as explained in the instructions I root my E15i xperia x8 in 2.1 then I installed xrecovery. the system boot well on Xrecovery. I even created a backup.
The problem is that after trying to flash a custom ROM>> error while formatting the boot .... apparently the rom was not ok. After rebooting the phone boot loop on the Sony Ericsson logo.
I tried to go on xrecovery = faillure, and the only way to stop this is to disconnect the battery.
can you please help me to RESET my phone.

Hello, i have same problem as "achrafus". My phone after instaling MiniCM7-2.2.0-shakira is stucked at Sony Ericsson loading logo. It appears white, but after 2 sec it goes gray(maybe contrast). I cant go to xrecorvery, cant turn off the phone. I just can turn it on and then disconnect battery. Is there any way how to solve that problem ? ( Sorry for my english.)

It's a soft brick. Use PCC/SEUS to recover whenever you have a soft brick.
Its a soft brick because he doesnt kno how to read , minicm7 requires nAa kernel -.-

i tried flashing the new gingerbread 2.3.3 software update to my Xperia X10a but while it was in the process, it said flashing aborted, unplug etc... when i turned on my phone all it did was go to the Sony Ericsson screen, then it turned off!!! can anyone help me fix my phone!?

I tried to restore system + data from my 2.1 backup !
Then the phone rebooted and rebooted again. (block with the text sony ericsson on the screen)
But I've passed through.
Fortunatly xRecovery was installed and accessible.
I've pluged directly the sdcard to the computer and copied the rom from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192988
Then pluged again the sdcard in the phone and installed the rom from xRecovery.
I'm currently reinstalling the official update.

but nothing...the phone stay in the Sony Ericsson logo in start up...
Pc Companion has some problem to put a "resolving soft"...because he don't understand that is an xperia x8!

Read through the x8 q&a and general section, if you can access any recovery, xrecovery(repeatedly press back button at SE logo) or cwm(repeatedly tap screen at SE logo) then you can restore your phone, if not then use pc companion to repair your phone.
Flash a rom with flashtool u can google it or look for it in these forums. That way i fixed mine that was stuck at se logo without xrecovery like you.
First time i bricked my phone, after recovering from the shock xD, i used this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12442257#post12442257
Its quite simple to follow, there were heavy files (280mb aprox) that for my internet connection was like 2 hours of download, but well, just follow the second part (flashtool one) and youll recover your phone!

Hello.Today after i flashed Linuxperia and started my phone,it stuck on Sonyericsson logo.i kept a backup of course.but the main problem is that Xrecovery and Clockwork Mode doesnt open on boot.I havent "touched" my kernel so i installed the version with the stock kernel.but the phone stuck on the sonyericsson logo.can anyone give me some advice to solve this problem?

Thats sometimes happen. Dunnow why but i had it once or twice too Just reflash ur phone with SEUS or PCC and then root dueal recovery.. ya know what I'm thinking

You already flashed the nAa kernel or any other custom kernel? MiniCM doesn't work on stock kernel.

Firstly , Your's is a soft brick. Easily recoverable. Use PCC/SEUS.
Open PCC
Under "Support Zone" , click "start"
Start " phone software update"
Click "Repair Phone"
Follow the subsequent steps... Your phone is recovered.
Secondly , Only flash ROMS which are meant for stock kernel (I presume you have not unlocked bootloader)
Do NOT flash a ROM if it does not support stock kernel.
Thirdly , this is a "General" section. Not a "Q&A" section. Be careful next time
Obiviously he is on stock when he mentions stuck on xperia logo....
