first make a nandroid backup. now wipe data and cache in recovery mode. if you dont know then search here. if you know then after wiping data and cache use nandroid manager to restore your apps, sms, call logs, wifi and bluetooth settings. i dont exactly remember on how to fix it. you were supposed to replace a file in /data which holds the lock pattern info using adb

Iv posted this a few times but here it is again
flash the attachment in cwm with everything mounted
aroma file manager starts
goto data/system
delete gesture.key
delete password.key
reestart
thanks guys, i will try those. btw, the phone is asking for gmail account to unlock, and it always say incorrect username/password, but i put it all correct (i tried in my other device). i think it's another file to delete other than password and gesture key.
anyways, i will still try your suggestions
i deleted the gesture.key but still the phone asks for gmail account before unlock..

i also tried it, but still nothing happens.

maybe there's another file to delete in /data.

you don't need internet to use your gmail account to unlock, it uses your last set password stored offline
or delete gesture.key from /data/system with adb

yes i deleted it already. i entered my google account correctly (i believe), but still no success. sometimes it says, after entering username and password, that i should wait for 30 secs coz i entered the pattern incorrectly. and after 30secs, nothing.

Wiping data solves this problem.

Please please help i am locked out of my phone
mj4y said: Please please help i am locked out of my phone Click to expand... Click to collapse I dont think there is any way to bypass an unlock code, however it was set. It is after all there to protect your phone from unwanted use. The only course of action I can sugest is to Hard Reset it back to factory settings which would erase the unlock code but would also erase all msgs, contacts, settings and installed appications on your phone. At least you would be able to get back into it though.
Sim Card Lock
Hey, I rooted a T-Mobile S4, and used RegionLockAway to get rid of being lcoked with T-Mobile. Any simcards i place into the device, it asks for a simcard pin. When I place the sim card in my Nexus 5, there is no pin and works flawlessly. What can I do? I tried deleting the data of the device and its still there. Thank you

Would reflashing the ROM work instead of having to factory reset?

wifi password not saving glitch529 said: Try to forget the network & reconnect again, tickmark the "Save Password" Click to expand... Click to collapse There is no such option as "save password". the only option available is show password and show advanced settings. I have checked advanced settings also but there is nothing which saves password. After every restart it ask for password for the same network which it was connected earlier. can anyone please help on this? I have tried flashing the stock rom firmware but still that has this issue, Even if I update to latest patches I still face this same wifi password issue. I have also tried editing the build.prop file (on rooted version) but that even worse the situation as it prevented phone from booting beyond the samsung animation and then i had no option but to download stock firmware and flash it. Thanks Ash

i need help with my g531h...i have forget my pattern and i need to unlock it without losing data but unfortunately i didnt have usb debugging on and frp lock is on.... can i have any solution to unpattern without losing data?? pls help
Why don't you try to reset the pattern? Fail a bunch of times and try to reset via Google Account. Or go to the Android Manager online on your pc and change the code. Just make sure your phone is connected to the internet!

Try calling yourself and pulling the notification bar down. Try using a flashable ZIP with stock recovery! I don't know if they use zip sign or not

I tried to install many roms, make wipe dalvik, cache and data format but it doesn't help. After restoring my earlier backup (auriel) I can log in to my phone only via fingerprint, 4 digit PIN don't work (Your PIN is incorrect). How to restore phone to default settings ? Format SYSTEM ?
