aware of staged rollout of updates)
5. not a single freeze experienced
6. by default we have AOSP dialer which lacks some features, Oreo should come with standard Google dialer
Yes the bar in landscape goes from top left instead from center. Dialer is pissing me off too, but it just is supposed to call. Didn't notice any freezes though.
Yes and no for all your issues? You're cocky, aren't you?
1. Nothing like that here. Check your internet connectivity.
2. Haven't noticed.
3. I don't use vanity fair related apps. Still, out of curiosity I've checked Instagram and everything works - but I'm using the last stable December update.
4. Again, check your internet connectivity.
5. Haven't noticed any freezes so far.
6. The Google Phone app will be included as part of the Oreo update which is coming soon.

No issue with updating apps here.

No Instagram, not sure.
No issues with freezing after updated to December.
No one calls me. So....
Anyone using Android Auto with the Oreo ROM? Wondering if there are any issues or if Waze and Dialer will work properly now?

I'm currently using it, the dialer issue is still there (I am using the modded Google dialer from Martin.077 to solve that problem).
Waze behaves the same for me as before - works fine for about a month, sometimes longer, and then one day just black screens and then the only fix is to re-install Android Auto.
I now also have a new problem with Google Play Music with the Oreo update - it does not output any sound when connected via Android Auto. Navigation prompts still work though.
The fix is to use an equalizer app - no idea why it works, but it does, I'm using Equalizer FX.
So yeah, no issues solved, and one additional one added in my case.
