does anyone know or heard if the dev of falcon galaxy 1.0 + touchwiz is gonna come out with an updated version of his rom with touch wiz??? Im just curious to know cause i really liked how the whole setup was but want it to have the wifi tweaks and all that good stuff or maybe somebody else can make a rom with the touchwiz from samsung in it
please go to TabletRoms forum and go to iconia tab rom section, there is virtuous galaxy rom updated to android 3.2 fairly recently. Its continued by fguy (developer's account name). It runs pretty well too.

Ok, I've had TouchWiz for a while now and I hate it, I want to go back to stock Honeycomb.
I'm in Canada, but I bought my Galaxy Tab online from an american, so I'm having a bit of trouble nailing down exactly what ROM I need.

I'm rooted, I just need a stock Honeycomb ROM to flash, but I can't find one anywhere.
look at the dev section
daawesome1s vanilla honeycomb or task&phantom's extreme stock experience. you shouldn't have to go through more than 5 pages in that section to find one of those two. you'll lose many features included with touchwiz, though.

So I was thinking that if the galaxy tab 7.7 ICS ROM that's just been released could be modified for our note we would have a proper working touchwiz tablet mode at long last!
All the official TouchWIZ ICS roms don't support tablet (<213dpi) mode at all due to FCs but here is a working touchwiz based tablet mode ICS rom - albeit for a different device that could be modified to work in our NOTE...
This would resolve most of the hardware/video acceleration issues that affect AOSP and CM9 based roms.
Anyone interested in this??

I think Thor had that Onskreen Cornerstone was working on one of his ICS builds, not sure if it's still implemented though.
I was reading a little about it just today and I discovered that this feature is TouchWiz related... I don't know if there is a way to bring it for non Samsung devices
Thor did have it working on his ICS ROM.
Conerstone abandoned support....so it was pulled from future builds

Samsung's implementation of Multi Window is buried very deeply into their TouchWiz code. It can't even be ported to an S3 or Note 2 running an AOSP rom, which I currently use. It depends on too many TW libraries to even consider porting.
Kornerstone was an older attempt at this feature, but was abandoned by its creators and the latest version of Thor's ROM that contained it (circa build v164 for ICS) was buggy as hell due to Kornerstone. Thor removed it from his subsequent ROMs (at least by v169).
Alas, there is absolutely zero possibility we will EVER see Samsung's Multi Window on our A500, or any non-TW ROM.

One week ago I downgraded my bootloader to be able to use Virtuous Galaxy Rom, that have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 TouchWiz Interface with mini-apps (only 7) in little windows that you can move and interact with them as you want, but is 10000 times more limited than the posibilitis that Note 10.1 TouchWiz gives.
The first drawback is that this Rom still in Hc 3.2 and it have a worse performance than the 4.x.x and that you have to downgrade your bootloader (If you have Dual Bootloader V8 ICS) and then you can only install HC roms.
I was asking for a 4.x ICS Bootloader TouchWiz Rom there and in other forums but nobody says anything. I tryed to give the code of Touchwiz and tryied to port a rom, but it was imposible to me (I have no enought knowledge about it)

However this rom is running on android 4.4.4, and not marshmellow, However the Android Version didnt affect me at all as it was impossible to guess that this rom is 4.4.4 due to the features and its UI, that almost completely mimicks the s7 marshmellow features.
Anyways, I Fully Recommend this Rom To Anyone who owns a Galaxy s3 and prefers the original samsung UI.

Well Different Opinions I guess, However HyperRom Was not at all buggy for me nor was it slow [Im also Still using it with no issues.]
Anyway There`s Also Another Touchwiz Rom Ive used Eclipse Rom Together With The Ultimate Marshmellow Mod. Just thought you should know, It is beautiful however proved to be more buggy for me.
Anyways I dont think we are to expect a Android Marshmellow Touchwiz Rom For The S3, Lets Face it This Phone is now 4 years old and we should be suprised on how much support it is still getting.
We Barely Have An Android Kitkat Touchwiz Rom, So we are to get a Lollipop Touchwiz Rom, before Marshmellow, So it Might Take Either a lot of time to happen or it may not happen at all.
Anyways CM13 and CM13.1 Is available right now that is with android marshmellow, So you can try that too if you want.

I once read that someone was porting lp 5.1.1 from a s5 rom. He said that it booted it with lots of bugs and it would not even be in alpha. I'm still searching for that forum I can´t find it . I'll give you a link when I find it :fingers-crossed:
Probably it willl be very hard to port S7 TouchWiz (too RAM consuming), it might be partially ported in future but I suppose it would be slow and buggy.
Can we solve the camera problem by upgrading s3 to s7?
