Depends on whether you want wm or android. Though why not go for HD2 instead of HD?
because i already have htc hd and i was thinking of changing it with a htc hero.

lets face it: "hd2" is hardly a catchy name, especially considering HTC christened other phones totally kick ass names like "incredible" and other android phones got names like "Droid" or "aria" and so on.
that being said, I think we need to come up with a new handle for the hd2s that are rocking android on them. personally, I've been referring to mine as the "HTC anomaly" since supposedly such a pairing was impossible.
has this sort of thought crossed any of your minds? do you call your Leo/hd2 something else?

i'd go with the desire hd for sure.. sad thing is, i'm not sure when it will come out on TMOUS, if it would even come out.. so i settled for MT4G, whish isn't really that bad.. i just like the looks on the desire hd, and of course the big screen..

that's why this is hypothetical question, it looks like all the features are the same with these phones but there are key differentiators like battery life, screen size, track pad, and ofcourse the stock froyo. So, I thought I would ask which ones people prefer over the other.

as far as i know, they haven't got a 2.3 android device yet. they are soooo slow with updates.

but i'm not sure that it'll work our HD2, maybe a Senior Developer can do it.

I wouldn't raise my hopes that high. I don't think the Desire C is similar enough to our device.
We need the DHD RUU for the camera nothing else is going to help us get the camera working..

I think Desire V RUU will be more helpful. It's almost the same as Desire Z. Besides Desire V has dual SIM(3G/2G and 2G) and no keyboard.
