Did you have USB connection before? If yes, the driver should be in your system.
To flash HSPL, you should go into bootloader mode with your HD2 (push vol. down and power at the same time while starting the device), and next step would be to connect to the PC via USB.

ya i have USB connection ...(driver means any HTC Specific driver for HTC HD2)
and i have done (push vol down and power at same time) but the serial appears at bottom of the screen and after attching USB to pc nothing will happen it stuck for whole time
Different usb port, use one around back of the PC, not one in the front or hubs or usb extensions or anything, it will only work in the ports directly mounted to the motherboard. Also, when it times out, don't touch the phone, just run hspl again. Keep trying different ports. Noneed to keep restarting the phone, just leave it in bootloader.

Restart a PC might help or else reinstall USB Driver (HTC Sync)
doesn't matter which os do you use either win7 or xp or vista - just use not the port which is giving you an error use the other one try it again if it fails just close your antivirus or firewall while using that flash tool it might help!

hi every one. I have a qtek s200 and I have a white screen problem. I don't know why one shiny morning my qtek appear with a white screen. First I think that was the screen and buy a new one. after replaced I turn it one with the new screen the screen seams equal :s After that I made a lot of search and did some thinks like install Active Sync. The active Sync does not detect my phone.. I install the last versions but nothing appear.. when I plug the phone on computer with USB cable nothing is detected by computer but if I press photo+on button it detect a "windows Ce usb device" and nothing appear on active Sync.
I already try reset using style and nothing. I try to update using PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM6_V1.00_Step1 (ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe). It finish and I get the message that was successful updated. And if I try to update it again appear the same screen saying that don't have a version (see the printscreen). I never see the 3-colour menu :s it just don't appear.
Any one one what I have to do to play again with my phone?

Recovery
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401326
If at any stage your Prophet fails to start properly or can only enter bootloader follow this:
* Download and install the latest version of ActiveSync (Google for it)
* Download and unzip an AKU2.2 (No Vendor) ROM for the Prophet-any AKU 2.2 will do-from [here | ftp://xda:[email protected]p.xda-developers.com...4721_NVID.exe] or [here | http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...=Prophet_ROMs]
* Within ActiveSync DISABLE connect through USB (Tools->Connection Settings->Uncheck Allow Connect through USB)
* Put the Prophet into bootloader mode (hold the camera button and insert the stylus into the larger hole next to the power socket)
* Plug the Prophet in via USB
* Run the RUU specific to your device (G3 or G4) from the AKU2.2 folder. If there is only one RUU, use that.
* When it has finished: disconnect the Prophet, and then re-enable the connect through USB in actyivesync before reconnecting the device.
==> if success, will going back into WM5 and then u can use the Lazzy Tool, look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547
choose WM 6.1 ROM, after u doing that step, u already done with the WM 6.1
SEMOGA SUKSES!
I bought a used MyTouch 3G with the 3.5mm jack. Everything seems to work, except for connecting to either of my windows 7 pc's. I have the oem usb cable that came with the phone. When I plug it in, Windows says the usb device is not recognized and is malfunctioning. I attempted to install the drivers that come with pdanet to no avail. I also installed htc sync. When I plug the phone into my computer, it starts charging, but the taskbar message on the phone does not show it as connected to a pc.
Any ideas here?
try another usb cord?

