[Q] HD2 Help please - HD2 General

I just got a HD2 from a guy on craigslist for $10.00. He said he thinks he bricked it trying to put Android on instead of Windows. Hasn't been used in over 2 months and I have the battery charging I hope. The light is not on showing that it is charging.
IF I can get a charge to the battery would anyone have any pointers on how to get this thing working again? Please let me know. Have a great day. And thanks in advance!

Well if the guy truly bricked it there is only two fixes for it. It will have to have either a new main board installed or have the SPL resurrected with a JTAG. No other options there.
If it is not brick which it is a good chance it is not cause as far as I know flashing Android to NAND on the HD2 can not brick the HD2 cause you are running a secondary custom bootloader for the Android while the original SPL bootloader is completely unchanged and operational. The only thing that can truly brick a HD2 is if it some how it came unplugged while flashing MAGLDR or cLK before installing the actual Android ROM. Or if it is a TMOUS HD2 it can be bricked by flashing a non compatible radio version to it, but that is uncommon as you have to have a 3.14 radio version for MAGLDR to even function and the same radio is recommended for cLK also.
Also just to let you know if it has MAGLDR flashed to it for the Android bootloader, the HD2 will not charge while it is off. This is the one major downfall in my opinion of MAGLDR.

Interesting. This will not charge at all. Was thinking of buying a battery on Amazon, but if it wont charge then maybe I should get a charging dock, put the battery in there and let it charge and then see what I get. Dang, wish I had a battery for this on hand LOL. Gonna have to wait a day to get something to work with. I will keep you in the loop!
If it is the latter and I can get the battery charged with an external charger is there any way to save the phone?

I seem to recall (I don't use Android on my HD2) that Android only charges if the phone is turned on. So an external charger may help.

If it has magldr 1.13 flashed it should turn on as soon as you plug it in.
Otherwise it may be as stated above.

I finally found an external battery charger and have plugged it in.
Should I let the batterycharge fully before I attempt to do anything?
Hell I don't even know if the battery is any goodsince it sat for 2 months.
Thoughts?

Well, I got the battery fully charged. At least according to the wall charger. Put it in and nothing. I"m gonna go to a store tomorrow and try a new battery. If that doesn't work any other suggestions?
And I have no idea which ROM the guy tried to put on.

I think the phone is dead.... you might be putting money into a hopeless cause.

Any vibration when you try to turn it on?
HTC HD2 Miui 1.7.8

Nope it does absolutely nothing. I did try the battery charger again.
When I put Tue battery on it showed no charge. I'm leaning towards the battery being toast. So ill go see if the local repair shop has a good charged battery. Might call HTC tech support and see if I can get them to hook me up lol.

So got a fresh battery and nothing.
Looks like I may have to jtag to save it. Anyone know how to jyag or have any links? I also read that putting it in the freezer could save it. Anyone ever heard of this and us there any validity?

WOW...I had it in the freezer since this afternoon. Took it out plugged it in and got the welcome screen then a screen with red, green and some writing on it.
Once I get to that screen what do I need to do next. I"m totally new to the HD2 scene. For the moment I don't care if it has Android or Windows (the original OS).
I just want to get it to working again. If there a firmware I can download to put on?
When IO booted it up I held the volume button down and the power button.

Ok first off if you do have to JTAG your HD2 in the end, just PM me and I will point you in the right direction to get that done.
Now seeing that you can get to the bootloader you need to download the HD2 NAND Toolkit v4.1. This toolkit by recognized developer ksubedi is a all in one NAND flashing toolkit for the HTC HD2. It makes flashing anything very simple just make sure to read ksubedi's instructions on how to use the toolkit in post #2 and the FAQ in post #3. You can literally flash anything to NAND with this toolkit. You can flash Windows Mobile ROMs custom and stock, you can flash MAGLDR and cLK, it can flash Clockwork Mod Recovery for MAGLDR and cLK, you can flash different splash screens, you can flash HSPL, you can run a Task 29, and it can repartition your NAND also.
Now you can download and try to flash what ever you want with this toolkit you just have to put your HD2 into bootloader and connect the HD2 to your computer and wait for the serial in the white bar of bootloader to change to USB. This means you have the HTC USB Sync you need to flash via bootloader and USB.
You can also flash via SD card be it Windows Mobile, MAGLDR, or cLK. Just check this thread to learn how to do this with Windows Mobile ROMs. Check out this thread to learn how to flash MAGLDR and cLK via SD card.
Remember if you go the Android route then you need to flash Clockwork Mod Recovery to flash Android ROMs via SD card and not just the the DAF for option #4 USB Flasher in MAGLDR.
Hope this helps some.

