Hi
I have recently installed LeeDroid 3.0.7, its mostly great.
The thing I have noticed the most which is a bit annoying are the changes to the notification panel, while I love the fact its now transparent it has this white lighting effect on it, starting from the top left gradually getting darker until it reaches the bottom right.
I understand these can be referred to as the lighting gradrient or spotlight effect.
Basically its too dark, I want to lightening it up.. make it brighter. So I can read all of the text when I have 3 or 4 notifications.
Thanks
you can change it yourself:

People who have the omnia 7 can do a test with her to see if mine is defective or something? In the glow when you change from automatic to manual not, notice a big difference if they have the white background? And when at maximum brightness teem (manual) to change between the home and the other main scree apps from the white background does not get darker? And on a white background apps tb not notice the difference in whites (are grayed out)?
I think this strange..
It's not a fault mate - it's some kind of power saving feature that's built into the display. It's annoying to be honest as i too would like to use the White theme but when it dulls it to the grey it just looks horrid.
This is the only real negative thing i have to say about the Omnia 7 - i just wish Samsung had left it upto us to adjust this ourselves.
Hi, just simple question. How can I setup black background for all ROM apks that doesnt have their own background?
I tried Omega 5.0, Wanam 1.2, prerooted MF2 ROM and all of these have very dark grey colour backgroung in settings, contacts, messaging etc. Before MEA (e.g. on ME2 I used quite long) there was 100% black background (with well known smearing efect which doesnt bother me so much). So, sammy changed the background from black to dark grey for eliminating smearing efect and to shut our mouth up THX for advice I think many of us love our AMOLED display with true blacks and hate samsung for these cheap tricks!
Here are screenshot, if you cant see the difference, just use the pipette (colour picker) in your favourite photo editing program and observe what colour it truly is...
Hi guys. How to change notifications icons in left top corner.Like facebook,500px,instagram...I used to have note 3 ,where there where all white colours and a bit different. Now they are sort of colour full and very small,so not very visible.I wish they have notification design like other phone brands. Also facebook badge notification not showing up red numbers.Every time I want to know if someone like my photo or something must open facebook apk.Sort of annoying too.Any suggestion?
I have a custom image on my Always On Display screen but, despite being a simple black and white image, it is a lot dimmer than the rest of the items like the clock and notification icons. They seem a crisp white while the image is grey which loses some of the thinner lines in the picture.
Is there anyway to alter how it displays custom images?
To be clear, I'm not talking about overall brightness, I understand how that works with auto-dimming. I mean that the picture is greyed out and dim compared to the other, system, elements like time, date, etc.
Thanks
Hello. I just received my pixel 4 and have noticed that on a black solid wallpaper or background there appears to be what looks like light bleeding at the top and bottom of the screen. It's yellowish in colour and about 1/2 cm. I can only assume my screen is faulty but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this issue? I've tried to take some pictures of the issue and will attach to this post.
Cheers.

The status bar has a gradient color so it should show light at the top. The navbar has one too but more subdued. Hard to see in a screenshot. Yours does look like more than just a gradient however.

Yeah it's a yellowish green colour too which doesn't seem normal. I'm going to send it back. Thanks for your reply.
