Does anyone have an o2 imei I can use? Please pm me

Doesn`t work for me anyway, just keeps saying my IMEI number is wrong when it certainly is not as I type it just how my phone shows it.

How long till we receive the codes by e-mail? I submitted my questionaire two hours ago, apparently it accepted my data, but until now I didn't receive any e-mail.

Telling me my imei is wrong. Dunno why.
Sent from my R800i using XDA App

Weird. That promotion has been running for some time. I used my SIM unlocked phone's IMEI code just fine.

Works great !
Thanks for the heads up !

Can anyone tell me why my IMEI isn't working? I've emailed for support but heard nothing...

Big Thanks, haven't tried yet but will report back.
Much appreciated.
Edit: Getting "Your IMEI code is not correct, please check the code you have typed"
Edit: So I guess this is the problem: "When you buy a Sony Ericsson XPERIA PLAY mobile phone, between 27/05/2011 and 31/07/2011".
Bought mine on 16/05/2011.
Ah, gutted, I love something for nothing.

Weird. I tried emailing them with the email they gave at the end, and it just bounces back, lol.

It doesnt work for me either. :S
Damn it, i want free games XD.

I emailed them and never got a reply, what email did you guys that got a response use?

I'm in Canada so I don't get them.
Just curious what games they are offering?

Getting the same wrong imei number error as some of you guys. Mind you, I bought it the day after release in April, and I'm on T-Mobile rather than O2. most disturbing.

HD2 Ordered

Just had my contract renewal and placed an order for a HD2
HOPE to get it on Saturday and have the weekend to play and install my apps. Upgrading from a Diamond. I have looke dat the tweaks sticky and downloaded a few of them ready.
Any heads up for the fone?
best advice, play with it first, dont get crazy adding stuff till you are comfortable with it, and read a LOT.
Good luck for saturday delivery!

Ok, after frustrating calls to O2 who finally deceided to tell me they didnt know hen they would have the HD2 in stock I cancelled and went in store and got one today! LOVE IT!
Whats the benefit of that unlocking link?
As soon as its unlocked you can , obviously, use any sim card in it...
Silly noob comments removed
Seriously suggest you take the advice to read as theres just so much stuff to try out you'll probably end up duplicating your efforts as most of the cooked ROM's will already include any of the tweaks you're likely to try and going crazy with the mods can have an adverse impact on stability. As a first port of call for a must have grab a file explorer and a back up utility (if you haven't already)...
doesnt need to be unlocked to flash roms. sim lock and rom lock aren't connected.

The benefit is that it's free and allows any sim from other providers.
Most HD2 owners need to pay around £20 for this. It may not directly benefit you at this time but it will some day.

Count the digits. the IMEI only needs to be 16 digits, but several people (myself included) have found that the hd2 displays a 17 (or 18 one person said) digit imei. KNock off the last digit and try again.

Hi guys couple of questions if you dont mind HTC HD2 imei

Hi guys had a look around but still not 100% on the answers so ill ask.
( 1 ) I have a fully open networked HTC HD2 came like it out the box so can run any sim. I dont like the phone as in getting app's for it im not big on stuff like that. So im looking to get a new phone what i wont to no is if Ithe IMEI was blocked in the UK could the Phone be used in say the USA if I wonted to sell it ?
( 2 ) If the phone would work out side the UK would it still be open to any network like in the UK?
Thanks silly questions I know and sorry about that.

Since IMEI blacklists are only national (so in the country they were blocked), they will be usable out of the UK. But not inside. Not even with another provider while on vacation in the UK.
erm, are you asking whether you can report your phone lost or stolen, then selling it on?
OH ok thats fine then so if i was to have misplaced my phone then find it againe after its been blocked I could still sell it.
Thanks

Warning? Microsoft UK support no longer issuing *live* codes.

Just a heads up; called MS UK support (18:00GMT) just now and they are not giving out any more live codes for WP7 users - instead you need to call HTC ...
Apparently they are updating the MS KB article to that affect.
It would appear that HTC want the IMEI number before going any further.
Not 100% sure if anyone else is getting this now?
Yes, there are many reports of this.
I assume however that HTC are probably just checking if the IMEI is a HD7? I doubt they are checking off every IMEI, as you could just claim you've changed your live ID, bought it from eBay? Also the codes only seem to be brand specific?
So get an IMEI and call HTC to get your code?
what about the us MS ? has anyone got any news if they are not issuing any activation code anymore (

I called the uk number (think it was home user>tech support) around 4.30pm today...got a code no problem. Might of just been lucky as the person I spoke too was alright...only asked if I had an htc (name/number/live id).
WP7 is pretty slick I have to say...really is up there with the iphone in terms of speed and looks. BUT i cant download from the marketplace...keeps saying try later. Now I get low disk space and random reboots. Any ideaS?