OK. So I finally got it on Tue "stick together " screen. I was also able to hold up and down volume and hit powerm it said it restored to factotum but is now in the stick together screen and nothing else has happened.
This time I also got the yellow charge light on while connected to USB. Its coming around but still now fully alive. How long should it stick on the stick together screen.
And windows can't find the drivers to actually read it's connected.
Thanks for all the help.

The "Stick Together" screen is the default splash screen for the T-MOUS HD2 (T-Mobile US HD2). The factory reset you tried did not work because you did not have a Windows Mobile ROM on the HD2. All the reset did was maybe restore the custom bootloader on the HD2 be it MAGLDR or cLK. But if it was MAGLDR it should altleast show the MAGLDR main menu. That is unless the HD2 does not have a 3.14.51.12 radio flashed to in in which case MAGLDR would not load.
What does iot sasy on the HD2 screen while you are in the bootloader? This will tell you if you have the proper HSPL flashed to use MAGLDR or if HSPL is on the HD2.
You will have to have HSPL to go Andriod or to flash a custom Windows Mobile ROM.

Sorry for the double post but I see you are online now so I figure it is better to make another post than to edit my last one.
Any you mentioned drivers, try downloading and installing Windows Mobile Device Center. This should give you the drivers for the HTC USB connection.

I can't tell if I'm in turn bootloader screen or not. What does it look like? Weird thing is....it wont turn in or off unless I put it in Tue damn freezer first for a spell LOL. What the heck would cause that

OK I have it on the multi colored screen and it says USB. Now what?
It says:
PB81120 HX-B3
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
RIFFBOX 0x05
RESURRECTED! 0x50
What do I do next

Bricked Phone - Did android NAND kill it?

My phone has been running an Android NAND for a couple of months, and the other day it just froze and then on rebooting i get a plain white screen.
I can get to the bootloader and so far nothing flashes to it
HSPL - Critical Error
SD-CARD flash - red numbers or just continual loading
USB flash - sits at 0% then gets error
so what killed my phone?
and is there ANY way i can get it working again, if not...i will throw it in the bin or perhaps smash it up with a hammer and post a youtube video here...im that annoyed! I wouldnt mind if i continually flashed roms, but i didnt...flashed on Android NAND and now its dead.
Find yourself a standard Winmobile rom and radio for the HD2 (if yours is a TMOUS device make sure you choose the correct radio and rom type for this device) and flash them to your device. With a bit of luck your device should then boot up.
If you then wish to go down the Android route again then read and follow all the instructions on here to do so. Don't forget to make sure your battery is fully charged before you attempt the reflash.
Good luck, hope it goes well.

hi,
the battery is fully charged, but this is the problem i have..i cannot flash anything to it via sdcard or usb both give errors.

Do you still have the Andriod ROM on your HD2? If so boot into MAGLDR by turning the HD2 off and then pressing andbolding down the power button. Then use the volume up and down keys to scoll through the menu and find recovery and press the send button to select.
If you nolonger have the Andriod ROM then I suggest running a Task 29 on your HD2 then try to flash the official ROM to your HD2. If you are still having trouble getting it to flash do not get discuraged just keep tring to get it to flash, heck trythe USB method for awhile then try the SD card method for awhile. For some unknown reason to me a lot of people here on XDA have been having trouble getting their HD2 to flash a ROM. But all of them just kept trying and eventually got it to flash a ROM. Best of luck.
tried and tried and tried again, anyone wants this brick for free, i will post.

