Are there any battery monitoring apps that work? - Acer Iconia A500

I've tried Battery Graph and Battery Monitor Widget. I discharged my A500 to 10% then charged it but it didn't record the charge, the graphs just show a solid horizontal line during the whole charge duration. Are these apps not honeycomb compatible or something?

1-2% discharge of X1 battery after removing it from charger?

Ever since I have had my X1 then I charge my X1 eventough it says 100% in the display, then I remove it from the charger it suddenly says 98%.
Whats up with that??
The modded battery driver is not accurate at high percentages. Your Battery isnt discharging. The displayed percentage is not 100% true .
Just plug your phone again for several minutes and it should display 100%

MY Tab stops charging 99%!

MY Tab stops chrging at 99%! And when it is pluged to charger battery percentage is stoped at 99%. What the reason might be? After i recharge it from about 95% and it finish charging.
sorry for my bad English.

Same on most tabs. I think thats to prevent the battery from overcharging.
I believe the charging circuit shuts down when the battery level reaches 99%. It's a safety feature to protect against overcharging.

thank you for explanation, I thought it was my Tab problem... Now I'm calmed
It is able to charge to 100%, just that it needs sometime. Mine took about 1 to 2 hours to reach from 99% to 100%. After reaching 100%, you will see the indication with battery icon (full bar) on the notification bar (on top of the screen).
Battery life will be optimized and you won't see drastic charge from 99 to 90% within mins.
Double entry.

That is true. To increase lifetime u should always charge it to 100%, for me it takes 1hour from 99% to 100%,

[Q] Battery Calibration

Hi everyone!
Wondering if there is or are anyway to calibrate Omnia battery? I think it is draining too fast, first i left my phone charging for 5hours to completely charge and just send 1 message and download Samsung App "Now" and in 1 hour since has now 92% of it. I use brightness in minimun, use Edge connection and nothing more to spend so much...in moment im using "mirolg" mi7ROM mango 8107 DFT, great by the way!
Any ideas?
Thanks!
after each ROM flash i recommand the battery dicarger tool from MS Market Place.
really it works, really! It allow the battery circuitry to calibrate to the right energy level.
After flash a ROM, I let the battery completly discharging and then I charge my device for minimum 8 hours. then on 30% battery level I repeat this process. my battery has 40 - 50% longer life with the same usage.
"Even though lithium batteries don't have the memory effect issue, they still have a phenomenon called state-of-charge (SOC) mismatch. Battery Discharger employs various hardware resources available on the phone to discharge the battery power at a faster but controlled rate. Charging the phone completely from this state would allow the microprocessors on the battery circuitry to recalibrate and start reporting accurate energy levels.
Battery Discharger is a smart app that lets you discharge the battery of your phone at various discharge rates in a controlled manner. User can configure Battery Discharger app to use one or more of the following hardware resources to achieve the optimum discharge rate"
Thanks for your suggestion, miro!
I tested the application you mention and it works really well.
First thx miro for a great rom, this tip gives me 4 Hours more power !!!

the NC battery has only 11%

NC's battery can be charged, the indicator will turn green, the use of normal, but the NC battery has only 11%. Used wipe battery too useless with battery calibration (Battery Calibration not fully charged, so will charge and power correction off to the correction) is useless,I should be how to operate the battery to 100%?
Did you reboot your nook? The battery indicator is reliant on software so the software for it might of hung up. Keep in mind that software battery indicators only give you a best guess estimate as it is not an analog device attached to the battery. Batteries will fluctuate a lot during use, especially if it is a battery in an older device.
If that does not work try to upgrade your build on the nook color and see if that helps too.

thanks, my NC room 1.42, because the battery is only 11% can not install the official system, with a stable distribution CM7.2.Although the battery status display only 11%, but electricity can be used to 7-8 hours.
Reboot into cwm recovery and wipe battery stats. If none of that works you can try opening the nook and disconnecting the battery.

Is it a battery problem or something else?

I used my s7 edge pretty much since the day its released. I noticed recently, my phone stopped charging, or at least charged very slowly. And the battery drains very fast as well, it lasted around 2-3 hours on a single charge.
But it still charged very slowly. I run Ampere and saw It only charges at 400mA and dropped to 40mA sometimes. I checked my charger and cable, they all worked fine on my other phone, quick charge worked as well. I had the samsung charger, some third party charger and an external battery from anker, none of them solved the issue. It takes up to a min to charge 1% with the screen on, it won't charge at all. I turned off a lot of background apps but that doesn't solve the problem.
battery usage : screen : 19% andriod system : 16% android OS 15% WLAN 15% facebook 8% youtube 6% media server 3% cell standby 3% google service 3% soundcloud 2% chrome 2% google 2%
The android system battery usage is pretty high IMO. Is it causing the problem?

I'd try rebooting the phone, make sure all apps are 'off', along with Wifi and data, location, etc.
Turn the screen/phone off, not shut down. See what happens to battery drain then, with nothing functioning, effectively. Poor battery life, I'd probably be replacing the battery, given the other info you have provided.
Latest fw is absolutely no state to be publicly released killed my phone in addition to similar problems as above.
