Opera 9.51b1 for Windows Mobile 5/6 Pocket PC

Dowloaded new version of opera onto my Elfin (I think, the memory extended tTouch) and just started playing with it, and like it so far, but can someone help out. I have dark Keypad installed and use it for everything but whenever I try to type anything in opera it starts to open keypad then decides better and opens up the original HTC crappy qwerty one instead. I just can't seem to stop it doing so, and it's really anoying. Anyone have any ideas?
If not then does anyone know how I can unistall all other keyboards, and will this force it to us the Keypad. Or is only having one keyboard a little dangerous.

doesn't the other thread only talk about opera 9.5 or is opera 9.5 rev1958 = 9.51? i'm a bit confused..

Some people will waste more energy trying to point out what you're doing wrong in one of the million plus discussion forums on the internet than what it would take to actually answer your question.
The official Opera beta is a great browser but it has two major flaws that you can't fix and can only wait until the next release. One is the keyboard issue you've mentioned. That is the deal killer for me. The second is it turns of the sounds for text message/email alerts.
Neither can be fixed as of yet.

Basically, the Development and Hacking forum is for developers to share their projects. Kind of a sounding board to beta test and continue developing their apps. When people post their questions in the open forum it kind of clogs up the search engine with garbage. It makes things harder to search for.
You should search for your topic, read the entire thread to see if your question has been answered already. Then if it is a new question, post inside of that thread. You will receive a much friendlier response.

Well it has nothing to do with stickies. I tried a search for "Opera Mini 5" and got no good results. Someone started a new thread about Opera Mini 5, and it's bogging down the real thread for Opera Mini
But if you were a user of Wingster, you would have known about it!

i don't know about the theme... but the apps are:
- S2U2
- S2P
- Vito SMS Chat
- Some Resco apps
- obviously Core Player & wobble ...
- I'm not sure about the contact manager, i had it but forgot, will search for you.
- ive never seen that expose app :S
and about the theme, i don't know... but try iphone today... the only plugin that is coming to my mind (never tried).

.KingsSlide2G1 v-1.3 is by far THE FASTEST...His thread is closed but if you downlaod the rom flash it..give it plenty of time to boot...then with root explorer go into system/app and delete the bluetooth apk ..since it doesnt work anyway...and the rest of the themes u dont use for mymodes, and some mroe programs you dont use like astro and visual voicemail..and BOOOOOOM!!! THE THING FLIES FASTER THAN CM5!!!You can even download the Facebook.apk from the applanet app, and YES FACEBOOK SYNC WORKS!!! No FCs, No Home screen reloading...nothing...EVERYTHING WORKS!!! except bluetooth of course.

Theres a lot more than just warez thats not allowed. Such as using the content of another rom without asking permission from the developer/giving credit to that developer. I dont know the details, but why question it ? Admins know the rules better than any of us and if they think it doesnt comply, it doesnt.

i have a problem believing his is any faster than chiefs, and chiefs supports more devices (including mine). does the genius button work in kings? not does it open up. does it actually connect to data send what you said and return an action?

Read the rules before posting please. There were some issues with King's rom which created a flamewar of hatred and evil little children teasing each other, so they closed it to avoid some gigantic ball of acid.
BTW his slide rom is NOT faster then CM5, stop dreaming. Apps take twice as long to load and there are some slowdowns here and there.

sign the file.
THEN upload it and post hit on XDA as

That place is an un-coordinated ****fest. Seriously.

His ROM is really good though. I just Wiped to Flash CM6, and I feel REALLY REALLY REALLY bad for not backing up. It was amazing he did very well on it. They should open up his MT3G2G1 Thread again.

King is known for including full versions of a few favorite utilities that cost $3 each or something. That's why a thread with one of his old rom's I used to use was closed anyway.
Glad you are happy with it though, but new roms come out every week, so starting a new thread claiming a closed thread has the be-all end-all rom is kinda un-kewl. Plus I need BT

Definitly...Because lot of users are wondering about which ROms they should put on their Hero.
Which ones are fast and stable for exemple then the link to it.
And also, the advancement od the 2.2 on Hero. Because i think that's wat people waiting for now...They all don't want to install it because its not fully working yet...but they want to know when it will

Yeah I'm gonna be doing some rom / development news, I've done a test article on HTC sense froyo rom that's just come out. let me know what you think.

EDIT: It seems to be a problem with the advertising, I've just implemented it. Give it a few hours to settle.
If it's not working by 21:30 GMT I will disable it.

I REALLY don't like that invasive pull page advertisement, good luck in making a few bob from the site but that is bad....
Maybe Firefox Adblock plus is the cause, it knows we don't want ads so is showing a blank page instead of the invasive full screen ad.
I think the page is loading okay but a split second later the ad takes over so all we see in FF is a blank screen

s**t I've just checked and the advertising company was hiding 'full page ads' under the more tab. I will remove it tomorrow.
The last thing I want to do is annoy you guys. I would never put so much advertising on, that's why I don't like theunlockr.com
I suppose this is why we have beta testing...

Ads now successfuly disabled. Good to know the android browser can cope with WordPress emergencies!