Did you run a Task 29 on your HD2 as I mentioned in my previous post? I beleive this will help you out. Also if you still have MAGLDR on your HD2 you can try to reflash the Andriod ROM. If you no longer have MAGLDR on your HD2 then you can reflash HSPL 2.08 and reflash MAGLDR by usinig the bootloader and the try flashing the Adriod ROM. Just make sure the white bar of the bootloader screen says USB and not Serial before you try to flash anything.
T-Mac, I have this problem. It's not something as simple as with MAGLDR or CWM. You can't even get a bootscreen let alone flash anything from HSPL (everything sticks at %0) lol.
Dude, your best bet is to try go flash a custom WinMo ROM. I used one of Artemis' ROM's. It had a .nbh file so I renamed it to LEOIMG.nbh and put on my SD card (512-4GB max) and then boot to HSPL and it'll allow you to flash the ROM.
It'll flash correctly but once it reboots it'll go back to the white screen. After that, it'll be able to charge when off so let it charge overnight while off, then in the morning try unplug the USB from the phone then pull battery and put it back in then try boot. It worked like 3 times for me so you might aswell try it.
I personally think it's a problem with MAGLDR and maybe it becomes corrupt or something.
hi
im gonna try this now, but i have a small problem...it did flash HSPL and now it is on 2.08.000 and it wont flash back
its one nightmare after another.
made a little progress, when trying to flash stock rom from sd it just sits on loading.... no error but doesnt do anything else.
Try this turn your HD2 off and remove the battery for a couple of minutes and then put the battery back in. I do not know if the HD2 has a reset like this or not. But a lot of electronicsreset certain things when all power is disconnected. This may not help but what can it hurt. Best of luck.

I'll take it. In this day of T-Mo being sold off, I need a challenge to distract me and keep me happy

again and again bootloader

is there any 1 who have that issue?
i tried to search but cant find
i tried to back my hd2 from windows mobile 7 to 6.5.was have latest MAGLDR
then i flashed a rom
now problem
tried through usb,sd card, used a task 29 rom ,not real procedure of task 29
then again installed rom through card, tried almost 4 stock roms
but cant boot my hd2
still again bootloader
Have wired problem
any 1 have that issue?
Let me attempt to translate:
You had a WP7 ROM flashed on your rig then flashed a WM6.5 ROM and now you cannot flash anything via HSPL?
i can flash but after 100% done.i restart my phone its again goes bootloader
Like Orangekid I am a little unsure of your issue. Are you saying your HD2 keeps booting up into bootloader everytime you power it on? Or that you can not get a ROM to flash via SD card?
Edit: I just saw your other post have you checked toto see if your volume down button is stuck?
nop its not
so you get a successful flash then it goes to the bootloader or to MAGLDR?
Are you saying that you flash an Android or WP7 ROM then it goes back to to the MAGLDR screen or are you saying you flash a WM6.5 ROM and it goes back to the tri-color on each reboot?
That's weird if it tells you it flashes ok. Have you tried flashing stock WM6.5 via SD?
As far ass I know your volume down button being stuck or your bootloader being corrupted is the only thing that will cause hour HD2 to boot straight into bootloader.
Are you sure you mean it boots to the red, green, blue, and white bootloader screen not just to the HTC or Stick Together screen depending on your model HD2?

Hey yousufshah I talked to connexion2005 on the phone and we talked for a good while but he and I bothcthink youchave a bad block or two in your NAND chip as hechas tried literally everything and can not get it to boot up into the ROM, it just boots straight to the bootloader. He has JTAGed it multipule times and can get a ROM to flash via SD card bit still it boots into bootloader. He can not get a USB connection with the phone what so ever and I believe he said it is not even charging when he plugs it into the charger. I am very sorry t say this but your best options arecto replacecthe main board or just buycanother HD2. I promise you connexion2005 has tried his hardest to get your HD2 to work again. I am very sorry friend.

[Q] device is dead, ROM corrupted?

Hello,
I have a problem with my HTC HD2. It won’t boot any more. The strange thing is that I didn’t update or install new software versions.
I install a couple month back a android version. And that runs without any problem. To install the android (NAND) I have to install MAGLDR 1.13 and HSPL2.08.
Now when is start my phone, it shows the start splash screen. And that's it.
When I try to get in the menu of MAGLDR, it shows the version, install or release date then the white line, and the nothing anymore.
I’m able to open the boot loader (volume down ->power) but when I connect the USB cable, with 2 sec the screen is turns back.
As last escape, I format an SD cart (FAT32 default block size and also again with blocksize of16kb ), place the official HTC 1.66 rom,(rename the file to LEOIMG.nbh)in the root of the SD cart. Start the boot loader, but nothing happened.
I get the feeling that my ROM is completely corrupted. But I don’t know how to fix this anymore.
And now I hope that someone has a good idea that I can try to fix my phone.
Thanks.

