Hi,
I'm using HTC Magic 32A motherboard
Android 2,2 version
Kernel Version : 2.6.35.4 cyanogenmod+
Mod Version : CM6-FroyoRedux-v1.9.5
Base Band version : 62.52s20.18H_3.22.20.17
I want to upgrade to Android 3.0
any one have idea how to do? please let me know.
Do you want a working, stable phone? If so then stay away from 3.0 till its more than just a proof of concept sdk port.
But somewhere buried in xda is zfreak and yoshua's honeycomb port. If you really want it, try that. And dont complain when its buggy as hell
thanks for your reply. what do u think for my device
Android 2.3? is it good. in my current version 2.2 Google voice call function is not available. how can i install that
I use ezgingerbread as my daily rom. Light and fast android 2.3.4

if is possible port android 2.3.7 for lg gt540?
i begin port android 2.3.7 for lg gt540
are there big changes to 2.3.5 and .6 ??
if not i think its possilble
the newest cm7 is 2.3.7 so probably murik will realese it soon... ;p
I hope so!!!, im really happy with the 2.3.5 anyway i will wait until this is official, also may have to wait a bit more just to hear how its work before install on my gt540 i dont wanna risk my phone
If we go longer for porting newest android versions and don't create new kernel port will be allways incomplete.
yes latest cm7 is 2.3.7 lease port... where locate source android 2.3.7?
where locate step by step insturction for develop android from source? thanks for reply.
I think their sources are updated to 2.3.7. That source can be later developed to suit a phone such as the LG GT540
EDIT: Official nightly builds of CyanogenMod have 2.3.7
I'm sure the devs will figure something out
Mur4ik just released RC5 and it says 2.3.7.
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
when using 1.6 ROM rooted some apps are not shown in the market like Whats app or Twitter... i'v tried a lot of patched markets and a lot of 1.6 ROMs in this forum .. can anybody tell me whats the problem ?
A lot of apps do not support android 1.6 anymore, most of them require 2.x and higher android versions, i would suggest you to flash 2.x ROM to get those apps..
I just want to recommend you Cyanogen Mod CM7 7.2.0 RC1 ROM. It's fast and smooth, good thing for your phone. I'd say that it's faster than stock 1.6 ROM.
A few days ago I installed Ice Cream Sandwich on my HTC HD2 and here the info I have on my About phone.

I used to have American Android i think that is like Cyanogenmod OS? The main reason why I switched to ICS is to be able to boot my phone straight to Android without having to to turn it on to Windows OS, then do the CLRCAD, HARET process in the Android folder.
I was told to consult a ROM chef because I've been having issues with the ICS camera and I tried installing 2 different cameras just to see how they work, umfortunately they were all slow, crashes and freezing, poor resolution as well. Some issues also with the Facebook and Instagram apps.
I hope somebody can help me with these issues. Is there also another operating system that will enable my HTC HD2 to boot directly to Android but have the same launcher or have the same format as to how the launcher looks like. Can you recommend other cameras to install in order to have better functions and quality.
I hope to hear form you guys. Thanks!
yea the cameras are unstable in ics and jb, but useable sort of, but i dont have any answers to your question, ,
however, just in case you weren't aware,
The main reason why I switched to ICS is to be able to boot my phone straight to Android without having to to turn it on to Windows OS,

there are nand versions of earlier ones, too, there's a nand version of the rom you were already running, if you want. You dont have to go ics/jb, if you are comfortable with gb, there are plenty of very stable, fully working gingerbread roms for nand.
To be honest, even with the term NAND i have little or no knowledge, such terminologies. What can you recommend that I do if i wanna replace ICS OS? and be able to directly boot to Android?
thanks again...
one of the best camera/ video out there is from MIUI & Mokee bot have SD & NAND version. ICS & up still have some issues with our HD2
try the link below it might help.
Hello guys.
Is possible to have android 4.0.4 on our tattoo?
I know that rallapag has made CynogenMod 9 and i saw wildfire has new version ported from lg p350.
Is it possible use something from that rom to improve rallapag version or maybe make some new version, and if there is possibility how can i help.
Thanks.
As mentioned previously by someone mainly arco68..there is no GPU on the Tattoo so there is no way...it is just too slow.
The EOL shall be on 2.3.7 on CyanogenMod 7...which is fast enough for daily use