Try to install the USB drivers that come with the Android SDK?
(I don't think you need the HTC sync stuff for that).
Depending on what ROM you are running, or if it was made by some paranoid network provider, you might not be able to use the phone as a modem (tethering)... I've heard that some network providers disable the tethering feature...
With CM ROM, I've had no problems tethering over USB in: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Ubuntu 10.4 (Windows XP didn't work at all).
You have to enable the tethering feature first on the phone before it will work (I'm not talking about installing some app from the market, I'm talking about the built-in setting: settings-->wireless&networks-->tethering).
Have you tried mounting your SD card to access it as storage device over USB?
If neither tethering or USB mount wants to pick up when you plug the cable in, I'm guessing your cable is bust or your phone...
Have you tried the same cable on another PC?
Are you using some dodgy USB add-in card or USB hub on your PC? Did Windows 7 install the correct drivers for your USB controller on your motherboard? (do any other USB devices work on your PC?)
same problem HTC my touch 3g
I have a google tmobile htc my touch 3g 32B 2.2.1 android and under vista i have a load of usb problems device not recognized. have tried many many things still nothing works. called htc they told me to call ms. perhaps some conflict with the device. problem rooting it with sapping and gold card method and sapping as well. any suggestions?
Maybe you have a corrupted misc partition :0|
just restart your phone... it will surely work
I'm trying to go back to Stock Windows 6.5
I tried downloading the stock rom and extracting the zip to my desktop then copying the nbh file over to my SD card and renamed it to LEOIMG.nbh and booting into Boot Loader Mode but it wont load the NBH file.
Here's the settings from my Boot Loader:
-------------------------------------
PB81120 HX-B3
SPL02.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x40
SERIAL
Even with the USB connected it still says Serial. I tried installing HTC Sync and the rom I downloaded and extracted is "RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.0_Radio_Signed_15.34.5 0.07U_2.08.50.08_2_Ship"
---------------------------------
aMAGLDR v1.11
Build: Dec 31 2010 05:30:51
---------------------------------
What am I doing wrong? I tried searching for HSPL Uninstall but im not even sure what to look for. I'm probably posting in the wrong forum thread but I'm lost for words. Help?
Flash any custom wm6.5 rom thru usb. Turn the phone off, power on going into the tricolored bootloader, and as soon as you see the colors plug the USB cable from the pc, you should hear it connect and it will say USB at the bottom of the bootloader screen, then use the winmo custom ruu to flash windows, once you got windows, you can do the stock rom from sd to lock it down with stock spl, or flash stock rom after the custom rom and use the same program to install hardspl to switch to stock spl.

Does it detect your phone while in android?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Well its obviously a driver issue, it clearly shows you in device manager.
Right click and choose update driver or use windows update or use a program like Driver Genius or Driver Magician etc.
Also try other USB sockets.
Try connecting on android, and once connected, leave the cable in and turn off and go into bootloader and see if that makes it connect.

Thats exactly what I did. Sometimes Windows detects incorrect driver names so when it came up with Qualcomm i didnt know that was the phone's chipset. Updated that driver thru Windows Updates and now im back on Windows Mobile. I was freaking out for a minute.. Thanks Guys!

So

Wait USB ... USB
Inside Magldr 1.13 there is ROMUpdateUtility.exe, i click that, next, next
here is a photo of error message:
fixed.
You need to enter "three colors" screen; to do so,
reboot while holding volume down. That's it.
lol, yea, flash magldr from bootloader, just like winmo roms, radios and splashscreens. Everything else you flash from magldr or cwm.

Hi,
You are trying to update MAGLDR from 1.11 to 1.13.
This must be done in the bootloader screen.
Download THIS TOOL (Don't forget to thank him)
Go to "other tools" Install MAGLDR.
Follow onscreen instructions.
To get into bootloader screen, hold down volume button when you power on phone.
Edit:
Curse my slow typing
Hi,
Have been an owner of an M9+ for a few months now and it's taken me this long to not manage to unlock the bootloader so have caved in and decided to ask nicely for some help / advice.
Firstly, I live in the UK. I bought the handset from Fonis who are located in Dubai (best price, unlocked to any network, etc, etc) so am assuming this handset has got nothing to do with Verizon?
Problems..... the check box for 'allow OEM unlock' is not there. Doesn't exist. There is nothing in Developer Options to do with OEM.
When I boot the phone into Download Mode my pc does not detect it so am unable to proceed in getting the identifier token thingymabob.
Things I have done.... enabled dev options, enabled usb debugging, downloaded all the adb / fastboot stuff, shouted a lot and referred to the handset as a s teaming pile of s**t.
So, am I being extremely thick here and missing something obvious? Have I bought a complete donkey of a handset? (Fonis have good reviews online and that along with the price was a deciding factor in using them).
If anyone can help, great. If any further intel is needed then ask and I shall provide.
Cheers,
Rick
Do you have HTC sync latest installed? That contains the USB driver for the phone for fastboot to work
Yep, latest version of sync is installed. When I open HTC Sync with the phone connected to the PC while in download mode Sync states 'no phone connected'.
Have tried different usb leads and different usb ports but nothing is happening.

If you didn't try, maybe try connecting device, remove/uninstall driver of phone device instance in Device manager, reconnect and see if it installs correct driver. Sometimes wrong driver sticks with the phone device, if it was connected before HTC sync installed.
In developer options (in settings) you have to enable the bootloader unlock.

Hi, as stated in my original post, that option is not on my phone, it doesn't exist.