The LEOIMG.nbh file that you placed in your SD card, did you place with it an RUU?
Are you sure your battery is not just dead? The thing about MAGLDR just showing the top art of the screen is kind of confusing though.
I know thos sounds completely crazy, but I would npt mention it if if wasn't for other members here having luck doing this. Get the LEOIMG.nbh file copied to the root of your SD card and ready to go. take and place your HD2 in a plastic bag that you can seal. Then put your HD2 in the freezer for like 15 to 20 minutes and then take it out. As soon as you take it out of the freezer boot it to bootloader and flash the ROM. If it works you may have saved it bit you will have to let it warm back up before you will know. If it does not mess up again after warming up you may not have a hardware problem what I kinda feel like is you have something wrong with your HSPL and thos is why MAGLDR is not fully booting up and if MAGLSR can not boot up your Android ROM will not boot up as MAGLDR is what boots the ROM. HSPL is what boots MAGLDR. TAhe freezer trick has helped people with stuck radios get a stock ROM flashed and people with overheating and processor connections to get a stock ROM flashed. I think it might help you too but I don't thinl you have hardware troubles as much as I do HSPL troubles. If the ROm flashes it will revert you to stock SPL but your SPL will be good again.
Hello,
I'm sure that the battery is in a good condition. a friend of my has the same phone. i try his battery and cable to be sure, and on my phone nothing works.
my battery in his phone, everything works.
i extract from the HTC original ROM update, the the rom file "RUU_signed.nbh". And that file i place on the SD cart. i rename the file to LEOIMG.nbh.
Is this the correct way?
i will try the freezer, i will let you know.
thanks for your response.
Hello
I put my phone in the freeze for 4 episodes of the big bang theory. Forget my phone..
But I can tell you that it was very cold to handle…
When I turn my phone on, directly start the bootloader. Then I start the update with the last original HTC HD2 rom. And that was successful finished. It works, and I didn’t thought that.
When it restart it shows the withe HTC splash screen and the radio version . but windows mobile wasn’t stated. Restart the device again, and now only the with HTC splash screen is showed.
I thing that my device is defect, and have to choice a mobile freezer or new device.
Thank..

HTC Does nothing after aMAGLDR V1.13 screen

Windows Phone 7 + MAGLDR V1.13
I boot up. HTC screen. Then MAGLDR V1.13 screen. Then another HTC screen (Windows Phone 7 HTC screen). It blocks there for quite some time. Then restarts. It's all it ever does. I can access MAGLDR V1.13 menu, no problem there. It was working fine yesterday =\
What can i do? Help :S
Reinstall the ROM and tell me what happens
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
What Radio have you got on your phone?
I would re-install your ROM as walidhazem suggested, but make sure that you do a task 29 first, then flash either radio 2.12.50 or 2.15.50 as these seem to be the 2 best radios for WP7.
What SD card have you got as your issue could be related to that. Do you have another SD card you could try? You could also try using SDFormatter to re-format your SD card and then try.
Let us know how you get on.
Thank you for both replies!
If the phone is connected to a power source while in the magldr screen, it charges right?
Just making sure phone could be at 50% more power or not. It's been charging all night.
as far as i remember it doesn't charge.. but even if it's less than 50% i usually do the flash.. just b sure it's not very low..

If you still have the magldr screen then boot in the rom. The reason it getting stuck is that the phone is too hot. Remove the battery for 1/2 hour then try again.
Do wait as the HTC screen is showing for a while until it loads the rom.

sudeep, how can i be sure it's not very low since i can't go the Home Screen.
FlowerPotmen, it's been charging all night, but i tried before that. It wasn't hot then. Also, i don't restart when it stops at the HTC screen. It restarts itself =\
Should i flash another rom? I'm afraid it can brick. If i'm to flash, I'll flash the WM6.5 Official.

No need to flash wm6 just use task 29, then flash-in maglder 113 again, then flash your favourite rom again. But make sure to re-format you micro sd card first.

I can't instal Windows Mobile Center since "i don't have" a Windows Mobile device. I need the Active Sync feature needed for the RUU files. Without that i can't sync Task 29 or any new rom. What can i do?
Go to bootloader and install Roms like you used to do when using ActiveSync.
(Bootloader: Power off phone > Hold volume down button and boot > when you see a tri-colour screen connect the USB and wait until "Serial" to "USB" )
^^
That was the answer to your previous post. But to answer your original question :
Restarting in WP7 is a common, incompatible sd card, issue, try to use another sd-card and reinstall WP7 again.
Guys, i managed to Flash the official rom again. I'm gonna stick with Android SD for now.
Thanks for all the help and tips. I really appreciate the help.

