Mmmmmmm, interesting ...

2.3.4 FTW!!!!!
My first instinct is this will be an update, not the rollout. We'll see

Makes sense. The EF02 release was too buggy to be a RC, plus it still has the debugging code embedded in it. Maybe EF10 was a RC?

Bluetooth audio quality fix maybe
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App

Well hopefully it's a GPS fix as well as everyone on the leak is losing signal after 10-15 minutes or so yielding it pretty much unusable.

And EF16 sounds so much cooler than EF02.

EF10 and I've noticed no such problem.
I wish google talk video chat worked properly though.

EF16, that was quick. Do you suppose there will be a leak of it before an official release? Forgive my ignorance but what is this Sprint "Playbook" I see referred to from time to time and when is it updated?

Well, some people may not want to root -- either don't know how, or feels it's "illegal," or don't want to run the security risk.
In practice, even with lag fix, the phone still freezes on occasion (usually when a call comes in, which means I can't answear it, or when trying to unlock. It's rare, but it shouldn't be happening.
We paid our $$$, now the ball's in Samsung's court.
Sounds to me that this update that the Captive got didn't improve the GPS much. Some even say its worse after the update. MAYBE, Just maybe. T-Mobile had to see where these updates went and Then fix it before we get it. Then when it works on the vibrant we can be happy?

The issue is, as I know it, is that the leak did not come with source, and most of the kernel tweaks cant be done w/o the kernel source
And the source is not released until the official build drops
not to mention a lot of Devs dont build ROMs for leaks

Good point, though there are EE03 ROMs, and devs working on the build, but from what I can tell, DK28 was a solid leak, where EE03 seems to still have a lot of bugs, hence the reduced interest by the Devs

EG29
EG30

EH03

EH04 and EH05 too.
yes, judging by these builds it seems like they are almost done and doing small stuff like making sure apps are working as they should and optimizing code and such. I remember when i had my hero they always sped up build rate before release (2.1).
Oh yeah, I see the EH04 & EH05 now, but how can that be? That would be tomorrow & the next day's builds... Has Samsung figured out how to bend time?

In development you have UAT QA which leads to this multiple builds drama. Everytime the QA tech kicks back the code the devs go back recompile the fix and they have to stamp it with a new build number.

Try that workaround. It involves a hacked/modified Google Videos app that disables the root check. I don't know if it works personally because I only use Netflix mobile.
Edit: Before anyone asks, that hack just gives rooted users access to the movies they legitimately paid for. IT WILL NOT MAGICALLY ALLOW YOU TO WATCH MOVIES FOR FREE.

Any news from SamFirmware regarding September leaks?

In the past we've been getting about 2 leaks a month from SamFirmware, one mid-month and one end of month. With the ides of September coming up I was wondering if anyone has been in contact with them? (I don't have a twitter account or I'd tweet them myself.
Hoping for EI09
Or is everyone just so burned out on leaks that it just doesn't matter any more?
Ill hit them up, but I think they said August was the last minth of leaks for the D700 because builds were updated too often. Ill lost back when I hear back from them
