Hi all,
I have had my Vega for two weeks now and my G-Sensor has stopped working. I am currently running Fuji-Vega Modded Rom based on Modaco Rom v0.7.
I have put back the original rom back on from the Vega website Version 1.10 but the G-Sensor still done not work.
How can I check if there is a problem with the hardware before I take to back PC World/Currys.

I also have the same problem, the gsensor stoped working. No screen rotation and also the games doesn`t works.
I have Corvus5 with SP1.
Someone have the same problem? how can i fix it?

Have you tried a reboot. I have had this a couple of times and a reboot has fixed it
yes, I also wipe and reinstall corvus5 and corvus5sp1 and the accelerometer doesn`t work
I am starting to think that something on the sensor is broken

try to move the switch on top of the tablet...
Ok thanks a lot. The problem was that switch, i think that switch is to lock the buttons not to lock the gsensor. The kids have been playing with it and the have changed the switch.

Hi,
I am trying to make my G-sensor working after flash. I flashed to Don Salari's ROM (clean) and since then G sensor is dead. Of course it was working before that.
I can't even make HTC calibration program working - I successfully install it, make soft reset but clicking on the icon does nothing. I tried some reinstalls and other versions. Also tried Accelerometer Calibrator, but the same result - clicking on icon does nothing.
GSen (SKKV Software) - Auto Rotation with G-Sensor support for many applications --- this app works - white dot on the top appears, but Gsens still dead.
I searched many topics here, but nothing and I am getting bored, I like this ROM but I would like to have Gsens working either
Any ideas ? Thanks..
Same problem here... tried on two devices... MDA Compact IV and HTC Diamond Touch... after flashing this ROM g-sensor doesn't work anymore...
Any suggestions?
update: i just re-flashed it with MTTY and g-sensor still not working... but working on both devices with other ROMs... any tips out here?

hello while looking for official Froyo I updated to 2.51 (2.1-update 1) using motorola update software... but I just discovered the touch screen is not working correctly. If I press the screen after a few seconds it will stop responding (will act as if i remove finger). This is an important problem on games, for example. touch was fine before update... what should I do? reset to factory ?

A factory or master reset might solve your problem. Please backup all your data and list all your applications for reinstalling as they will be wiped out during the process.

Flashing CM7 over it would most likely fix it, isn't it?
Its the same in all android versions(from eclair to gingerbread)

I can confirm it. I've tried a lot of ROMs (currently the CM10) and all have the same exactly problem.
hi,
i installed cm 7.1.0. after a week or so, the touchscreen stops working properly. i wiped using the calkulkin erase all zip. tried flashing again and erasing then other stable version. touchscreen continues to play up. finally flashed with sun rom. home key and eome keyboard keys still dont work. any suggestions?

It's obviously a hardware issue if it persists across ROMs (Not that a ROM can ever cause a touchscreen to play up randomly)

Hi all, I just got a Defy+ and I noticed that auto rotation is not wotking. Phone is always in portrait mode (auto rotation is enabled in options), I tried couple of roms and result is same. In CM roms compas calibration is working but screen is still stuck in portraid mode. Flashing officialy SBF didnt help....Is this hardver problem or there is still hope for me?
Looking at these pictures Defy on the left (my defy) has problem with compas. On flat surface both show N correctly but when I place them up my defy is showing wrong N. Is there any way to fix this compas error?
Some news...each time I flash SBF auto rotation works only for 5 sec, so I startet to experiment with system/bin/akmd2. I was mowing that file all over the phone memory, giving him diferent permision...and I dont know how but after phone restart auto screen rotation worked. I was so hapy so I decided to flash CM10 and after that flashig autorotation didnt work again. I have tried to repeat steps with akmd2 file but no help. And one strange thing...I have flashed WiUi JB 3.1.21 and in that rom my autorotation is working. Unfortunately that rom is laggy for me and I cant use it. question is why autorotation is working on this wiui rom but not workign on official sbf and other cm roms? Can I use some files from wiui system/bin to put them into CM and make screen autorotation working again? Thx

All this time autorotation option didnt work and two days ago I have installed game from google market "Traffic Racer". After playing that game for 10 min I noticed that autotoration is working :fingers-crossed: . I thing playing that game with tilt somehove triggered my sensors again and now after flashing many roms autorotation is still workin.
Hi everyone! I have a hardware related issue here.
I have replaced the screen (+digitizer in a whole) and since then it is randomly going off and on. Interestingly it even did the same in recovery (TWRP 2.3) BUT not with every software! Installing the TWRP 2.6 or above stopped it happening in the recovery.
I have tried various ROMs so far. The Eclipse ver3 did not flicker, but it has a problem with the registering on a network here in the UK. Stock + stock based ROM (Rage 1.2) are also switching on-off. I am currently looking for a working ROM.
Please let me know if someone with the same problem can find one.
Also tried to play with developer options like Disable HW overlays or Force GPU rendering with no effect.
I wonder if it is a different hardware version of the replacement screen or what else can it be? (screen came from etradesupply)
Update - problem solved
Good news. Installing CyanogenMOD 11 solved the screen flashing issues and everything seems to work right. Thank you developers!