[Q] 2 dysfunctional HD2's Dont know what to do anymore

MY PROBLEM IS:I can't get the HD2 into the bootloader and/or get my PC to recognize the phone via WMDC.
Its just so unresponsive, All its doing is Vibrating constantly/Vibrating patterns/black illuminated screens/ & very rarely, the "Loading please wait" screen with the green android and some other figure I forgot in the bottom right corner. Then on the top it gets stuck on the "aMAGLDR v1.11" and other descriptive words/numbers below it, on the top center.
- INTRO -
Hi, I'm new to XDA-developers forum, and I have 2 non-working HD2's that have been sitting around for quite some time now.
I've recently tried to get it fixed and get into this type of phone modding, as I can see HD2's are very popular for tweaking software's and such.
I have been searching around the web, more so the XDA forums, for answers to my "Special case" (yes I've seen the video when you first sign up for an account on XDA, quite funny ) of a conundrum...
Anyway, 1 HD2 is fully dysfunctional and shows no sign of life (No vibration/lights) but the lower portion of the back does get warm when I try and charge it. I have no hope for this HD2 and I think its only good for spare parts for someone else.
The other HD2 is "somewhat" functional. Sometimes if I get lucky it vibrates continuously or repetitively.
What I know about the half functioning phone:
Let my friend have it, he did some flashing of the ROM, it stopped working after awhile, and then he gave it back to me because he got another phone.
Sometimes after turning it on, it gets suck on the "aMAGLDR v1.11" screen.
I've searched up "MAGLDR" and know that its some kind of custom bootloader or so.
I've searched up how to update it to "MADLDR v1.13" and update the radio and/or use the "RUU-LEO" file.
I have all those files&programs downloaded and ready to go.
Thank you for reading my thread
It would be AWESOME if someone could help me, or even inform me of what has happened with it. If you need further answers about my two HD2's please ask me the questions, I would love to try and answer them!

Those repetitive vibrations on starting are not a good sign(usually it means a non/working CPU/motherboard)!
You should flash a stock ROM and see what happens, but I suspect it won't boot up and you'll get again those vibrations: it worth try it and let me know!
Good luck!
Are you able to get to the tricolored screen by holding the power button and the volume down button? If you can get there, you may be able to task29 it and flash it with a new radio. My guess is someone flashed it with the wrong radio. Once it has the correct radio, if there is no hardware damage, it should work again.
I broke my digitizer . I'll be interested in buying the completely dysfunctional one from ya . Send me a pm if you're interested .

Yes, after I posted this thread, I was able to get into the tricolored screen. After that I tried to update the MAGLDR to V1.13, the screen got into the HTC loading screen with a progress bar stuck at 0% then on the computer it says there has been a communication error.
So my problem now is communication from my HD2 to PC, Which is weird because on the tricolored screen, the text switched to USB and I thought I figured it out, but no...communication error.
I am willing to do Task29 but I'm not aware of the risks or precedures.
Ok first off go to here and download the HD2 NAND Toolkit then install it o. Your computer. Next open the toolkit and then connect your HD2 to your computer via USB. Then use the toolkit to run the Task 29. Be warned though the Task 29 will totally delete the ROM partition of the NAND memory in your HD2 so you will not have a ROM on the device then so it will not boot to anything but the bootloader. Next use the Toolkit to flash either a Window's Mobile ROM, MAGLDR, or clk, you can also use it to flash Clockwork Mod Recovery.

Ok, I have gotten the Tool kit but I wasn't able to perform task29.
I got a communication error again, I have tried to do task29 twice.
Here are some screenshots...
HD2
So my problem is still with the communication errors I keep getting if I try to do anything.
Is there anything I can do with the Micro SD card?

You can run a Task 29 via SD card. You need to go to here and download the Repack by ShaDrac. Then right click the file and unzip it. Then find the .nbh file and rename it to LEOIMG.nbh and place it on the root of your SD card. Then boot into the bootloader and follow the on screen instructions.

