I hacked my Tab and installed the newest Version of Android on it (2.3.3) But It's still not like I want my tab. On my Phone I'm using the Oxygen Rom, but I didn't find any Threads about flashing the Tab with Oxygen.
Did anyone already flashed oxygen on his Tab an can geve me some Feedback?

i've only seen oxygen rom for nexus s not for the tab.
For now (and I don't know if it will ever be), the Oxygen ROM isn't available for the Tab yet.

is anyone even using MIUI rom? i can see that development has "paused" with 1.9.9. can anyone give me a review on their experience with it?

A very stable ROM using it myself as my main ROM.
does anyone know or heard if the dev of falcon galaxy 1.0 + touchwiz is gonna come out with an updated version of his rom with touch wiz??? Im just curious to know cause i really liked how the whole setup was but want it to have the wifi tweaks and all that good stuff or maybe somebody else can make a rom with the touchwiz from samsung in it
please go to TabletRoms forum and go to iconia tab rom section, there is virtuous galaxy rom updated to android 3.2 fairly recently. Its continued by fguy (developer's account name). It runs pretty well too.
Looks like AllianceROM has been abandoned and my friend running it is ready for a new ROM.
Does anyone know of an alternate ROM that has all the cool theme options and is also updated to the latest COG4 firmware?
I don't have a Note4 myself so I don't have a way of flashing various ROM's.
And he's not a ROM flasher so if ya'll could point me in the right direction so I can flash him a new ROM with all the updates but still has the amazing theming options of AllianceROM.

Iv got a tab 4 as a gift running kitkat 4.4.2
I would like to install a custom rom as it looks very old and cranky, even though its only a 2014 tablet (why the hell samsung didn't update this I'll never know)
Iv installed Twrp,
I see there seems to be a limited number of roms for this device, any advice would be great.
I was looking at the moonlight rom. Apparently it works with the tab 4 WiFi.

I am looking for a ROM for this device, too. And I didn't find any ROM that is worth rooting my tablet and installing TWRP and things like that... All those ROMs are based on the same system, same android version, except for apps and some theming mods... I don't know why don't they just try to make an AOSP nougat ROM for this device, or porting a TW lollipop ROM to our tablet.
I have Samsung tab 4 Sm-t239 I want to install marshmallow.....presently tab is having android kit kat 4.4.4.....can anybody help

After reading through the custom roms for my T819Y, it looks like most have some issue or several features don't work or are unsupported in the custom rom.
I'm looking for recommendations for a stable version newer than Android V7.

LineageOS 16 by @LuK1337. You can find it in Tab S2 Original Android Development, despite the fact that our T819Ys are the second version Tab S2.
Also, it's made for T819, I'm not sure what the exact differences are yet, but I feel like it's band support maybe... Make sure to download the exact Android Nougat rom just in case!
Small update, on ROMs newer than Android 7, you can't use mobile data or anything of the sort at all.
Looks like it's time for an upgrade.
