gps2blue settings?? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

I read many treads about the program, but i can't make it work.
I use widdcom bluetooth on xp sp 2, igo8.3 for pc and gps2blue
Import the registry about incoming port on my htc(set it on com port 6)
when i connect it to the pc it appear only one connection "Serial Port" with com port 5
In GPS2blue mark for gps com4, and for bluetooth com6
In IGO set 6 port and the same baud rate(19200) and when i press "on" in gps2blue first it check bluetooth and then waiting for gps, BUT in bluetooth devices menu "Serial port" appear as disconnected. And at last igo do nothing, can't find any gps
Please take me advice

I have a slightly older model of the same bluetooth GPS as you (Leadtek 9537) - and can confirm that it works great with TomTom 5.10 on mine.
There is a long thread in this very forum about getting TomTom to 'see' bluetooth GPS receivers in Windows Mobile 5, I just followed the instructions in that thread and it worked a treat.
I have looked thru the forum about this topic and i have found a lot of useful information.. only problem is.. its the reciever and xda that i am findin hard to connect with each other not with tom tom..
Do you get the message "serial port device" etc and answer yes to the prompt?
Yeps.. i select the serial port check box and then the options on that are on screen are cancel, save and refresh.. so i press on save..
thats the end of it.. =S a partnership is created but no connection????

Hi,
I have the same problem - no virtual COM port - how did you make it ?
I tried every setting in TOM-TOM and nothing changed. Please help me.
TOMTOM AND GPS
The XDA II comes only with support for BT headsets and ActiveSync through BT. The serial port emulation is also a feature of the Microsoft BT stack but you need a device driver a register port and to handle it

Problem with GPS Reciver on Atom XDA with Tomtom

Hello, i've installed Tomtom 5.21 and the maps and everything is ok. but i can't make the link between my gps reciver (Royaltek Star III) and the atom XDA. I've installed the partnership in the settings but it doesn't connect with the antenna. I've seen in my other pda (ipaq hx4700 and ipaq hx2790) that there is a bluetooth manager in the connection setting but there is non in the atom xda. Do you know what's the solution ?
Thanks
create OUTGOING COM port for GPS device
The same problem again
I've tried but i can't choose the port i want and if i choose another one, i can't find it in the gps settings in tomtom.
tomtom use 8 COM port. so.
1. Settings=>bluetooth=>mode
2. check all boxes
3. Settings=>bluetooth=>devices=>new partnership
4. pare GPS
5. Settings=>bluetooth=>COM ports
6. choose device=>NEW OUTGOING port
7. assign your GPS device to 8 COM port
thats all.
Can't chosse com 8 in Tomtom
Ive tried in Tom tom to choose com 8 but the only ones i can choose are com 2, com 3, com 4 and com 9. And if i want to chose one of theses for pairing, it's refused. I don't know what to do
dont forget, you need to set a new incoming port too, just play about with differnet comm ports until one works, keep the gps in search mode until the atom sees it, assign a comm port to it and see if the gps screen picks up a signal, takes a bit of time, but generally always works
Not working
I'm using a gps antenna in bluetooth but it isn't working, there is no link between the antenna and the atom. On other pda you have the bluetooth manager and you can make the link in manual mode. I don't know why i can have the com8 in tomtom options. The antenna is never blue, there is no link between
bryson
you need to set a new incoming port too
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
no you don't. you can only receive information from GPS, not to send it.
dragsterbox
check PM
I did it
I did it but it's not working, no changes
did you assign for GPS 8 COM port?
by the way, do you have tomtom 5.21 for WM5 devices?
COM 8
In the bluetooth menu, first, i've the gps associated on serial port. The outgoing port on com 5 and the incoming port on com 8. But in tomtom i've com 3,4,5 and 9 avalaible but on the atom i can't chosse theses ones. That's the problem and i've no link made between. And there is no way to make it in manual mode
look, I sad clearly:
create OUTGOING!!!! COM PORT.
then assoshiate it with 8 com port.
you say:
incoming port on com 8
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
and
it isn't working
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
you dont understan why? I thing you don't see the difference between Incoming & Outgoing port.
I sad:

I have no comments. Good luck!
P.S. I have TomTom Navigator with bluetooth GPS on my Atom. It working perfectly.
Nothing's working
Impossible, nothing's working. There's no connection between the antenna and the tomtom.
In Tomtom the avalaible ports are : com 2, com 3, com 4 and com 9
On the atom, bluetooth is in discoverable mode and i've created a partnership with the antenna. I've created an outgoing port on com 8 and for the incoming port in com0 because i can't choose com 2, com, com 4 and com 9.
I really don't know what else i could try

Problem with COM ports

I am trying to configure igo with my TyTN. The most annoying thing happens. When I setup the bluetooth GPS device, I can only choose COM ports that igo can't see. For example, in the igo menu I have available COM1, COM3, COM6 and COM7. When trying to add an outgoing port to anyone of these ports in the bluetooth settings I get an error stating that the COM port cannot be created. However, if I choose COM2, COM4 or COM5 - it works - but igo can't see them. It's very frustrating.
What the hell is going on here? Did anyone encountered this problem?