The only thing I need to put on the SC card is the LEOIMG.nbh right

Yeah that is it, just copy the .nbh file and rename it to LEOIMG.nbh. Then copy it to the root of your SD card.
Edit: Once the Task 29 is done your HD2 will only boot to the first splash screen and you will be able to boot into the bootloader also. This is because the Task 29 removed the ROM from your HD2 and you will have to re-flash clk or MAGLDR then a recovery and then a Android ROM. Or you can always flash as Windows Mobile ROM.

Alright, I got into boot loader mode, then it goes onto a completely white screen with "Loading..." on the top.
After 5 minutes or so, the screen turns off with no instructions to follow after "Loading...".
I pressed the power button to see if it still works and goes into the old MAGLDR v1.11 screen with no menus/options.
Am I suppose to keep holding the Vol down button or something, I think im doing it wrong
Edit: I charged the phone before trying it again for a few hours and I think it was on the white "Loading..." screen for the whole charge.
I don't know whats wrong with it :d

First off sorry for the lag in response but I went to sleep not long after I posted my last response last night. If you never saw a box appear on the HD2 screen that asks you if you wanted to install the update and to press the power button to do so, then you did not run the Task 29. I am pretty sure you didn't anyway because you said you could still boot into MAGLDR 1.11 and if you had run the Task 29 then MAGLDR would no longer be on your HD2.
When you boot into the bootloader by holding the volume down button down and powering on the HD2 continue to hold the volume button down until you see searching. When you see searching you can release the volume down button and then you should see the window pop up that ask if you want to install the update and if so to press the power button to continue. Press the power button and the Task 29 will run, you should see a progress bar on the screen of the HD2.
Once the progress bar is done the HD2 should restart, but it will not have a ROM to boot so just pull the battery to turn it back off. Next, if you want to use Android, you need to install MAGLDR 1.13 or clk. You can install either one of these via SD card, just like the Task 29 you will have to copy the .nbh file for the custom bootloader you want to use to the root of your SD card and rename it LEOIMG.nbh. Make sure to remove the LEOIMG.nbh file that you used for the Task 29. Personally I prefer clk cause it makes the HD2 run like a native Android device, but you are having a communication error so this may lead to problems if you use clk as you have to flash Clockwork Mod Recovery via USB when you use clk. You know I would suggest you try a different USB cable as you might just have as faulty USB cable and that is what is causing the communication error. I would highly suggest you do this before trying to do anything at all more with the SD card. If you try another cable and it does not work then your HD2 more than likely has a faulty mini USB port.
If you try another cable and it works you can just use the toolkit to run the Task 29 and then use it to install either MAGLDR 1.13 or clk and then Clockwork Mod Recovery.

Whoa, after I read your post, I went and found another cable, attached it to the PC and turned on my HD2, it goes to the MAGLDR v1.11, but it has the options where I can use the volume buttons to choose things which I have never seen on this phone before lol.
What do you suggest I do since the options came up.
Wipe it and do MAGLDR v1.13
Or do one of the options on the screen
Okay well I've tried to task29 w/ the new cable, and it still does a communication error so there might be a problem with the mini USB port.
I tried to do task29 again via sd card, and this time I held down the volume down button for like 5 minutes until my fingers slipped, but there was no "searching" screen, just a "Loading..." screen and then it turns off after 10 mins.
I'm trying to get into that MAGLDR screen again with the options but I don't know how to, it was just too random.
I kind of wonder if a wrong radio was flashed to the phone and it got semi-bricked. I bought a phone once that was like that and tried to repair it and was unable to. I think there are people out there that can jtag it.
Maybe dude, right now im just waiting until someone knows exactly whats wrong with my phone and if they can fix it :d
i did do something to the radio, but i made sure it was the correct version according to their list of radios and the radio listed on my phone.
Anyway, im pretty much stuck. cant wipe via USB cable, of 3 different kinds.
and i cant wipe via sd card either.
will go back a few years and try and find old posts on old Kaiser thread, this starts to sound familiar with white screen and comms fail,if I remember properly it was/is problem with spl/hspl.
can you post what info does show on any boot screen.
am busy at moment will try searching later tonight.

One time I was able to flash something onto the phone and it was the "Radio_Leo_2.15.50.14" thing...
I don't remember why I did this but I did made sure it was compatible and it worked.
So it may have been the radio, I am not sure.
I do have pics of the boot loader screen before and after the flash.
If there are no solutions, I might as well sell them both. Which I'm about to do real soon
