Hello, Should I trade in my HTC HD2 for an HTC DESIRE HD?
I mean is it worth it?
Only if it's free...IMO definitely not worth much money

Hehe i know that but i have seen the htc desire hd forum and everyone says it runs smoothly and i mean sense 3.0 Runs smooth!1

HD2 advantage by multi OS
Desire HD advantage by not button and screen very colorfull but Battery very fast drain

Depends on whether you want wm or android. Though why not go for HD2 instead of HD?
because i already have htc hd and i was thinking of changing it with a htc hero.

Here's a link that explains the differences, but basically DesireHD is almost exactly like the HD2...if has a 4.3" screen and similar body style. The DesireZ has a 3.7" screen and a slide out keyboard. Both Android versions are basically the same, though. At least in my experience with the MDJ DesireHD and the dandiest DesireZ builds, I see no difference other than the dandiest build being faster and smoother and almost perfect.

what about landscape Sense? does Desire Z have it?
dan's desire z build is faster coz its overclocked.
you'll need to do a side by side comparison on both being overclocked to the same speed to really see.
that being said,i've tried dan's build.its smooth and faster.less glitchy.but i didn't overclock mdj's DHD build,so i cannot say for sure if it will be the same on the same clockspeed.

Yes it does have landscape sense with g sensor
Personal experience: ced's Desire HD2's keyboard has directional buttons, whereas dan's Desire Z counterpart hasn't got those...

as far as i know, they haven't got a 2.3 android device yet. they are soooo slow with updates.
No 2.3 Sense indeed, false alarm!

I found this "Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread On HTC Desire HD"
but i'm not sure that it'll work our HD2, maybe a Senior Developer can do it.

My previous phone was an HTC HD2 and I still think it is quite awesome.
But looking at the specs and comparing both phones, it seems the Desire HD is a better phone.

I personally love the HD2. Although, I haven't been exposed to the Desire at all..
I like the physical buttons ten times more than the touch sensitive ones.
But, it is like impossible to find an otterbox for a US Version of the HD2, and a lot easier for a Desire
- Both small things to consider
i think i'm gonna choose the HD2, for launch Ubuntu ! ^^ crazy thing !
