One signal bar issue nothing will fix - Atrix 4G General

I need some help. I get the one hspa signal bar with all gb Tom's except hktw rom. I've tried all the fixes and nothing works. I've tried kenns newest rom and new 4.5 stock rom still issue. Also tried cherryblur rom. 4 and. 5 still have issue. I can get it working on hktw rom with motor fastboot but that's the only rom with I'm confused why it only works for that rom with any ideas or help. I've tried flashing new radio that does not work neither does apn restore or custom.

What radio version do you have? That problem has only been seen using the 1.97 radio.

All though using 1.97 with hktw rom it works but I don't want to use this rom...

The Radio version you are using only works with the HKTW 2.3.4 ROM. In order for your phone to work properly is to either flash to the Stock AT&T 2.3.4 Offical Leak and use the radio that comes with that leak which should be 1.77.30P, or use a custom ROM such as Kenneth's 2.3.4 ROM also with the 4.5.91 radio (1.77.30P)

flash the new radio that came rom 2.3.4.... it was posted by kenneth.

Do you guys have a link for that radio this is driving ne crazy thanks for your help to much appreciated

Thanks guys that fixed it. I had to flash the sbf version as. Img was not working

Flashed Beta 4.5 and I got the one bar signal issue, tried flash kennethpenn radio:
1. Via sbf file got an error on RSDLite, didn't flash a thing.
2. With fastboot flash all went without error, but after reboot got into recovery showing some errors. Rebooted again and it appears baseband it's the same.
I got an Int. Atrix.
Anyone with same issue? Any advice?

I have 1 bar in H+ too. radio n1.100.00r. system 4.5.91 att
how fix this?

I'm not sure. I was running Baked Snack 1.6 before I flashed Froyo. I flashed the Modem first and rebooted before I flashed the ROM and it appeared to have signal. I didn't test 4G or GPS, but 3G appeared to be working along with WiFi.
K thanks!

I've heard you can.
I have used the dk17 modem with bs 1.6 with exceptional results.. way better signal and gps lock!

I have been wondering this exact same thing for a couple days now. I have bs1.6 and wanted the new modem. In odin, do I just put it under phone, or PDA? I don't need to flash a .pit file with it do I?
I've been using the DK17 modem with the Syndicate 2.1 ROM for a week now. Works great!
I am using the DK17 modem and the epic experience with the phoenix kernel and I can't download anything from the market.it just force closes.

When I was in the process of upgrading, I booted into 2.1 with the dk17 modem. Everything seemed fine, but I didn't test anything to speak of.

Modem goes under phone. Apparently it can be done without a pit but I've always used one.

Safe to NAND Restore fr GB to FroYo?

Is it safe to nand flash back to stock-rooted FroYo from leaked deodexed Gingerbread? I ask because I keep reading about folks needing to sbf to get back and the inability to flash other ROMs from the leaked GB. I guess what I'm not clear on is what the bootloader version matters, especially related to nand backup.

That's a great question.. I would like to know, too.
from what i have read on another forum, you need to sbf due to the fact that the kernels are different.
No it is not safe you will brick your device.

You flashed from gb 2.3.3 leak, back to froyo?
Rooted Droid X loving Gingerbread...

He flashed the madderstock.zip file. This is almost exactly the same as an sbf except it is in zip form. You CANNOT flash anything else from froyo or you WILL brick your device

If he got it from the TBH app it is the full system 2.3. 340monster zip. It CAN be flashed to get back to froyo BUT:
1) Maderstock zip CANNOT? They are two different filrs.
2)) if you want to go back to Gingerbread and you used the monster zip, you MUST sbf before doing so or you will likely soft brick your phone.
All this has been tried by experienced folks so the rest of us don't get surprises.

Beta 5 to stock 2.3.4

I have the Beta5 2.3.4 on my Atrix. Is there anything wrong or could go wrong going from beta to new stock 2.3.4. What's a good guide to follow to get up to that point?
FYI: Atrix (ATT) is Rooted and Unlocked
I would just download the stock images from kennethpenn's website, and then fastboot flash them onto the phone. There might be an easier way though
Yeah basicly the common suggestions are you flash to a stock image before going through and updating. You may be able to find a SBF image in the development forum.

k, sounds like a plan then. I think I'll just flash to stock like bearsfan172 suggested. I don't think I'll run into issues.
seems to be working fine

(Q) Gingerbread and flashing?

How do I get into clockwork? The magnifying glass thing doesn't work... I'm lost... I'm coming from a droid incredible this phone seems like a pain to root, I am rooted though

Flashing ROMs is done in Droid 2 Bootstrap.

BTW you need both rom manager and rom toolbox from the market to get the builds for the GB cm7, right now rev is the only one getting the nightlies out to download, rom manager doesn't support them yet, and don't download it from rom manager because it will brick your phone and you will have to load from sbf all over.

[Q] Lost Root.. can't regain... HELP

Ok, so my wife's phone has to go back to TMOBILE by Friday Sept 21st, I have Virtuous Affinity on it and I Unrooted with VISIONary not thinking that i should have flashed something stock first. I now cannot regain root for some reason using VISIONary or even flashing a PD15IMG through bootloader,,, I'm not comfortable at all with ADB, please help if there is another way. Anyone?

Is your phone still s-off?
Sent from my Toasted Marshmallow using Tapatalk 2
Visionary only roots the ROM. If you're still S-Off you have the ability to write to the partitions through adb or recovery.
Tell us what happens when you try to flash PD15IMG.zip

Still s-off... Flashing the P15IMG shows the progress bar on the right, then either reboots in its own or I reboot it... Still goes back to custom Rom.

I downloaded multiple versions including the 2.2.1, 2.3.4, and 2.34 (new) version... all those did similiar things, still not getting me back to stock. Does it make a difference that I have a custom rom with 2.3.5 on it?
Any other thoughts?

Why would it make a difference? Also, if it did, I would have asked you about it.
The only reason a good download will not install, usually, is if either you're on an unlocked bootloader from htc-dev, or something is wrong with either your bootloader or phone.
