Hi Everybody,
i got my hands on a HTC HD 2 testdevice and made a Hardware review on my blog.
http://smartphoneblogging.com/2010/04/review-htc-hd2-hardware-impressions/
This is old news for HTC HD 2 owners, but hopefully interesting for anybody who plans to get an HTC HD 2. Any questions are welcome.
I will follow this up with an HTC Sense review, especially comparing the Sense experience on Android and Windows Mobile.
Bye,
Shahpur
Finally i finished my HTC Sense review for HTC HD2 too. I tried to present every HTC Sense app and made many screenshots in order to provide a detailed impression of this UI:

While i think that HTC Sense on the HTC HD2 is really a great WM Skin and enhanced windows mobile in many ways, the Android version is just more flexible at the end of the day. But it's not only about HTC Sense, because the HTC HD2's main selling point is the combination of great hardware combined with a neat UI, and therefore it is still worth a look.
I saw a post on twitter that HTCSense.com was now also supporting the Incredible. However, when I tried to create an account, only Desire Z and Desire HD were the choices of supported devices.
Has anyone had a different experience or been able to use it on their Dinc? If so, how did you do it?
Thank you in advance.
same thing on mine. was the twitter post from htc or some random person?
I would guess the twitter was by someone running a Desire HD rom. I have been using IncDoes HD rom and am able to use htcsense.com although not all features are working yet.
If you are running a port like the HD Desire port you can make an account saying you have a desire phone and it worked for me this way.
Ya I also had created an account on one of the roms I was messing with last week, but loaded uncommon sense so now its gone. But it has some cool features like remote wipe/lock. GPS phone tracker and you can send sms from the HTC site.
thats because uncommon sense doesnt use the new HD sense port. u have to be using a ported rom of the new sense for HTCsense.com to work....

Sense for Android powered HTC devices,as of now is not easily,if at all, available for us Touch Pro 2 owners who sometimes run Android 2.2 on our T.Pro 2s instead of windows mobile.Ive tried & HTC Sense i think will only work with the Snapdragon Processors, but i dont hav a device with a Snapdragon processor so i dont really know.I might wait for the 1.5 Ghz processor HTC will hav in some devices in the future.Because really, my T.Pro 2 is definetly the most useful, customizable, versatile device that can run any version of windows, old & new,Android, and i do all that with my T.Pro 2 that i flashed for use on Crickets Mobile network,& everything works great & Cricket doesnt even hav or sell any windows devices. So im extremely impressed with all the hard work evryones put into the developement of the Touch Pro 2.Such as roms, xdandroid, cht, maxsense, cool apps, etc, etc, etc,,,Thanks again evryone who helped.SORRY for straying off topic so much.Dont want u to think im tryin to hijack ur thread.Just greatly impressed with xdandroid developement for my T.Pro 2.Thanks,& if there is a way to get the Sense flipclock is what i want.
search for beautiful widget either in the android market place or online and you'll find that that clock looks almost identical to the sense flip clock... this is of course just for android NOT windows
htc are bringing out the thunderbolt for you guys in the U.S,basicly the phone itself is a lot like our Desire HD however could the rom itself have some improvements, extra features, could it be lighter than Desire HD,will it be Faster Than Desire HD,the other thing is it might be better for those who have the TMOUS HD2.the guys over on the Evo section have been trying it so is a port possible,Theres only one way to find out, port it

HTC Sense On The ZTE Blade/Orange SanFranciso
I am posting this on behalf of a Friend that wouldn't we able to do this without my help if it's possible, but also does not have an XDA account.
My friend has often said to me that he likes the HTC Sense on my HTC Desire, however he cannot afford the upgrade to buy a HTC handset, not even the Wildfire at the moment. After a bit of research of my own, I was able to find this video of what looks like someone running either a port or a very well themed 'theme' for the ZTE.
I was just wondering is there any way I can port the HTC Sense to the ZTE. At the moment the device is rooted and running 2.1 Debranded. Thanks
Please use the search before posting.
Sense ui possible?
On that note thread closed.
