i tried flashing the new gingerbread 2.3.3 software update to my Xperia X10a but while it was in the process, it said flashing aborted, unplug etc... when i turned on my phone all it did was go to the Sony Ericsson screen, then it turned off!!! can anyone help me fix my phone!?

It appears because I'm a noob !
I tried to restore system + data from my 2.1 backup !
Then the phone rebooted and rebooted again. (block with the text sony ericsson on the screen)
But I've passed through.
Fortunatly xRecovery was installed and accessible.
I've pluged directly the sdcard to the computer and copied the rom from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192988
Then pluged again the sdcard in the phone and installed the rom from xRecovery.
I'm currently reinstalling the official update.
Got the same problem here... Im still finding a solution, but no success

i was on indian 26 firmware before then with da help of rooting i updated to nordic 2.1 everything was fine i could make calls n all n i did reset to my phone after tht it stoped recognizing my x10.i used repair option 3 times still not able to recognize my phone so with the help of EXPLOID one click root thought of going back to 1.6.
now the problem started i went on to cmd prompt n selected option 1 to instal generic 26 firmware after it showed me test end i disconnected my phone n i restarted it n now the prob is it showing me black screen n the phone is continuously vibrating pls help me i want my phone to get switched on pls

luckly i used nordic_flasher n did n now its booting im on 1.6 but again the problem is its not recognizing my simcard(indian). is it cox im using nordic firmware ??
i updated to 2.1 and the problem is still there my simcard is not recognizing somebody pls help me..how can i flash back to indian 26 firmware..pls

as explained in the instructions I root my E15i xperia x8 in 2.1 then I installed xrecovery. the system boot well on Xrecovery. I even created a backup.
The problem is that after trying to flash a custom ROM>> error while formatting the boot .... apparently the rom was not ok. After rebooting the phone boot loop on the Sony Ericsson logo.
I tried to go on xrecovery = faillure, and the only way to stop this is to disconnect the battery.
can you please help me to RESET my phone.

Hello, i have same problem as "achrafus". My phone after instaling MiniCM7-2.2.0-shakira is stucked at Sony Ericsson loading logo. It appears white, but after 2 sec it goes gray(maybe contrast). I cant go to xrecorvery, cant turn off the phone. I just can turn it on and then disconnect battery. Is there any way how to solve that problem ? ( Sorry for my english.)

It's a soft brick. Use PCC/SEUS to recover whenever you have a soft brick.
Its a soft brick because he doesnt kno how to read , minicm7 requires nAa kernel -.-

My friend has got the HD Mini and put Android on it. After AD crashed some programs didn't work after restart and so he wanted to install a new ROM on it. Everything worked fine until the installion got 100% suddenly the screen got black and showed this message:
Software update failed.
Please try again.
He tried again but nothing worked. No reset, nothing....
Can anybody help ??
Try to put a original Rom, first take out the battery, put the battery again, tham old the volume down, push the power buton, the screen will be in three colors, connect the usb cable, and flash the original Rom.
You need to download the original Rom, from the Htc site, with the Hd Mini serial number.

Okay I did as you said, but we only got Error [276].....
And the tricolored screen doesn't look normal

it's the update error.just make a soft reset and launch the Ruu again.
ps:do you flash you device with the original rom?

We used the original ROM but always the software update error appeared.
My friend can be lucky that he's got guaranty so he sends it to htc...

Procedure with the stock rom with activesync, having your screen, absolutely does not work, 'cause in your situation is corrupt to boot. With SDCARD method avoids the problem and create the boot from sdcard-

I am having problems with my phone.. I tried to upgrade the ROM to gingerbread 2.3 and I followed the instructions in this forum in upgrading the phone. However, when I was in the xrecovery mode to continue with the update, and searched and installed gingerbread from SD it says "successful" then rebooted the phone. but after Reboot m phone is stucked in the "Sony Ericsson" text, not even getting through the sony ericsson logo..
I tried the repair from PC Companion but the download is not going through for the update software, it always say that there is a problem with my internet connection but my internet connection is fine, I am able to connect to my emails and social networking sites..
Hope someone will help.. please...
If PC COmp doesnt work, try SEUS otherwise register at wotanclient. its free to flash...

My 1.3 focus is stuck in the Samsung logo screen. It lloks like it is in an endless reboot as the logo will go away for a moment then reappear.
I am able to get the phone into Download and Format mode with out issue.
I have also been able to succesfully reflash the original firmware without issue, but the same result none the less.
Any ideas on this?
I had put the mi7 ROM on which worked fine. This morning phone was stuck on the logo. I reflashed the mi7 without issue as well before trying the original Samsung ROM

i have this same problem with my focus its also ver 1.3
i had an error on the mango update (usb cable bad apparently) according to the code, and after the failed update the phone was acting stupid and cutting out when it wants so i flashed the phone with the rogers rom, and it worked fine attempted to do the mango update again in a diff usb port and got the same error so i went to reflash the phone again so i could get my mate to try his cable the flash seemed to go through with no issues until the first reboot, then instead of getting the connect to computer screen i just got the samsung logo flashing up then restarting and flashing the samsung logo again i have tryed to flash again with diff versions of the tool and original rom and rogers rom many times but still get the same thing the only strange thing is that i cant get into the hard reset mode i can get into download mode fine but not format it just flashes back to the same flashing samsung screen Please Help or is the phone Buggered at a wild guess iv got a problem with the internal memory ??? Lost and need help

I see. You're the 4th person I encounter having this problem after flashing magldr. You should ask in the magldr thread. I'm not sure if it's really magldr related but I don't see anything else that could cause it...
Make sure you specify there your revision(3/4)/ as well as OS version.
