first make a nandroid backup. now wipe data and cache in recovery mode. if you dont know then search here. if you know then after wiping data and cache use nandroid manager to restore your apps, sms, call logs, wifi and bluetooth settings. i dont exactly remember on how to fix it. you were supposed to replace a file in /data which holds the lock pattern info using adb

Iv posted this a few times but here it is again
flash the attachment in cwm with everything mounted
aroma file manager starts
goto data/system
delete gesture.key
delete password.key
reestart
thanks guys, i will try those. btw, the phone is asking for gmail account to unlock, and it always say incorrect username/password, but i put it all correct (i tried in my other device). i think it's another file to delete other than password and gesture key.
anyways, i will still try your suggestions
i deleted the gesture.key but still the phone asks for gmail account before unlock..

you don't need internet to use your gmail account to unlock, it uses your last set password stored offline
or delete gesture.key from /data/system with adb

yes i deleted it already. i entered my google account correctly (i believe), but still no success. sometimes it says, after entering username and password, that i should wait for 30 secs coz i entered the pattern incorrectly. and after 30secs, nothing.

did you change your password recently? cause if so, you should try your previous password

nope. i think i have to do the last resort. nandroid backup and nandroid manager.
Wiping data solves this problem.

My Note 4 was stolen but it had my Samsung account so I rapidly entered "find my phone" website and locked it was a message on it
My Question is Is this an imei lock or the Thief can just avoid it by flashing a firmware or ROM or wipe system with custom recovery
If reactivation lock was enabled they can't flash any new firmware AFAIK
I didn't get u right
I put a pin code and I didn't disable but I don't know If there was other methods the thief can use to enable it
The problem is he turned off the phone after that and along a whole week every time I entered "find my phone" website it give me that the connection is off the thief called me and blackmailed me for a pin and money "very stupid " so obvious he didn't disable the lock but The website still gives me that connection is off and I'm afraid if he can flash another rom or wipe the system and the lock from recovery and uses the phone again while I go to the website and I see the "off" sign

Sorry for your loss,Pin code is for lock screen only & it want stop person to flash & use, so if you have not enabled reactivation in settings by this time he must be using your phone.
no no not that pin code , I mean this remotely lock ( it just includes pin lock )

but I don't remember If I activated Reactivation lock or not
I'm sorry for what happened.
Some questions that may help us to help you:
1. When you use Find My Phone, can you locate the phone on the map or does it appear offline (meaning it's switched off)?
2. Do you think it was stolen or could it be that you left it or dropped it somewhere? I'm asking because if that's the case, there's a higher chance that the person who finds will return it to you.
3. Have you set up the options shown in the screenshot you posted? Have you set a message to display on the screen, saying that this phone was stolen and to contact you? You can also set a number the phone will be allowed to make calls to so if someone has your phone and wants to return it to you, they can contact you.
1 - yes after few minutes from the theft I could locate it
2- no unfortunately it was stolen
3- Yes I have set up these option with a message and my number and pin lock
Then I suppose all you could do is wait to see if anyone will contact you. Can you still locate it?
no I can't locate it
I didn't know if I checked Reactivation lock option but with my condition can the thief avoid the lock simply by flashing another rom
I think if you haven't checked Reactivation lock, then yes, they can flash another ROM, sorry.
If they do a hard reset on phone it will wipe everything and they can use your phone if it was unlocked if not call your carrier to have imei blocked

phone got stolen today.
1: can they reuse it easily?
2 will it ask for last used gmail account before setup?
3 phone is on stock rom, no root but with twrp recovery when stolen.
4 phone is pin and finger print locked.
not in my city so can't block imei yet, just want to know if its reuseable or not.
If your TWRP is not locked (with a pin) they can get access to all your data (except for accounts where you always have to enter your password). The question is if they know how to do that...
So I have a sim and an sd card on my phone, and when I tried going to unlock status, the thing succeeded and I was like, ok, cool. Except, when I ducked back in to the unlock status, it does the same thing with asking for permissions and preparing to add my account again. When I tried using the unlock tool, it says the account isn't bound. Is there a way to make it stick?
Edit
nvm, I tried using the official unlock tool and it works.
My Nexus 6p was playing up so I hit hard reset, when I tried to login it asked for pin or password then said pword correct but user data corrupted and to reset. I did that but I now can't remember the owner account I used I've tried myain account but it says it's not owner is there a way to reset or use it for anything else
