Can you do this again without wifi on? All the great battery threads show them using wifi almost all the time. I want to know what real battery life would be, not battery life while sitting on my couch lol
The RC9 one on the ACS forum?
I'm surprised the battery life is that good!
I think I might give it a shot when it's finished/has a stock theme.

I am getting really good battery life on Unnamed RC10 ever since I switched to the EE03 modem, for some reason my phone gets really hot on the EF02 and EF10 modems and the battery drains like crazy.
Today/yesterday my phone lasted about 24 hours with over 4 hours screen on time, although I drove for 45 min, so it charged about 10% while in the car dock.
New release is out

Mine drained and stuff on the ec05 modem. The numbers I got above were using the EF10 modem. I'll have to try the ee03 modem when I upgrade to ACS Bamboozled today.

no need to! its a slick theme haha. You have options to customize the status bar as well the lockscreen! I personally use Widgetlocker and this theme gives me an option to disable the lockscreens included in the theme and only use Widgetlocker!
On every ef02 Rom, I can get a lock after a reboot. The key is whether it can keep the lock during 30 minutes of navigation, and whether it can get locks again and again without rebooting.

Ah, well in that case I think I might remember something about something allowing screens to scroll up and down as opposed to side to side. I can't think of any more specifics than that. Sorry man.

I ran it for a couple minutes and it got pretty snappy. Had a few gripes like texts coming through handcent had a delay in the notification and you have to delete everything to be able to reorder icons. Also...custom icons would be cool.

Wow! They really wanted to make it as authentic as possible! Right down to the loading speed. Incredible.
I tried it. It looked nice but that was just about it. It took 5 to ten minutes to load like said in. Previous post but sarts to lag as soon as I tried to do someting like going to app list or pinning to the front page or unpinin or use the app settings. It also force closed very often. Imagine waiting ten minutes fo ur launcher to load just so it could force close on you just so you can wait another 5 to 10 minutes for the launcher to start again. I might try it again when someone can confirm it force closes les often and it isn't as laggy

I ran it using mammons 1.04 dk28 and there was slight lag but not that bad. Maybe you have rom issues, just an idea. Why I'm not running it now was because the notification bar was too sparce for me, and its not ineractive as much as I would like, but its free and much easier than the alternative(lpp and desktop visulizer) which still isn't very interactive. If you want better I suggest a windows phone 7 phone, I hear some great things.

The launcher is not really that good.
Currently, the notification bar is just a picture (doesn't show the actual battery or 3G network connectivity). There's no live tiles; you can't change the color or even move the tiles around, etc.
I do hope it will be better in the future, but looking at the changelog of the OP's development in the launcher, chances are we won't be seeing anything for a while.

I am running epic experience 2.0.07. I wouldn't mind trying a windows 7 phone for a week but I don't think I can get as comfortable as I am with the epic with any other phone. Let's give some time for both this app and windows phone to develop then we can make new opinions about them again. Btw I don't plan on leaving sprint and I probably never will be able to cause I'm kinda lazy + I'm on a contract.

I'm on ACS ICS Beta 4. I want to say it's my apps but I don't see a glaring issue. Is it the phone signal? I noticed it was the only indicator in yellow. I'm not sure if it's good or bad.
Also, why is the phone awake for an 1 hour and 44 minutes but the screen was on for only 14 minutes?

Is the phone signal being in yellow mean that it's using more battery than the other functions?
Yeah, I've noticed since Sprint has started selling off parts of their 'excess' towers, that the 'time without signal' drain is -much worse- and kinda effects roms (like Bonsai) that have a fix baked in.

Well that too, but that was more of the electronics part of the camera when it actually takes the picture and then tries to store it in flash memory; I'm sure the kernel will need more tweaking, and since they used the tiamat kernel, I'm happy.

My best battery life on CM7:
I didn't get the screen on time but 54% is a good amount.
I was using the night RenderFX in CM7, thats why the colors are different.
I have a 3500MAh battery and i get like 30 hours of use 2-3 days standby with CM7 best rom by far even with OC kernel i get close to that with 1200Mhz cpu and 300Mhz gpu so i cant complain one bit and then i have the original battery as a back up so im good for almost a week. Best part is i only paid 7$ with free shipping for the bigger battery.
Just broke 4 hrs display time with CM7 and have 2 % left. Not bad.

In a nutshell it is supposed to resolve the dreaded lag in Android devices.
I flashed the flashable version and wow. I am literally seeing a HUGE improvement in speeds. Apps are just flying when opened. I am not even OC and I am running the new Team DIRT Dirty Unicorns. Just throwing this out there for those who want to give this a whirl. I highly recommend it so far. Will check back in a few (read "days") and give further impressions.

Just wondering, but is this best recommended for an ICS / JB rom? I could totally see this getting more popularity if that's the case.

Its actually for all Android. So I am thinking how fast this would run on say... Decks ReLoaded or Kendall's JellyBread. I am currently massively under clocking on Dirty Unicorn. Min 384 and Max 652 on MazWoz kernel. No lag what so ever!
The creator also allows devs to bake this mod in. Hopefully it gets picked up on our end. Might extend some life in our device.

We also saw great results when using this on our JB rom
It works on my evo and sg3 too! Haha! 4.2 goodness on both devices!

If you flashed v6 just go to terminal emulator, su, seeder. You should get the seeder options showing its on. The apk is not needed if you flashed the zip.

Dude, come on 88,after its installed you go to the app drawer and its right there, open it and set it to enable and reboot and man this app is the shiznit,i created my own jb rom, which had noticable lag and brother, smooth as butter now,the dev hit this one out of the park.
So this was posted in JellyBread https://plus.google.com/app/basic/stream/z12uw3ubrnjtwp0oo04chbkpywq3fxgrtrw0k
I asked to move all Seeder talk from that thread to this thread to avoid cluttering a ROM development thread with debates on this app. I personally am using it, released a ROM with it that is in Android development section. Not a single issue with battery.
In my experience. All that battery drain talk is complete crap. Some of them even admitted to not even wanting to read more in to it "Definitely sounds like a battery killer... I've seen articles around about it but haven't even bothered to attempt to put it on my phone or even read further into it."
LMFAO. If you will make your decisions for this app off this then ok :silly:.
I had the same battery life I had. The performance is greatly increased. I installed Better Battery stats and my phone goes in to deep sleep. It hardly stays at max cpu. All those negative claims are mostly false and probably just pompous devs that couldn't get credit for it.

OK I have it on my evo4g with jellybread. Using it after reading the posts on here. I downloaded it from the Market and the only thing I have did is turn on the two settings you see when you open the app.

Not really tricked, but like they said, they jumped the gun on saying this will fix all lag problems, its actually causing other issues when the tweak is doing its job,so they are working on a fix for this issue.
Issues:
There was no performance gain. However, the CPU did stay awake longer and my battery consumption went up from 0.6%- 1% to 2.2% per hour.Battery stats points to the CPU favoring 500MHz and not scaling down to 200MHz.Deep sleep was also an issue.
