Hello I just wanted to know wich one is better? they both have the same specs but is there a difference between the speaker? becouse in the ad it says that it has got good speakers? can you flash all the vega roms on the ViewPad 10s?

I just bought a Point of view Mobii 10.1" Tegra yesterday. And from what I've read I would say yes, you can flash an Advent Vega rom on the ViewSonic ViewPad 10s.
And no, there should be no difference between the two. Advent Vega is the original and Mobii, ViewPad,... are all clones (exact same copies)!
Hello, ADVENT VEGA and Viewsonic viewpad 10s are clones. On the device can be installed Adven Vega roms.
I have a 10s and have flashed various ROMs the 1.09 Viewsonic Rom, tried the modded 1.10, standard Advent Vega 1.10, and Tegra Tab 1.10 all of these flashed without any problems.
I have also run the VegaComb 1.6 and am currently trying 1.7 which I am very happy with.

so Thats great that I can flash any vega rom on there becouse were I live the Viewpad 10s is 60€ cheaper but I don't know why? well here the vega is the pov mobii any clue why I could be cheaper? and it even has got a 16gb sd card with it

Hello, I think this is one of my firsts post (maybe not the first) in XDA, althought I was registrered and following discussions several months ago now
I have a Liberty Tab (from Packard Bell) which is exactly the same that the ACER Iconia Tab A500.
I was happy enough with my tablet, nonetheless I missed some functions, so I decided to install a coocked rom on it.
I tried Thor Toshiba Thrive v1.1, which was nice (specially because it has many apps from different roms) but too many FC and very slow, at least in my case.
Then after reading other many posts, I decided to try Taboonay (installing first v1.1 and then 2.0) and it works really well, I like it. I just miss some games that were pre-installed on my tablet when I bought it (like Hero of Sparta, Lets Golf,...) but I will download from Aptoide, so no problem hehehe
FINALLY, my question is HOW to get the 3G USB modem (from Huawei) workingon this rom? does anyone know how to configure it?
I could do it with Thor Toshiba Thrive rom, and now I want to do the same in here... but for the moment no way.
I don't find the answer in the forum, neither can post in developpers forums yet... so pleeeeeease help!

I tested the A500 root for 3.2.1 but gives this 'RED-error' message:
"Please download the newer image for the upgrade."
Current image version: PB_G100W_4.010.03_COM_GEN3
New image version: Acer_A500_1.016.05_COM_GEN1
Note: when using EUUs_PB_G100W_1.007.03_COM_GEN1.exe
(It's oficial EUU program for flashing PB_G100) found elsewhere ...
It doesn't gives me this message, so I suppose it's able to downgrade the firmware version??? ( I didn't go further ....)
Any advice?

No, but the Liberty Tab is from hardware side identical with the A500. So there is no need for a separate Liberty tab thread.

Can't find a way to post a new thread so i'll try my luck here.
I'm really close to bashing this tablet to peaces...
I've tried a lot of stuff but i'm kinda a noob for this. Have a softbricked Liberty Tablet q100w and i can't do anything to unbrick it. Just stays stuck on ACER logo and that's it. Tried the all the basic stuff that i could find around here but i'm all out of ideas.
Can someone please post a guide with WORKING links to the stuff i need to fix this damned tablet?
Where ever i go, "expired, non existing domain, this file doesn't exists, etc.." (can't enable USB debugging and download stuff to the tablet since it's bricked)