Might means that your micro SD is not compatible...
Try with Micro SD class 2. Try 8 Gb for start.
Once you entered your Live ID wait for the end of syncronisation and reboot!
Juste open Marketplace with WIFI
Should be perfect Running WP7 with 16Gb Micro SD card. Perfect just experiencing some freeze.
Take your time the result is great.
Keep the code
Just tried the UK number a bit ago and it seems you can only do it during office hours, so I couldn't even ask.
Tried the US number and after loads of mucking around I got told they couldn't help as they can only deal with US customers. Bah.
But, at the moment whilst I love the clean fresh look of WP7 it looks like it could get frustrating pretty quick since there's hardly any settings that look accessible. Probably just because I'm new to it and don't know how to use it to be fair.
Not sure now whether to wait til tomorrow and try to activate it, or to just stick nandroid back on. Both would be nice but we won't go there.....
I got my code from the US today about an hour ago. Actually, I got 2 just in case.
Are you in the US though mate?
Wish I could get one for mine but I've tried US and UK numbers now and failed. I've been playing a bit more with 7 and I really like it.
If anyone was able to get a code for me I'd be hella grateful. What info do you have to give to MS though about your live account??
Guys, just a hint, if you call the US support, which you can do via Skype for free anywhere in the world, at least don't tell them you are from the UK or elsewhere...Obviously they are US support to help people from the US, therefore, you guys need to be a little bit creative in what you tell them...

You are already lying to them about having an HD7... might as well tell them a bogus US number. As a disclaimer, i do not suggest nor condone any of this, just common sense

I figured there's no point lying about where I was phoning from since presumably like in most offices, their phone or monitor would be displaying the number you're dialling from!
OK. I just phoned and was asked for my IMEI number. I actually gave them my HD2 number, and they accepted it!
Scared me, but i now have a nice shiny activation code.
P.S Im from the UK but i think they sent me to the US.
dont think it works any more though.. chevron no longer unlocking..
oops, never mind

up to you want you want to do, the chap above can do it, or you can try for yourself. Personally and absolutly no discredit is ment by this, id try it again, purely from an education point of view, feels much beter when you get something right yourself
um as for speaking to them, you can tell them whatever you like, personally in your situation i would say i got this somewhere else, your working abroad just now and you had to reset it, and its coming up with some funny message, youve never seen this before so youve just followed the directions,
Remember, your an average user and youve never heard of XDA dev
na seriously, when i did mine it was over the phone and they said no they stopped doing it, i kicked up a **** storm with them, playing Mr innocent average jo, and took it to their boss, and amazingly an email dropped in my inbox with a key 30 seconds later, other people have had no bother at all, it really is just luck who you talk too,
souljaboy: Check your PM inbox.
i would have left the title and original post, it aids other folk when/if they do searches, now its just an out of context conversation.
i simply called windows and they gave me a key i didnt even have to tell them if i had an hd2 or hd7 they never ask i simply told them i had a htc and in 2 mins i had my own key

Human always smarter than machine. Samsung got a disadvantage which is included built in recovery. He can just simply boot in and factory reset everything. Or just remove all accounts that in your s4. Let's pray for the stealer is stupid.

Yes I this there is a notification telling that device "is found" ... but you can't prevent anybody from flashing a new firmware.
On your box there should be an IMEI number (or on your receipt) and IMEI is a bit more difficult to change so maybe you have a chance to trace it in some other way.

You can set sim change alerts in the standard s4 settings aswell. I only found out the other day and it can be set to text a friend or family member.
Hope you manage yo yrack and get the phone back, too many low lifes in the world needing to steal someone elses hard earned money/phone etc. Is there no way of having the imei blacklisted? Keep that as a last resort if it can be done, as far as I know soon as its blacklisted you wont be able to track it at all

second of all, if he flashes a new firmware or disconnect from my samsung account ( or even a factory reset )
can i know it? or it will just stay offline for ever?

If he just reset (factory reset), wipe data or flash a new firmware, IMEI may survive.
So IMEI tracking is your last chance.
I don't know this company http://www.trackimei.com/ but maybe worth a try?

BTW I could imagine that he sell it to some innocent person ... knowing it's a bit to hot to keep for him self
